When the refrigeratoris stopped, the
electrical components suchas main control
panel, startup relayand heat protectorwill
have clicking orbubbling sounds suddenly
due to theirconnection or disconnection.
When the refrigeratoris running, dueo
the variation oftemperature differences,
the foods arebroken or theevaporator
and pipes havecracking sounds because
of their contractionand expansion.
When the compressoris running, the
sound is slightlyhigh during thestartup.
The high-efficient refrigeratorhas quite
higher sound when the compressor is
working strongly. When youhear the low
motor sounds, itis the soundcaused by
the freezing fanto keep thetemperature
regular. Itis not afault.
The temperature inthe refrigerator can
drop rapidly onlyby the circulationof
refrigerant in thepipeline. The
refrigerant can begas or liquid.The low
sound may beheard during thecirculation.
The refrigerator isnot positioned inlevel.

Do not useinflammable aerosols suchas spray paintand
dope near thefreezer/refrigerator. Otherwise,there will be

Do not storecorrosive, inflammable andexplosive, strong
acid or alkalisubstances such asbutane, ether,vitriol,
benzene, and alcohol.Bottles containing liquidfoods also
shall not bestored in thefreezer; otherwise thebottles may

If the appliance isdisconnected from the powersupply, you
should wait for atleast five minutes beforereconnecting the
power to avoid damagingthe compressor.
: Ifthe flexible powercord isdamaged, it mustbe
repaired byspecial tools.Thus, it mustbe replaced
by therepair store appointedby themanufacturer.
If the refrigeratorcan not worknormally or isdamaged, do
not continue usingit. Pull outthe power plugand contact the
local service centerimmediately.If the powercord is
damaged, to avoidany accident, itmust be replacedby

Do not splashwater on thetop or backof the refrigeratorto
avoid reducing theinsulation effectsof the appliance.

remove the doorseals.

Simply Type:
1. Take down HIGNEUPP and SHAFT-HINGE and installthem at theopposite side ofthe
HING-UPP.Takedown COVER DOORUPP and fridgedoor.
2. Take down SCREWA, SCREWE and MIDHINGE, and thenthe refrigerator door. Take down
CAP HINGE HOLE,CAP SCREW CABIand SCREW F. Then fixthem at right.
3. Gently inclinethe appliance inless than 45degree, remove theright side FOOT, and unfasten
the SCREW D.Takedown HINGE LOW, FIXER HINGELOW , and
STOPPER HINGE LOW. Reverse andfix STOPPER HINGELOW with FIXERHINGE LOW to
the left ofHINGE LOW and .
4. Take down leftFOOT and unfastenSCREW D. Take down andfix REINF tothe right. Theninstall
FOOT.
5. Take down SCREWG and STOPPERDOOR in thefridge and freezerdoors and installthem at
the left ofthe doors. Take down CAPHOLE DOOR andCAP SPACER DOOR andfix them at
the left ofthe doors,
6. Fix MIDHINGE with SCREWAand SCREW E,and install thefreezer door.Fix left HINGE-
LOW and installFOOT.Put the refrigeratorstable and installthe fridge andfreezer doors. Fix
HINGE UPP withSCREW A.

1 .Take down the SCREWB which is fixingthe COVER TOP
FRONT and then COVERTOP FRONT. Pull out thewire inserts.
Takedown COVER HINGE UPPR and fridge door. Take downd and fix
SHAFT-HINGE to theopposite side of HINGEUPP. Takedown
CAP HOLE TOPat COVER TOPFRONT and installit
on the right ofCOVER TOPFRONT.
2. Take down SCREWA, SCREW E andMID HINGE of thefixing hinge and thenfreezer door.Take
down CAP HINGE HOLE,CAP SCREW CABIand SCREW F atleft and install themat right.
3. Gently incline theappliance in less than45 degree, remove theright FOOT andunfasten SCREW
D. Take down right HINGELOW. Thentake down FIX HINGELOW, and STOPPER
HINGE LOW. ReverseSTOPPER HINGE LOWand fix it tothe left of HINGELOW with
FIXER HINGE LOWand .
4. Take down the leftFOOT and unfastenSCREW D. Take down and fixREINF to the right. Then fix
FOOT.
5.Takeoff the SCREWG and STOPPERDOORin the freezer doorand install them atthe left of the
door. Take off CAPHOLEDOOR, CAP SCREWHANDLE, SCREW C, HANDLE UPP, HANDLE BAR,
HANDLE LOW, CAPHANDLE, and CAPSPACER DOOR,and install them atthe right of thedoor.
Install CAP HOLEDOOR onthe left of thedoor.
6.Install the freezer's door, and fix MIDHINGE with SCREWA andSCREW E. Fix therefrigerator's
door with SCREWA andHINGE UP L.
7.Fix the wire insertsproperly. InstallCOVER HINGE UPPL and coverit with COVER DOORUPP.
8.Install COVER TOPFRONT and finallyfasten SCREW B.

Safety Precautions
When comparing the appliance with other refrigerators, please refer to the model and
number;
Before the appliance is connected to the power, verify if voltage rating of the refrigerator is
same to the power voltage. The voltage can be variable from 187V to 240V; if the power
voltage can not meet the requirements, an automatic transformer with a minimum output of
500W shall be used.
If the appliance is disconnected from the power, you should wait for at least five minutes
before reconnection; otherwise there may be a hazard to the compressor.
Do not store food close to the temperature sensor; otherwise it may display wrong
temperatures.
Do not open and close the door too frequently or for a long time during hot weather;
otherwise it may affect the efficiency of the entire unit and burden the appliance with
excessive load.
Do not leave the refrigerator upside down or horizontal or keep inclined over 45 degree to
the ground if necessary;
Do not pull or push the appliance by holding the door handles or exert too much upward/
downward forces on the door handle;
If a lot of hot foods are stored at the same time or the door is opened frequently or kept open
for a long period of time, the internal temperature will rise and the temperature display may
flash. It will be recovered normal after a period of stable operation;
The refrigerator must be located with an easy access to the power supply.
1.Removeall the packingmaterials of thecomponents,
anddo remove thefoam pad underthe refrigerator
duringthe operation;
2.Cleanthe interior andexterior of therefrigerator with
wetwarm cloth (addlittle neutral detergentin the warm
water).
3.thepower plug canbe connected aroundone hour after the
refrigeratoris positioned stable,pleasemake the approciate
operationswith careful referenceto the pageof control panel
introduction.
Preparing the appliance for use
Caution
The cooling effects originates fromrefrigerant that is filled through
special process. Please ensure the pipesin the rear are intact.
Alert
This appliance adopts R600a refrigerantwhich is combustible.
During transportation and installation, pleasehandle the appliance carefully
to protect the cooling systemfrom damage.
- To avoid the combustible gascomposed of the refrigerant leakedfrom the cooling circuit andthe air,
please select the room sizeto accommodate t he appliance accordingto the refrigerant quantity.
The room size shall becalculated as per the criterionof 8g R600a per squaremetres.
For details of the refrigerantquantity, please referto the manual.
- Do not start theappliance that has any damage.If any problems, please contactthe dealer or
service centre.
The refrigarant leaked from thepipe may catch fire orhurt your eyes. If refrigerantleakage occurs,
please keep away the fireor potential fire source, andkeep the room aired forseveral minutes.

Your refrigerator should beput in a solid and level place.
The adjusting leg on the bottom of the refrigerator shall be
turned to adjust its horizontal location if not level. (lifting it
up counterclockwise)
The distance between the wall and rear or sides of the
refrigerator should not be less than 55 cm and the top
clearance shall not be less than 55cm.
Keep the appliance away from any heat sources and avoid
the direct sunlight.
The appliance should not be put in a humid environment to
avoid that its metal parts become rusty or their insulation
effects get reduced. In case of any natural disasters (i.e.
storm, accident), if the refrigerator has been soaked in
water, you should go to the appointed local SAMSUNG
service centre for repair. You can use it again only when
you make sure if there is no problem.
For the safety concerns, the refrigerator must be earthed
correctly and shall not be earthed through telephone wire
or gas pipe.
Do not have the power cord pressed by any object.

Insert the (+)screw driver intothe lamp coverfrom

Turnthe new bulbclockwise.
Put the lampcover back intothe slot. Fastenthe
screw back atthe back ofthe lamp cover.

Youwill hear a Ding sound when youpress the button,then the current

2 , 1 , 7 , 6 , 5 , 4 ,3 , every timeonce you pressthe button;
Every time youpress the button,you will heara Ding sound;

temperature;
In Vacation Mode, therefrigerator temperature willnot be displayed.If you
press the RefrigeratorTemperature Setting button,the appliance will

Maintenance andCleaning
Remove all the shelf, guards, box, covers, and drawer, and
clean them with a wet warm cloth.
For interior accessories:
Door Seal:
Clean the doorseal carefully; thechopstick wrapped with
cotton wool maybe used toclean the grooves.
It shall bewiped offif being cleanedwith water.
Receiving Water Pan:
Loosen the screwin the middleof the compressorcover.
Pull out alittle and liftthe pan upto take itout.
Clean it upbefore putting itback.
Unplug the appliancebefore you cleanit;
Make sure thereis no waterentering the lampcover;
It isbetter touse neutraldetergent toclean therefrigerator.
The glass shelf is aremovable accessory and relatively heavy.
Please prevent the children from moving it to avoid any injury.
If the refrigerator isnot installed level, itmay cause abnormalnoise;
For the initial startup of the appliance, itwill takea period of timefor the machineto
cool downfrom the ambienttemperature to aset temperature. It isusually 3 hours
before the appliance can work normally.

Keep ventilation openings,in the applianceenclosure or inthe build-in structure,
clear of obstruction.
Do not use mechanicaldevices or other meansto accelerate the defrostingprocess,
other than thoserecommended by themanufacturer.
Do not damage therefrigerant circuit.
Do not useelectrical appliances insidethe food storagecompartments of the
appliance, unless theyare of thetype recommended bythe manufacturer.
This appliance isnot intended foruse by persons(including children) withreduced
physical, sensory or mentalcapabilities, or lack ofexperience and knowledge, unless
they have beengiven supervision orinstruction concerning useof the applianceby a
person responsible for theirsafety.

4. Vacation FunctionButton
4-1.Once you pressthe vacation functionbutton, the refrigeratorwill be shiftedto
the vacation mode.The refrigeratorwill be turnedoff andthe refrigerator
temperature lamp willalso be off. You will see Vacation lamp turned on.
4-2.In vacation mode,if you pressthe temperature settingbutton, the appliance
will quit fromthe current mode.The refrigeratortemperature will becontrolled
according to theset temperature.
4-3.If you pressvacation function buttonagain, the refrigeratorwill be turnedon
and the temperaturedisplay lamp willbe on.The refrigerator's temperaturewill
be Controlled accordingto the settemperature before thevacation mode isoff.
5. Super Freeze Button
5-1.Press Super Freeze button, the refrigerator will be shifted to SuperFreeze mode,
then the Super Freeze lamp willbe on;
5-2.Press Super Freeze button again, you will quit from the superfreeze mode or the
appliance will automatically quit from the superfreeze mode 2.5 hours later;
5-3.When the appliance is in thesuper freeze mode, the refrigerator temperature is
controlled according to its set temperature.Freezer temperature can be set, butits
Actual control shallstart after the refrigerator quits fromsuper freeze mode.

When you pressthe alarm button,the door alarmwill be off, the
lamp will beoff. Theappliance will notalarm when thedoor is leftopen;

3-1.Youcan set thefreezer temperature bypressing the freezerTemperature
button.
3-2.Press the temperaturesetting button, youwill hear the Ding sound.
The freezersetting temperature willdisplay the currentset temperature.
Every time youpress the button,the temperature willbe changed ina
sequence of-20 , -21 , -22 , -23 , -24 , -25 , -14 , -15 , -16 , -17 ,
-18 , -19 , -20 .

3-4.5 seconds afteryou press thebutton, the temperatureyou set willbe
confirmed. Thescreen will thendisplay the currenttemperature before you
set the newone.

Food storageinstructions
Stored food shouldbe wrapped withthe fresh bag,film
or put inthe food containerswith covers toavoid the
foods from beingdried or smellaffected.
Hot foods anddrinks should becooled to theroom
temperature before theyare put intothe refrigerator.
Cooked and uncookedfoods should bestored separately.
Stored foods should not be placed too compact to ensure
that there is enough space for good cool air circulation.
Air vent at the rearshould not beblocked.
Caution: 1. Do notplace thefood close to the
temperature sensor;
2. Food or container should not be
against the rear wall.
It is betterto store thefood by dividingthem
into small pieces.
It is betterto wash thewashable foods suchas fruits
or vegetables beforestorage.
Tropicalfruits such asbananas and pineapplesshall not
be stored inthe refrigerator;
Articles that have strict requirements for the temperatures
such as blood serum, vaccine,or academicmaterials shall
not be stored in the refrigerator.
Fruits and vegetables shall be stored inthe fresh
fruit drawer tokeep their water contents and
freshness.

First Power-on and Temperature Adjustment
When the appliance is connected with the power for the first time , all the displays will be on
for 2 seconds. The refrigerator temperature will be automatically set at 3 while the freezer
temperature will be set at -20 . The door opening alarm is on while the refrigerator and
freezer temperatures are displayed.
You mayset the inside temperatures according to your actualrequirements.
8. Door OpenAlarm function
8-1.In the Door OpenAlarm function,if you open thedoor for a longperiod of time,
the refrigerator will give off DeeDee sound at intervals toRemind you of
closing thedoor.
