Before Use:

• Beforeinang,ensuretherearenohazardsinyourworkingarea(broken

glass,metalscrews,thornsetc).Theproductisnotfragile,buttakingcarewill

ensurealongservicelifefortheproduct.

• Checkthevalvesforgritandforeignbodies-cleanasnecessary.

• Inate/topupproducttoensureitisatworkingpressureusingsuppliedhand

pumporacompressedaircylinderwithourrecommendedinaonkit/

regulatorassembly(ProductCode:SAF38038).

• Theproductisedwithpressurereliefvalves(PRV’s)toallchambers.Ideally

foropmumperformancetheproductshouldbeinatedtothecorrect

pressure,whichwillbereachedwhenthePRV’sstartto“BlowO”.Thiswill

alsoensuretheproducthasthemaximumbuoyancypossible.

• Whenfullyinated,checktheproductalloverforsignsofwearandtearand

repairifnecessary(Seenotesonrepairofinatables).

• Wheninuse,donotleaveindirectsunlightforprolongedperiodsofme.

Ifthisisunavoidable,itisadvisabletoslightlyreducethepressureinthe

chambersbygentlyreleasingairfromtheC7inaonvalves.Thiscanbe

achievedbyundoingtheprotecvecoverandplacingangeronthecentral

spigotandgentlypushopenthevalvetoreducethepressure.

C7valvesareopenedandclosedbydepressingthecentralspigotandtwisng

an-clockwiseandclockwiserespecvely.

Toremovecaptwistan-clockwise. Toopenpushincentralcrossspigot,

twistan-clockwise.(Shouldstayopen)

Toclosepushincentralcrossspigot,

twistclockwise

Replacecap.

Storeclosedsostopingressofwater.

A6 Pressure Relief valves:

Thesevalvesrequirenointeracon.Theyshouldonlyacvatewhenthechamber

isatthecorrectpressure.Ensurethevalvesarenotblockedorcovered.

C7andA6valvescaneasilybereplacedwiththeuseoftheValvespanner

Annual Maintenance:

Inaon Test

• Inatetotherecommendedpressureandleaveinatedfor24hourscheck

pressure.Allowfortemperatureandatmosphericpressurechange.

Visual Inspecon

• Checkforanysignsof“Wear&Tear”andrepair/patchasnecessary.

• Makesureyougluedownedgesoflooserepairpatches.

• Cleanwithwaterandamilddetergent.Donotaempttouseharshsolvents

withoutexpertadvice.

Repair of Inatable product:

Ifyourproductbecomestornorpunctured:-

• Findthepuncture,largetearsandholeswillbeeasytond,smallerpinholes

maybelessobviousandcanbefoundusingsoapywaterandapaintbrushor

sponge.Theleakingpinholewillproducesoapbubblesquitereadily.

• Ifpuncture/teariswithin1”ofaseamcontactSafequipLtdforprofessional

advice.

• Makesurethatthesurroundingareaiscleananddry,preferably24hours

beforestarngtherepairwork.

• Prepareapatchfromtherepairmaterialprovided,atleast50mmlargerinall

direconsthantheareaofdamage.

• Thoroughlyrubdownthesurroundingareaandthebackofthepatchwiththe

mediumabrasivepaperprovided.

• Applyathinlayerofadhesivetobothsurfacesandallowtodrycompletely

(20-30minutes).

• Applyasecondcoatandwhenalmostdryplacethepreparedsurfaces

incontactandpresstogetherrmly,rubbingdownwithasmoothhard

objectsuchasthebackofaspoonoranarrowroller.Rubfromthecentre,

outwards,makingsuretoremoveallairbubbles.

• Leaveforatleast24hoursbeforeuse.

• Cleanoanyexcessadhesiveroundthepatch,asthiswilltendtogobrown

withexposuretosunlight.
