C6 SE SETUP
The C6 SE extension subwoofer can be seamlessly combined with a C6 column speaker system. This
combination provides extended low frequency energy and simply enables C6 to have more bass and
to play louder. Follow the steps outlined below to connect a C6 SE subwoofer to a C6 column system.
If you use two C6 systems to build a stereo setup, add the second C6 SE subwoofer to the second C6
column system in the same way.
1 Place the C6 SE subwoofer at your
desired location and put the C6 subwoofer
on top of it. (see placement section)
2 Set the DSP mode of C6 SE extension
subwoofer to PSSC IN.
3 Use an XLR cable and connect the
TO C6 SE output socket on the C6's
mixer to the LINE IN socket at the back
panel of C6 SE.
4 Plug in the powerCON® cable into the
POWER IN socket on each units' rear side
panel and connect both cables to the mains
outlet.
5 Place both column modules according
to the instruction provided in the C6 column
system manual to the corresponding
connector on top of C6.
6 Connect your audio source/s to the
C6 mixer.
7 Turn the POWER SWITCH of C6 on rst
and of C6 SE extension subwoofer second.
The ON LED on each unit should indicate a
constant green light.
Turn down the respective level when you plug in or unplug any audio signal cable.
Always turn down the MAIN LEVEL before powering on or powering o C6 column system.
This helps to prevent sudden loud sound exposure and possible hearing damages.
