BEFORE STARTING
1. Pleaseread this manualcarefully andkeep it forfuture
reference.
2. Usethecamerawithin given temperatureandelectricity
limits.
3. Donot aimthe LED light directly at the eyeswhen the
LEDsare on(EV-122C-DVC3only).
4. Donot pointthe camera at the sun.Heat coulddamage
thecamera, evenwhen notin use.
5. Donot mountthe camerain areasexposed to radiation,
strongmagneticfields,orstrongelectricalsignals.*
Installation:
1. Undothe2 setscrews on thesides ofthedome
housing,andremove the domefromthe base.
2. Removetheprotectivefilm from theinsideofthe dome
cover.
3. Temporarilyconnect the cameratoavideomonitor via
theBNCconnector.Connectthe camera toa12VDC
powersource.
4. Holdthebase ofthe domecamerawith yourhand
againsttheceiling orwhereveryou aregoingto mount
thecamera,andtryvariouslocationsandangleswhile
watchingthevideomonitortofindthelocationwhich
offersthebestprotection.Markthatlocationwithapencil.
Note: TheENFORCER dome camerais equippedwith
amulti-axisgimbalbracketwhichwillmakeitapplicable
forbothwallsandceilings.
5. Forwall-mountingapplications.Takeoutthe2screws
andturnthelens 90oclockwiseuntilthewireharness is
adjacenttothemountingbracket.Replacethe2screws
tosecure it. SeeFig. 2.
6.Runa hidden, permanentvideocable and powersupply

Important:For theEV-122C-DVC3(IR version),make
surethe rubberring around thelens extendsout far
enoughtomakefull and flushcontactwiththe dome
cover. This is donetoreducethepossibility ofnight
timeimagespots.
Replacethedome, taking carenotto touch thecamera
orscratchthedome.
Testthe cameraagainundertheexactlighting
conditionsunderwhichitisexpectedtobeused.
