1.Howtopreparethelenses:
Fortransferringthezoomfunctionorthemanualfocusingitisnecessarytofixthesuitable
gearwheelontherespectivelens.Forthatitwillbemovedcarefullyandregularlyontothelens.
Importantistheexactposition:thedrivegearwheelshouldruninthemiddleofthegearwheel.
Duetothetoleranceinmanufactureofthelensaswellasduetothegearwheelitcanbe

gearwheelshouldbekeptonthelensallthetime.
2.Howtomountthecamera:
Fixthesuitableportonthechosenchanginglens(seebelow)andopenthehousing(seebelow).
Laythecablefordubbingcabletotheoutside.Putthecameraonthebasicplateandpush
forwards;withthatpulltheadjustingwheelatthehousingupwardsandstickthetripodscrew
throughtheholeinthebasicplate.Fixthescrewatthecentrebymeansofa coin.
Movetheplugfordubbingintothecameraflashshoeuptothestop.Checkthefunctions.
3,Howtoclosethehousing:
PullthefunctiongearsMode,On-Off,adjustingwheeltotheoutside.ObservethattheO-ringis
cleanandcorrectlylyingintheO-ringgroove.
TheO-ringshouldbeslightlygreasedwithsiliconegrease.Puttherearhalfofthehousing
carefullyontothefrontpart;thebackwallisatthecentreinthefrontguide.Fastenboth
lockingsandclosethemsimultaneously.Checknow,ifthesafetylockingsareengaged.Check
thefunctionsoftherearsidenow.Whenopeningpressinthesafetylockingsandproceedin
reverseorder.
4.Howtochangetheport:
Positiontheporttothebayonetholderofthehousing:withthattheredmarkingontheportis
showingupwards.Presstheportcarefullyandregularlyintotheholderuptothestop.Turn
anticlockwiseuntilthewhitemarkingisshowingupwards.Protecttheglasswithprotective
cap.Youcanalsomakea changeoflenswithoutremovingthecamera.Forthatopentheportas
above-mentioned,presstheleverReleaseandturnthelensoutofthecamera.

5.HowtomaintaintheSEALUX underwaterhousing
After everydiverinseyourSEALUX underwaterhousingthoroughlywithfreshwater.
Withthatthefunctioningbuttonsandleversshouldbeoperated.
CleantheO-ringofthehousingregularly.ForthatmovetheO-ringatthelongsideofthe
housingsidebysidesothata looparises.CleanandgreasetheO-ringaswellasthegrooveand
surfacea littlebitwithsiliconegreaseandinsertagain.
Ifyoudonotusethehousingfora longerperiodoftime,pleaseremovetheO-ringfromthe
grooveofthehousingaswellastheportandlaythemintothehousing.
Attention:
Beforeeachdivemakesurethatthesafetylockingshaveengagedcorrectly,thatthe
O-ringhasnotgetcaughtandthattherearsideofthehousingfitsproperlyonthe
housing.
Maintenance:
After everydiverinseyourhousingwithfreshwater.Keepthesealingsurfacesaswellasthe
O-ringslightlygreasedwithsiliconegrease.Theclosuresaretobesprayedwiththeenclosed
AlucleanerorSiliconespray(littlebottleisenclosed).
