Welcome
We hope that you enjoy your ne ST200, and that you find it
both practical and easy to use. ST200 uses GPS (Global
Positioning System) to track its location and GSM cellular
service to send telemetry to the eb-based tracking server.
Your report frequency ill depend upon the service option you
have chosen. Your personal eb account may be accessed at
. orldtrackingsolutions.com and holds your tracking maps,
reports, and other information for 120 days.
Getting Started
Your ST200 as shipped ready to use. Simply po er on the
unit using the s itch on the left hand side. If you are in an area
ith good visibility to the sky, the GPS LED should begin to
flash according to the chart belo :
LED Definitions

We recommend you make a test run by placing the device
directly on the dash of your vehicle. Make sure that the GPS
LED indicator is blinking at the rate of “Fast Blink 2”, (.1 second
on and 2.9 seconds off). If it is blinking at a different speed,
that may be an indication that the unit has not been able to
sync up ith the satellites.
GPS satellite signals are transmitted to varying degrees through
glass, fiberglass, plastics, and many other fabrics and
materials. ST200 generally orks ell hen placed in a glove
compartment, under the dash, or passenger seat of a vehicle.
ST200 cannot “see” through metal. The device ill not be able
to obtain a ne location fix if placed in an area largely enclosed
by metal, such as in the trunk or under the hood.
Once you have made your test run, you are ready to vie your
reports online. Using an Internet Explorer eb bro ser, go to
. orldtrackingsolutions.com. Click on the “Login” button,
and then click on the picture of your device to log in. You need
to check to be sure that all pop up blockers have been disabled
for the tracking site. The maps and data tables are generated
using pop-up indo s and ill not display if you have not
disabled all pop-up blockers. You ill also need to enable third
party cookies and JavaScript in order for the site to function
correctly.
Once you have disabled the pop-up blockers, use the Account,
Username and Pass ord included to sign onto your account. To
see your tracks, select “Vehicle Map” under the Mapping tab. If
you have only one vehicle, the current day’s tracking ill be
displayed immediately. If you have multiple vehicles, you may
need to select the appropriate vehicle from the list.

Initial Installation
GSM Cellular Ser ice Reporting
ST200 uses the GSM cell phone net ork to send its reports to
the tracking system, so its ability to connect to the internet is
limited by the coverage of this net ork. Coverage in populated
areas is generally very good, but can be limited in remote
regions.
Battery Mode Operation
The device ill po er do n during long periods ithout motion.
The unit ill automatically po er back up hen motion is
detected, but there ill be a lag bet een po er up and the first
report from the device. This delay can range bet een 2 and 15
minutes depending upon the GPS signal strength.
Extended Life Battery Pack
If you have purchased an optional extended life battery pack
for your ST200, please ensure that it is fully charged before
use. It can be charged in the follo ing ays:
1. To charge the device only: Connect the device to the
included USB cable and plug it into the all or car
chargers.
2. To charge the battery pack only: Connect the battery
pack to the included USB cable and plug it into the all
or car chargers.
3. To charge the device and battery at the same time:
Connect the battery pack to the USB port on the device.
Then, connect the included USB cable from the USB port
on the battery pack to the all or car chargers. This ill
charge the device first and then the battery pack.
The extended life battery pack ill charge in 4-6 hours and ill
provide up to 24 hours of motion on a full charge. Combined
ith the device’s internal battery, you may expect to see 36
- 6 -
hours of motion total. This estimate may vary depending on
signal strength, temperature, and age of the battery.
Troubleshooting
The de ice is reporting, but the reported address is not
correct.
The most likely cause is a eak GPS satellite signal. This
problem can most often be remedied by moving the device to
an alternate location ithin the vehicle. Check the GPS LED to
see if it is flashing the “fast blink 2” (.1 seconds on, 2.9
seconds off).
The de ice is in motion but I don’t see any reports.
Your tracker might have a lo battery. Check the tracking for a
lo battery notification. If this is not the case, please retrieve
the unit and verify that the po er s itch is in the “on” position.
If the unit is charged and po ered on but still not sending any
reports, please contact customer service for further
troubleshooting steps.
According to the LEDs, the de ice is unable to get GPS,
e en under perfect GPS conditions.
The device may need to be reset. To reset the unit, turn off the
po er s itch and unplug the extended life battery pack (if one
is in use) for one minute, then reinstall and retest.
Do’s and Don’ts with your ST200
Do
Place your ST200 here it ill have a clear line of sight to the
sky and receive a fix from the GPS satellites. Concealed
devices may give you fe er location fixes than devices left in
the open. Sometimes a slight adjustment in location can make
a big difference in the reporting quality.

- 7 -
Locations that tend to provide good reporting:
• In the glove compartment
• Under the passenger seat
• Under the package shelf in the rear indo
• Inside a fiberglass bumper (not metal bumper)
• On the dashboard (remove on hot, sunny days)
• In the rear indo (remove on hot, sunny days)
Locations that may reduce reporting quality:
• In the trunk (Hatchbacks/SUV’s may be OK)
• Completely underneath the vehicle
• Inside the engine compartment (extreme heat)
• In the heel ell ( ater spray)
• Inside buildings or garages
• In direct sunlight for extended periods (extreme heat)
Don’t
Don’t use your ST200 in prohibited areas that restrict ireless
or t o- ay radio usage. Using your ST200 in prohibited areas
may be illegal and/or dangerous. These areas can include
hospitals, blasting sites, and in or near aircraft. Generally
speaking, if you enter an area here cell phones are prohibited,
you should turn off your tracking device.
Don’t place your ST200 over the airbag in the vehicle. If the
airbag deploys, this could cause significant injury. Don’t block
the device ith metal. ST200 ill not get a satellite fix or be
able to report the location hen the GPS signal is blocked by a
metal obstruction.
Yes, it is OK to…
Place the device inside a covering, to protect it. You may use
plastic or paper.
Attach the device ith magnets. A magnetic eatherproof case
is available for ST200 for this purpose.
Attach the device ith duct tape or other industrial quality
adhesive.
- 8 -
Things to Remember
ST200 needs to “see” the GPS satellites in order to report the
location. If the device is not generating accurate GPS readings
hile in motion, it may be an indication that your ST200 cannot
communicate ith the GPS satellites.
The device ill po er do n during long periods ithout motion.
The unit ill automatically po er back up hen motion is
detected, but there ill be a lag bet een po er up and the first
report from the device. This delay ill be entirely dependent
upon the GPS signal strength.
The device needs to have cellular coverage in order to send
reports. If the device travels to a rural area ith no cell
coverage, it ill not be able to report, but ill automatically
transmit its tracking history hen it reconnects to cellular
service.
Areas that are mountainous, heavily forested, or streets ith
many high rise buildings may have interference.

FAQs
Where can I use ST200?
Vehicles: ST200 orks ell in a variety of vehicles including
boats, trailers, RVs and automobiles. Materials that do not
impede ST200’s visibility (provided they are relatively thin)
include fiberglass, plastics, most composite materials, and
glass. Metal ill reduce the device’s ability to find its location.
Good locations to try include a glove compartment, a side map
box or under the dash.
Regional Considerations: Depending upon your service
option, ST200 can be used any here in North America here
GSM service is available. While coverage is improving almost
daily, some of the more remote regions may not have adequate
coverage to operate the device.
How long will the batteries last?
A fully charged unit ill typically last bet een 1 and 2 days,
depending upon ho much motion the device is experiencing.
The unit only updates its position hen in motion and ill
po er do n to conserve battery po er hen not in motion for
extended periods of time. Turning off the unit hen not in use
ill also conserve battery life.
Will ST200 work inside of a garage?
Probably not. While ST200 is able to “see” through many
common materials used to build vehicles (i.e. rubber, plastic,
glass, fiberglass, and most composite materials), the
combination of a garage ceiling and roof are generally enough
to keep ST200 from establishing a location fix.
What is the Reporting Frequency of ST200?
ST200 is programmed to report at an interval of 5 minutes, or
a maximum report rate interval as prescribed by your
subscription level.
- 10 -
Can I change the reporting frequency of my ST200?
Yes. To upgrade your subscription to a faster interval, please
contact customer service at +1.512.542.9668.
Which Browsers can I use with ST200?
ST200 has been verified to ork ith Internet Explorer, Mozilla
Firefox, and Safari. Using any other internet bro ser may lead
to unexpected results.
Why is my unit showing my location as Austin, TX?
Until the unit successfully sends in its first location report from
your area, it ill sho its location as being at our test facility in
Austin Texas, as this ill have been the last successful location
fix it achieved before being shipped to you.
Is it legal to use ST200 in my area?
Due to the ide variability of state and local regulations, our
company is unable to provide legal advice for a particular
application of ST200 in any given jurisdiction. It is up to the
user to understand and comply ith the la s and regulations of
their area.
How do I check the battery le el?
The battery in your ST200 ill last for approximately 12 hours
of motion. When the battery is lo , the “po er” led on the left
side of the unit ill begin to flash “fast blink 1” (every .1
second). You ill also receive a battery lo report on your
tracking site. Once you have received this report, it is important
to charge the battery as soon as possible to avoid any loss of
service.
I cannot log into my account, what’s wrong?
