1x saxon stereo microscope
1x Wide field 10x eyepiece (pre-installed)
1x Contrast stage plate (pre-installed)
1x Dust cover
2. The saxon ScienceSmart Stereo Microscope 20x comes assembled out of the box and is ready

operating your microscope.
Operating the microscope
Getting started
1. Your microscope operates at a fixed 20x magnification and relies on ambient lighting to
illuminate the specimen being observed. It is therefore recommended to use the
microscope in a well-lit environment.
2. Place and align the specimen/object to the centre of the working stage and, where possible,
hold it down with the spring-loaded clips.
3. Loosen the fastening knob and move the microscope head vertically until the object is
within the appropriate working distance. Once this is complete, tighten the fastening knob.
You can use the stop limit to adjust the lowest position of the microscope head.
Focusing
1. Move the microscope head further or nearer to the object for a clear image.
2. Look through the eyepiece and turn the focusing knob until the image is clear.
