It is essential that you read all the information carefully before you assemble and use the
Voyager® Compact.
Once assembled ensure that you leave it to stand for an hour before the user is allowed into the
Voyager® Compact.
If you misplace this information, please do not hesitate to contact us for a free replacement.
When it comes to returning the Voyager® Compact package up the bags in the boxes that they
originally came in.
PLEASE NOTE: IF FOR ANY REASON YOU PASS THE VOYAGER® COMPACT ON SECOND-HAND, YOU
MUST MAKE SURE THAT THE NEW OWNERS RECEIVE ALL THE CONTENTS OF THIS PACK.

Voyager® Compact
A compact, easily transportable sleep areafor respite, holidays and trips away
The Voyager® Compactprovides a safe, low-stimulation
environment, in which a person can settle at night.The soft,
ex out walls andoor mean there are no hard surfaces inside,
reducing the risk of injury.
Its free-standing structure consists of a robust, but lightweight,
aluminium frame, requiring a clearance of 30cm (12”) from any
hard surface.

Assembly Instructions
The Voyager® Compact comes in two carry cases.
One bag contains the Voyager® Compact poles including:
6x Female round horizontal poles (4x bottom vertical
poles and2x horizontal poles)
4x Male round horizontal poles
4x Top verticals with straps
4x Corner pieces - 2 with brackets that pair up as shown
(Please note that the 4 corner pieces colours may vary
from picture shown)
The other bag contains:
1x Voyager® Compact fabric (rolled up)
1x Inatable mattress
1x Foot pump

Step 1 - Assembling the base
Unroll the Voyager® Compact fabric roughly where youwant
to put the Voyager® Compact in the room,checking that the
door isfacing out into the room.
Give yourself plenty of space to work round it.
Pull out the side pole pockets along the sides of the fabric and
undo the velcro aps at each end.
Take one female and two male horizontal pole.
Slot them together, making sure that the female is the middle of the three poles.

Slide the connected poles into the side pockets along each side of the fabric at the base, leaving
equal amounts of pole sticking out at each end.
Take the corner pieces and position them together in pairs at each end of the Voyager®
Compactfabric.
One with a bracket and one without.
Face the rubber feet at each end down onto the oor.

Slot all the corner pieces onto the ends of the long horizontal
poles till they ‘clunk’ into position.
Lift the corner pieces up in the middle and slot the shorter piece under and into the bracket of
the other.
Push down gently tilat and repeat at the other end.
Fasten up the Velcro aps around the joined-up end bars.
The base of the Voyager® Compact is now assembled.

Step 2 - Assembling the upright poles
Take the 4x bottom vertical poles and push them into the vertical corner slots.
Slot the 4x poles with straps into the upright poles with the straps facing inwards, towards the
centre of the Voyager® Compact.
Make sure the silver camlock buckles are at the top of the poles.
Please note: the poles are designed to lean outwards at this stage.

Making sure there are no twists on the strap, clip together the trigger hook and the D ring on
the corner of the Voyager® Compact fabric so they are securely hooked together.
Repeat on all 4 corner.
Pull down on the straps about halfway - to pull the
VoyagerCompact but not fully at this stage.

Step 3 - Fitting the mattress
Undo the oor zip and place the deated mattress into the
pocket.
Un-clip the hose from around the pump and screw it into the
pump (hole marked ‘out’).
Put the nozzle onto the other end of the hose, put the nozzle
into the mattress and pump up.
Inate the mattress and re-do the oor zip.
