Saftey
Laser classication
This meter produces avisible laser beam from thefront
of theinstrument: it is aClass 2 laser in accordance
with: IEC60825-1: 2014 Safety of laser products.
Laser class 2 products
Do not stare into thelaser beam or direct it towards other people or animals.
Risk of serious damage to eyes.
Warning! Do not look directly into thebeam with optical aids such as binoculars
or telescopes. Risk of serious damage to eyes.

Read theentire instruction manual.
Laser class 2
Make sure not to remove or damage thesafety symbols and warnings found on
thedistance meter.
• Never try to open thehousing, repair or modify thedistance meter in any way.
• Only use accessories that are recommended by themanufacturer or retailer.
• Never use thedistance meter where flammable or explosive substances are used or stored.
• Do not use thedistance meter on or near highly reflective surfaces since thelaser beam can
be reflected back into your own or someone else’s eyes.
• Keep thelaser distance meter out of children’s reach.

Batteries
1. Remove thebattery cover and insert 2×AA/LR6 batteries (sold separately).
Refer to themarkings in thebattery compartment to ensure correct polarity.
2. Refit thebattery cover.
Switching the laser level on
Note:
• Never leave theproduct switched on unattended. Always switch it off after use. There is always
arisk that someone could be blinded by thelaser beam.
• Never point thelaser towards people or animals and never look into thelaser yourself even if
you are not standing close to thelaser level.
• Protect thelaser level from wetness and persistent sunlight.

• Do not expose thelaser level to extreme temperatures or rapid changes in temperature.
Do not leave thelaser level in your car for along period. Extreme temperatures or rapid
changes in temperature can affect theprecision of thelaser level.
• Avoid subjecting thelaser level to heavy impacts or shocks. Damage to thelaser level could
affect its accuracy. Theaccuracy of thelaser level should be tested against known references
following any heavy impact or shock.
• Switch thelaser level off before transporting it. When thelaser level is switched off
thelevelling system locks to prevent it becoming damaged.
Automatic Self-Levelling
1. Position thelaser level in asuitable place (free-standing or on atripod/stand).
2. Set the [ON/OFF] switch (4) to theON position. Thelaser beam will appear on thesurface
that thelaser window is pointed towards and theauto-level indicator (2) will be green.
Note: If thelaser level is inclined more than 4° form horizontal theauto-level indicator will shine
red, thelaser beam will flash and theself-levelling function will deactivate. Right thelevel by
hand to within 4° of horizontal and theautomatic self-levelling function will reactivate.
3. Press [ ] therequired number of times to select thedesired laser projection mode:
horizontal, vertical or cross.
4. Slide the [ON/OFF] switch] to OFF to turn thelaser level off.
Note:
• Always switch thelaser level off after you have finished working or before moving it to
adifferent location. When thelaser level is switched off, abuilt-in lock mechanism is engaged
to protect thelevelling mechanism.
• In theevent of vibrations and changes of position during use thelaser level will automatically
self-level. Each time thelaser level has been levelled, theaccuracy of thehorizontal and
vertical lines should be checked against aknown reference in order to avoid errors.
Locked line mode
Theprojected laser line can be locked (self-levelling switched off) and thelaser level tilted
manually to any desired angle.
1. Slide the [ON/OFF] switch to OFF.
2. Press [ ] to switch thelaser level on. Theauto-level indicator will now shine red.
3. Press [ ] therequired number of times to select thedesired laser projection mode:
horizontal, vertical, cross or no line at all.
Care and maintenance
• Always switch thelaser level off before cleaning it, moving it, and after you have finished working.
• Clean theexterior of thelaser level by wiping it with adamp cloth. Use only mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Always treat thelaser level with thecare deserving of theprecision optical instrument that it is.
• Do not subject thelaser level to impacts, vibrations, extremely high or low temperatures.
• Remove thebatteries and store thelaser level in adry, dust-free environment, out children’s
reach whenever it is not to be used for anextended period.

Troubleshooting guide
Thelaser level will not
switch on.
Check thecapacity of thebatteries and make sure that they
are inserted correctly. Follow themarkings on thebottom of
thebattery compartment.
Thelaser line flashes during
self-levelling.
Theincline angle has been exceeded (4°).
Right thelaser level.
Thelaser level shuts down
after afew seconds use.
Thebatteries are flat. Change thebatteries.
Thelaser line is not clear. • Check thebatteries and replace if necessary.
• Check thelaser window; clean it with asoft cloth if necessary.
• Ambient light level too high.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with general
household waste. This applies throughout theentire EU. In order to prevent
any harm to theenvironment or health hazards caused by incorrect waste
disposal, theproduct must be handed in for recycling so that thematerial can

Användning
Batterier
1. Ta bort batteriluckan och sätt i batterier, 2×AA/LR06 (säljs separat).
Se märkningen i botten på batterihållaren så att polariteten blir rätt.
2. Sätt tillbaka batteriluckan.
Slå på krysslasern
Obs!
• Lämna inte krysslasern påslagen utan uppsikt, stäng alltid av den efter avslutat arbete.
Risk finns att andra bländas av laserstrålen.
• Rikta aldrig laserstrålen mot andra personer eller djur och titta aldrig in i laserstrålen även om
du står på längre avstånd.

• Skydda krysslasern mot väta och ihållande solljus.
• Utsätt inte krysslasern för extrema temperaturer eller snabba temperaturväxlingar. Lämna den
t.ex. inte i bilen under en längre period. Vid extrema temperaturer eller vid snabba temperatur-
växlingar kan krysslaserns precision påverkas.
• Undvik att utsätta krysslasern för kraftiga stötar eller slag. Om krysslasern skadas kan noggrann-
heten påverkas. Om krysslasern utsatts för en kraftig stöt ska laserlinjen kontrolleras mot
kända lodräta resp. vågräta referenslinjer.
• Stäng av krysslasern före transport. När den är avstängd är nivelleringssystemet låst för att
undvika att det skadas.
Automatisk nivellering
1. Placera krysslasern på lämplig plats (fristående eller på stativ).
2. Ställ skjutreglaget [ON/OFF] (4) i läge ON. Laserstrålen visas på ytan som laserfönstret är
riktad mot och indikatorn för automatisk nivellering (2) lyser grönt.
Obs! Om krysslasern lutar mer än 4° lyser indikatorn för automatisk nivellering med rött sken,
laserstrålen blinkar och automatisk nivellering slås av. Räta upp krysslasern, automatisk nivel-
lering slås på igen.
3. Tryck upprepade gånger på [ ] för att välja hur laserlinjen ska projiceras: vågrätt, lodrätt eller
som kryss.
4. Ställ skjutreglaget [ON/OFF] i läge OFF för att stänga av krysslasern.
Obs!
• Slå alltid av krysslasern efter avslutad nivellering eller innan den flyttas till en ny position.
När du slår av aktiveras krysslaserns låsfunktion vilket skyddar nivelleringsmekanismen.
• Vid vibrationer och lägesförändringar under användning nivelleras krysslasern åter automatiskt.
Kontrollera efter ny nivellering laserstrålens vågräta eller lodräta inriktning mot en referens-
punkt för att undvika felmätning.
Låst laserlinje
Du kan låsa laserlinjen (stänga av automatisk nivellering) och vrida krysslasern manuellt till valfri vinkel.
1. Ställ skjutreglaget [ON/OFF] i läge OFF.
2. Tryck [ ] för att slå på lasern. Indikatorn för automatisk nivellering lyser med rött sken.
3. Tryck upprepade gånger på [ ] för att välja hur laserlinjen ska projiceras: vågrätt, lodrätt,
som kryss eller om den ska slås av.
Skötsel och underhåll
• Slå alltid av krysslasern före rengöring, förflyttning och avslutad nivellering.
• Rengör krysslasern med en lätt fuktad trasa. Använd ett milt rengöringsmedel, aldrig lösnings-
medel eller frätande kemikalier.
• Hantera krysslasern varsamt, det är ett optiskt precisionsinstrument.
• Utsätt inte krysslasern för stötar, vibrationer, extremt höga eller låga temperaturer.
• Ta ut batterierna och förvara krysslasern inomhus på en torr och dammfri plats, utom räckhåll
för barn, om den inte ska användas under en längre period.

Felsökningsschema
Krysslasern går inte att slåpå. Kontrollera batteriernas kapacitet och se till att de
sitter rätt i batterihållaren. Se märkningen i botten på
batterihållaren.
Laserlinjen blinkar vid
självnivellering.
Krysslasern lutar för mycket (mer än 4°).
Räta upp den.
Krysslasern stängs av efter några
sekunders användning.
Batterierna är förbrukade. Byt batterier.
Laserlinjen syns dåligt. • Kontrollera batterierna, byt vid behov.
• Kontrollera laserfönstret, rengör med en mjuk trasa vid
behov.
• För starkt omgivande ljus.
Avfallshantering
Denna symbol innebär att produkten inte får kastas tillsammans med annat
hushållsavfall. Detta gäller inom hela EU. För att förebygga eventuell skada på
miljö och hälsa, orsakad av felaktig avfallshantering,ska produkten lämnas till
återvinning så att materialet kan tas omhand på ett ansvarsfullt sätt. När du
lämnar produkten till återvinning, använd dig av de returhanteringssystem som
finns där du befinner dig eller kontakta inköpsstället. De kan se till att produkten
