§2 Installation of EQUIOS Patch
§2.1 Installation of the Patch for EQUIOS Server
1.Launching the Windows Explorer, and then open the folder that the Patch is placed. 2.Double clicking the self-extract file. 3.The following dialog box is displayed. Select the extract destination folder, and then click the “OK” button. The patch installer is extracted to the specified folder. 4.Double click the following file in the extracted folder. %Specified folder%\Disk1\SetupLauncher.vbs Note: If the patch already applied, the following message box is displayed. If you click the “OK” button, installation is aborted. Note: If the dependent patch is not applied, the following message box is displayed.

5.The following screen is displayed. Click the “Next” button. 6.After clicking the “I accept the terms of the License Agreement” radio button, click the “Next” button.

7.Click the “Install” button to start installation. The following message will be displayed. Click the “OK” button when you continue installing. 8.The following screen will be displayed while installing. !! CAUTION !!
Never click the “Cancel” button in the progress screen.

9.When complete the installation, the following window will be displayed. Click the “Done” button. 10.The following message box is displayed. Click the “Yes” button. Note: If you click the “No” button, you must restart the EQUIOS server machine later. If you do not restart, EQUIOS does not work properly.

§2.2 Updating of EQUIOS Client
§2.2.1 Windows
1.Launching the EQUIOS client. Enter the address of the control server on while you installed the EQUIOS Ver.2.40, and then click the “Connect” button. 2.The following screen is displayed. Click the “Update” button. 3.The following screen is displayed. Click the “Next” button.
