Radio System for use with 2.4GHZ RailBoss R/C
This information is provided as a service to our customers. We do not sell this product.
Connect the Receiver as shown in the RailBoss manual.
The 3-wire throttle connection supplies power to the receiver.
There should be no connections to the “B” (battery) pins.
Install the “Binding Plug” in the receiver at the BATT position.
This shorts the data pin (left) to the ground pin (right).
Turn power ON to the RailBoss. The receiver LED will start flashing.
Set the throttle stick to the full DOWN position. (This insures RailBoss will work properly when Tx is Off)
Hold the TRAINER switch in the ON position while turning on the transmitter.
The LEDs on the transmitter will start flashing. Release the TRAINER switch.
Wait for the receiver LED to stay ON solid.
Remove the “Binding Plug” from the receiver.
Important: Remove the plug before turning off power!
Turn off the transmitter and the RailBoss.
Now you need to calibrate the transmitter’s throttle to the RailBoss following the RailBoss manual instruc-
tions for “Throttle Calibration”.
Binding Procedure
“Binding” is the process of sending a code from the transmitter to the re-
ceiver. After binding, the receiver will only process commands that come
from the binding transmitter. All others will be ignored. Thus there is no
need for separate frequencies. More than one receiver can be bound to the
same transmitter.
