•Guide the machine at a walking pace and move forward
slowly. Never run. Do not walk backwards while using the
machine to avoid falling over.
•While using the tool, keep the wire head in its normal working
position, under the deflector and parallel to the ground.
•Never leave the motor running unattended.
•Never start the petrol engine in enclosed areas where harmful
carbon monoxide gas might accumulate.
•To avoid the risk of explosion, do not use the petrol brush
cutter in areas where there are flammable materials such as
liquids, gas or dust.
•In order to avoid fire risk, do not start the machine close to
refuelling areas
WARNING: Some parts of the engine are very hot and can cause
severe burns. In particular, do not touch the motor or the exhaust
pipe.
2.4 After using the petrol brush cutter
•Before carrying out any maintenance, make sure that the Start/Stop switch
is in the STOP position, and check that the nylon spool has
completely stopped. Remove the spark plug cover.
•Do not transport the petrol brush cutter unless the engine is
stopped, the Start/Stop switch is in the STOP position and the
nylon spool has completely stopped.
•Remove any cutting debris and clean any dirt from the
thermal edge trimmer before putting it away.
•Always follow the maintenance instructions.
•After each use, check that the safety features are functioning properly, that
the cutting tool is firmly in place and that the parts remain in good condition.
•Maintain the tool and replace all worn or damaged parts.
•Only have your brush cutter repaired by qualified personnel and only use
original parts or those approved by SANLI UK.
•Keep the brush cutter clean and always store it unplugged, in
a dry place, out of the sun and out of reach of children.
•Keep this user manual in a safe place and consult it every time you use this
tool.
