Product Information
The m icrocom puter ceram ic cooker hob can meet different kinds of cuisine
dem ands because of resist ance wire heating, m icro-com puterized control and
multi-power selection, really the optimal choice for m odern fam ilies.
The ceram ic cooker hob centers on custom ers and adopts personalized design.
The hob has safe and reliable perform ances, making your life comfortable and
enabling to fully enj oy the pleasure from life.
Before using your New Ceram ic Hob
• Read this guide, taking special note of the ‘Safety Warnings’ section.
• Rem ove any protective film that m ay still be on your ceram ic hob.
Using the Touch Controls
• The controls respond to touch, so you don’t need to apply any pressure.
• Use the ball of your finger, not its tip.
• You will hear a beep each tim e a touch is registered.
• Mak e sur e t he cont r ols are alw ay s clean, dry, and t hat there is no obj ect ( e. g. a
utensil or a cloth) covering them . Even a thin film of water m ay make the
controls difficult to operate.
Choosing the right Cookware
Do not use cookware with jagged edges or a curved base.

Make sure that the base of your pan is sm ooth, sits flat against the glass, and is
the same size as the cooking zone. Always centre your pan on the cooking zone.
Always lift pans off the ceramic hob – do not slide, or they may scratch the glass.
Using your Ceramic Hob
To st art cooking
• After power on, the buzzer beeps once, all the indicators light up for 1 second
then go out, indicating that the ceram ic hob has ent ered the state of standby
mode.

2. Place a suitable pan on the cooking zone that
you wish to use.
• Make sure the bottom of the pan and the surface

switch off. You will need to start again at
step 1.
• You can m odify the heat setting at any tim e
during cooking.

value will adjust up or down.

“H” will show which cooking zone is hot to t ouch. I t will disappear when t he
surface has cooled down t o a safe tem perat ure. I t can also be used as an energy
saving function if you want to heat further pans, use the hotplat e that is still hot.
Locking the Controls
• You can lock the controls to prevent unintended use (for exam ple children
accidentally turning the cooking zones on).
• When the controls are locked, all the controls except the ON/ OFF control are
disabled.
To lock t he controls
Touch t he keylock control. The tim er indicator will show “ Lo “

3. You can now start using your ceram ic hob.
When t he hob is in t he lock m ode, all the controls are disable except the
ON/ OFF, you can always turn t he ceram ic hob off with the ON/ OFF
control in an emergency, but you shall unlock t he hob first in the next
operation

Over- Tem pera ture Pr otect ion
A tem perature sensor equipped can m onitor the temperature inside the ceram ic
hob. When an excessive temperature is monitored, t he ceram ic hob will stop
operation autom atically.
Residual Heat W arning
When the hob has been operating for som e tim e, there will be som e residual
heat. The letter “ H ”appears to warn you t o keep away from it .
Auto Shutdow n
Another safety feature of the hob is auto shut down. This occurs whenever you
forget to switch off a cooking zone. The default shutdown t im es are shown in
the table below:

Using the Timer
You can use the tim er in two different ways:
• You can use it as a minute minder. In this case, the tim er will not turn any
cooking zone off when the set tim e is up.
• You can set it to turn one cooking zone off or more than one after the set tim e is
up.
• You can set t he tim er for up to 99 m inutes.
Using the Tim er as a Minute Minder
I f you are not selecting any cooking zone
1. Make sure the cooktop is turned on.
Note: you can use the m inute minder even if you’re not selecting any cooking
zones.

Using the Dual zone function
•The function only work in 4# cooking zone
•The dual cooking zone has two cooking areas that you can use a central section and
an outer section. You can use the central section (A) independently or both
sections (B) at once.

Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Tips
• When food com es to the boil, reduce the power setting.
• Using a lid will reduce cooking times and save energy by retaining the heat.
• Minim ise the am ount of liquid or fat to reduce cooking tim es.
• Start cooking on a high setting and reduce the setting when the food has heated
through.
Sim m ering, cooking rice
• Sim mering occurs below boiling point, at around 85˚C, when bubbles are just
rising occasionally to the surface of the cooking liquid. I t is the key to delicious

soups and t ender stews because the flavours develop without overcooking the
food. You should also cook egg-based and flourthickened sauces below boiling
point.
• Som e tasks, including cooking rice by t he absorption m ethod, may require a
setting higher than the lowest setting t o ensure the food is cooked properly in
the tim e recom m ended.
Searing steak
To cook juicy flavoursom e st eaks:
1. Stand the m eat at room tem perat ure for about 20 m inutes before cooking.
2. Heat up a heavy- based frying pan.
3. Brush both sides of the steak wit h oil. Drizzle a small amount of oil into the hot
pan and t hen lower the m eat onto the hot pan.
4. Turn the steak only once during cooking. The exact cooking time will depend
on the thickness of the steak and how cooked you want it. Times may vary
from about 2 – 8 m inutes per side. Press the steak to gauge how cooked it is
– the firm er it feels the m ore ‘well done’ it will be.
5. Leave the steak to rest on a warm plate for a few m inutes to allow it to relax
and becom e tender before serving.
For st ir- fr ying
1. Choose an ceramic com patible flat-based wok or a large frying pan.
2. Have all the ingredients and equipm ent ready. Stir- frying should be quick. I f
cooking large quant ities, cook the food in several smaller batches.
3. Preheat the pan briefly and add two tablespoons of oil.
4. Cook any m eat first, put it aside and keep warm.
5. Stir-fry the vegetables. When they are hot but still crisp, turn the cooking
zone to a lower setting, return the m eat to the pan and add your sauce.
6. Stir the ingredients gently t o make sure they are heated through.
7. Serve im m ediately.

Care and Cleaning

with a fish slice, palett e knife or
razor blade scraper suit able for
ceram ic glass cooktops, but
beware of hot cooking zone
surfaces:
1. Switch the power to the
cookt op off at the wall.
2. Hold the blade or ut ensil at a
30° angle and scrape the
soiling or spill to a cool area
of the cooktop.
3. Clean the soiling or spill up
with a dish cloth or paper
towel.
4. Follow steps 2 to 4 for
‘Everyday soiling on glass’
above.
• Remove st ains left by melts and
sugary food or spillovers as soon
as possible. I f left to cool on t he
glass, they m ay be difficult to
rem ove or ev en perm anent ly
dam age t he glass surface.

Spillovers on the
touch controls

Hints and Tips

I nstallation
Select ion of installation equipm ent
Cut out the work surface according to the sizes shown in the drawing.
For t he purpose of installation and use, a m inim um of 50m m space shall be
preserved around the hole.
Be sure the thickness of the work surface is at least 30mm . Please select
heat-resistant work surface m aterial t o avoid larger deform ation caused by
the heat radiation from the hotplate. As shown below:

Under any circum stances, m ake sure the ceram ic cooker hob is well ventilated
and the air inlet and outlet are not blocked. Ensure the ceram ic cooker hob is in
good work state. As shown below

Note: The safety distance between the hotplate and the cupboard above
the hotplate should be at least 760m m .
Before locating the fixing brackets
The unit should be placed on a stable, sm ooth surface (use t he packaging) . Do not
apply force onto t he controls protruding from the hob.
Fix the hob on the work surface by screw four brackets on the bot tom of hob ( see
picture) after installation.

1. The ceramic cooker hob must be installed by qualified personnel or technicians.
We have professionals at your service. Please never conduct the operation by
yourself.
2. The ceram ic cooker hob shall not be mount ed to cooling equipm ent,
dishwashers and rotary dryers.
3. The ceram ic cooker hob shall be installed such that bett er heat radiation can be
ensured to enhance its reliability.
4. The wall and induced heating zone above the work surface shall withstand heat.
5. To avoid any dam age, the sandwich layer and adhesive m ust be resistant to
heat.
6. A steam cleaner is not to be used.
7. This ceramic can be connected only to a supply wit h syst em im pedance no m ore
than 0.427 ohm . I n case necessary, please consult your supply authority for
system im pedance inform ation.
Connecting the hob t o the m ains pow er supply
The power supply should be connected in com pliance with the relevant standard,
or a single-pole circuit breaker. The m ethod of connection is shown below.

Hot Surface Hazard

cooking zones that are on. Keep handles out of reach of children.
• Failure to follow this advice could result in burns and scalds.
Cut Hazard
• The razor-sharp blade of a cookt op scraper is exposed when the safety cover is retract ed.
Use with ext rem e care and always store safely and out of reach of children.

be satisfied that they can use the appliance without danger to them selves or their
