
Cooler Cleaning
Instructions
Before you Begin: Identify Your Cooler. Have a look at the manufacturer’s sticker on the rear of your
cooler to determine which series cooler you have. For E & S Series, go to A. For R, P and G Series, go to B.
A: Crystal Mountain E & S Series
Cleaning Instructions:
1) Unplug and approach the cooler from the front.
2) Remove the bottle and drain any water in the
reservoir through the faucets.
3) Remove the locking pin from the Crystal Cone,
which may be stiff, requiring a tool. Use the finger-
tips of both hands to press on the Cone and turn
counter-clockwise until it is free from the cooler
opening.
4) Using fingers of both hands, loosen and remove
the insulation jacket covering the plastic reservoir
from the cooler opening by lifting it straight up
through the opening.
5) Remove the baffle cup by lifting straight out.
Loosen & remove the baffle stem and wing nut by
turning counterclockwise.
6) Remove tops of faucets by turning them counter
clockwise.
7) Remove the faucets from the reservoir elbows by
turning them counter clockwise.
8) Approach the cooler from the rear and open and
unhook the latch provided on the evaporator band.
9) Using both hands, loosen the reservoir from the
evaporator band and lift it straight through the
cooler opening.
10) Sanitize the reservoir, baffle, and faucet in the
dishwasher, or with the cooler cleaning kits avail-
able at SASI Spring Water.
11) To reinstall, reverse this procedure. (If you have

B: Crystal Mountain R, P & G Series
Cleaning Instructions:
1) Unplug and approach the cooler from the front.
2) Remove the bottle and drain any water in the
reservoir through the faucets.
3) Remove the locking pin from the Crystal Cone by
pressing with the fingertips of both hands and
turning it counter clockwise until it is free from the
cooler opening.
4) Using the fingers of both hands, loosen and
remove the insulation jacket covering the plastic
reservoir from the cooler opening.
5) Remove tops of faucets by turning them counter
clockwise.
6) Remove the faucets from the reservoir elbows by
turning them counter clockwise.
7) Approach the cooler from the rear and open and
unhook the latch provided on the evaporator band.
8) Using both hands, loosen the reservoir from the
evaporator band and lift it straight through the
cooler opening.
9) Sanitize the reservoir, baffle, and faucet in the
dishwasher, or with the cooler cleaning kits avail-
able at SASI Spring Water.
10) To reinstall, reverse this procedure. (If you have
