BACKUPSYSTEM
The RS-330 featuresabuilt-insupercapacitorbackup systemtoretainalarm
settingsand station presetsforup toone hourwhen the unitisunplugged or
powerislost. The clock alsocontinuestokeep time,asaccuratelyaswhen
connected tothe power.It will takeatleasttwohoursafterplugging in,beforethe
backup systemisfunctional.
Pleasenotethatthe backup systemretainsonlythe radioand clock settings.It
doesnotsupplyenough powertoilluminatethe displayorplaythe radio.
POSITIONING THERS-330
The RS-330 shouldbe placed whereitisnotexposed tohigh temperaturesor
humidity.

You maywanttoreposition the RS-330 and the RS-332 forthe bestsound.They
shouldbe aboutequallydistantfromyourusuallistening position.The fartheryou
separatethe RS-330 and RS-332,the morespaciousthe sound becomes.Plac-
ing eitherunitclosertoawall orcornerproducesmorebass.
Note:The powercordand extension cableshouldbe located whereitcannotbe
chewed bypetsortripped over.

RADIOOPERATION
Press the POWERON/OFF switchtoturnon the radio.Adjustthe VOLUME
controltoacomfortablelevel.Press POWERON/OFF asecond timetoturn
the radiooff.
The TREBLEand BASS controlscan be settotaste,ortomakethe
programmaterialsound better.Turning up the bass when listening atlowvolume
levelsgivesarichersound.Turning the controlstowardthe +markincreasesthe
trebleorbass.Turning themtowardthe _markdecreasesthe trebleorbass.
