How
to
use
check
position

Slide
battery
type
switch
to
Ni-MH
or
Ni-Cd.
Place
1
AA
or
1
AAA
size
battery
into
the
charger's
check
position
so
that
the
+
(positive)
and
-
(negative)
ends
(terminals)
of
the
batteries
correspond
to
the
same+
and
-
marking
in
the
charger.
2.
The
LED
charge
indicator
light
will
blink
red
for
about
5
seconds.
3.
The
LED
charge
indicator
light
will
then
display
the
remaining
capacity
of
the
battery
for
about
5
seconds
before
returning
to
normal
charging
mode.
•
If
the
LED
charge
indicator
light
displays
red-
The
remaining
capacity
of
the
battery
in
the
check
position
is
50%
or
less
.
•
If
the
LED
charge
indicator
light
displays
orange-
The
remaining
capacity
of
the
battery
in
the
check
position

between

80%.

If

LED

charging
and
turns
off
automatically
when
charging
is
complete.
HOW
TO
CHARGE
1.
Slide
battery
type
switch
to
Ni-MH
or
Ni-Cd.
Place
1
to
4
of
AA
or
1
to
2
of
AAA
size
batteries
into
the
charger
so
that
the
+
(positive)
and
-
(negative)
ends
(terminals)
of
the
batteries
correspond
to
the
same
+
and
-
marking
in
the
charger.
For
fastest
charging
time
of
1
to
2
AA
batteries,
insert
them
into
the
Quick
Charge
positions
(Figure
A).
For
charging
1
to
2
AAA
batteries,
use
center
positions
(Figure
B)
.
NOTICE
:
AA
and
AAA
batteries
should
not
be
charged
simultaneously.
Electrical
performances
are
not
guaranteed
when
AA
and
AAA
batteries
are
charged
together.
2.
Fold
out
foldaway
plug
and
insert
into
an
electrical
outlet
of
AC
100-240V.
The
LED
charge
indicator will
be
red,
and
battery
charging
begins.
(NOTE:
Do
not
insert
or
remove
batteries
during
this
charging
process).When
charging
is
complete
,
the

light
turns
off

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
•
Periodicall

the

(negative)
terminals
of
the
charger
and
batteries.
•
Wipe
the
metal
contacts
(terminals)
with a
dry
cloth
.
• Dirt
build-up
may
prevent batteries
from
being
charged.
•
The
charger
and
batteries
should
be
keep
clean
and
free
of
dirt
and
dust
at
all
times.
•
If
the
plastic
of
the
charger
becomes
dirty,
use
a
damp
cloth
to
remove
the
dirt
then
dry
with
a
dry
cloth.
Let
it
dry
completely
before
using.
Use
only
a
dry
cloth
for
charger's
metal
terminals
and
batteries.
Discharge:
Batteries
self-discharge
(lose
their
charge)
when
not
in
use.
Be
sure
to
charge
them
before
use.
Batteries
that
have
not
been
used
for
a
while
(about
a
month)
will
lose
some
of
their
charge.
This
is
not
a
malfunction.
In
this
case,
charge
and
then
discharge
the
batteries
2
or
3
times
before
using.
This
recharges
batteries
properly
when
they
haven't
been
used
for
a
long
time
.
Battery
Life:
Charging
and
then
discharging
is
possible
for
approx.
500
times,
depending
on
their
use
.

repair

adjustment

any
