PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS
To pair your remote control with a radio-frequency device, point it to the device from a distance of 1 to 2 metres.
Please remember, only one remote control can be paired at a time.
Pairing with a device built into the ceiling
In an upright position, if paired with a device built into the ceiling (PCD7.L66D-MC72V)
Pairing with a device built into a suspended metallic ceiling
Where the suspended ceiling is made of metal, the
pairing distance is shorter, less than 30 cm.
If a suspended ceiling is added after the pairing has
been completed, the connection between the remote
and the multi-sensor might be lost.
Once pairing is complete, the connection will be
maintained at distances of up to 7 m or more in the
presence of suspended metallic ceilings.

1. Pairing Menu
Connect the radio-frequency device to your regulator’s DALI network
Turn on the remote control unit by pressing the “occupation” button
Press the following 2 buttons simultaneously: “light” and “occupation”
The pairing menu should come on
The distance [between the remote control unit and the pairing device] should be between 1 and
2 metres
The remote control unit should be in an upright or horizontal position as indicated in the above
diagram
Start the pairing by pressing the OK button
oThe remote control unit searches for devices situated at a distance of 3 to 4 metres
oAll MCs responding to the remote control unit will have their green LED lit
oOnce the search is completed (approximately 10 s), use the ± buttons to select a device and press OK to
confirm (the selected device should have the RSSI which is closest to zero)
If the device is flashing: (only applicable to PCD7.L66D-MC72V)
oIf the device’s LED is flashing red and green: press the OK button
oIf not, press the RET button and select another device using the ± button
oIf none of the devices detected is the one you wish to connect to, press on “Occupation” again
(this function might not be available in all remote control versions)
At the end of pairing
oIf pairing is successful, “pairing OK” will be displayed on the screens: press OK to confirm
oIf pairing is not successful, the screen will display “pairing NOK”: press the RET button to try again
Before you can pair with a new device, existing pairing configurations must be cleared from
both the remote control unit and the MC device.
2. Clearing the pairing memory
Connect the radio-frequency device to your regulator’s DALI network
Turn on the remote control unit by pressing the “occupation” button
Press the + and – buttons simultaneously and hold them for 1 second
The sign “!” will appear in the top left corner of the screen
Press the + and – buttons simultaneously again and hold them for 1 second
The “config BA” menu will be displayed
Press the “light” and “temperature” buttons simultaneously
Select “config Radio” from the menu, using the + and – buttons and press OK to confirm
Select the “Delete AC” menu using the + and – buttons and press OK to confirm
oThe remote control unit searches for devices situated at a distance of 3 to 4 metres.
oOnce the search is completed (approximately 10 s), you can select the desired device by using the ± keys.
Press OK to confirm.
oIf the device is flashing:
If the device starts to flash: press the OK button
If not, press the RET button and select another device using the ± button
