GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The MDR16 is a sixteen-channel mixer, with sixteen low
noise microphone pre-amps, four output buses and a built-
in 24 BIT, DSP effects processor. The MDR16 features
eight mono Mic/Line input channel strips with a three-band,
mid-sweep equalizer plus a low cut filter. These channels
also offer two auxiliary sends that can be used for creating
a monitor mix and for routing your signals to effects
processors. The mono channels also feature a pan control for
creating a stereo image, bus output assign switches, insert
points for external processing and a 60mm fader for setting
the level. In addition to the mono inputs, there are eight
channels set up as Stereo/Dual mono inputs with two-band
equalizer, switchable aux send, pan, a utility mic input and
60mm faders. The MDR16's master section includes two
stereo auxiliary returns for mixing back external and internal
effects and individual controls for mixing back the DSP effect
to BUS 1 & 2, BUS 3 & 4 and even to AUX 1 to add effects
to your monitor mix. The MDR16 features a nine-band stereo
graphic equalizer allowing you to contour the frequency
response of your speaker system. In order to get the most
gain before feedback when running a monitor mix, you can
assign the graphic equalizer to the Aux 1 output. The MDR16
features a mono output with level control, four 60mm bus
output faders for sub mixing and a 60mm stereo master
fader. Optimized for recording, live sound reinforcement
and commercial installations; the MDR16 is an ideal mixer
solution offering big sound in a compact package.
FEATURES
> Sixteen channels – Eight Mic/Line plus four Stereo/Dual
inputs with mic pre’s for a total of 16 microphone inputs.
> On-board 24 BIT, DSP (Digital Signal Processor) multi-
effects processor with eight great sounding presets
including REVERB, DELAY, and CHORUS.
> Stereo nine-band Graphic Equalizer with LED frequency
band indicators and flexible routing for either main or
monitor mix, for maximum gain before feedback.
> Flexible signal routing via the 1 / 2 bus outputs, 3 / 4 bus
outputs, main Left and Right Mix, as well as the Mono output.
> 60 mm audio taper faders on all channels and the master
1 / 2, 3 / 4 and Mix outputs.
