QUICK START
TURN ON THE MIXER
Check the L and R MASTER faders are completely down.
Connect the power supply connector to the DC IN plug on the PRIME, then the power supply cable to mains.
CONNECTIONS
Connect microphones to the MIC IN XLR inputs or instruments to the YELLOW ¼”jack sockets. Remember to
activate the P48 phantom power on the XLR when using condenser microphones and DYN P48 pickups or the
10V on the ¼”jacks when using STAT pickups or otherelectrostatic microphones.
LEVELS SET UP
You can check the GAIN level on the LEVEL meter beside the fader of each MIC IN channel. The orange light
indicates that the signal is at a correct nominal level.
EXTERNAL EFFECTS
You can connect external effect in series after the preamp section via the INSERT plug using a Y cable (on the
stereo ¼”jack the SEND is on the tip while the RETURN is on the ring).
AUX 1 is for parallel effect connection: it always sends the signal to the internal DIGITAL STEREO REVERB.
If you prefer to use an extern effect, connect it to the AUX 1 OUT for a post-fade send and turn the AUX 1 TO
REV knob all the way down.
For a pre-fade connection, i.e. to a stage monitor, use the AUX 2 OUT.
