INSTALLATIONINSTRUCTIONS:
The SV-6826.II isan ultra-smalluniversal lip-mountwaterproofback-upcamera,designed tobe
installedon anyvehicle.The small sizeallowsittofitin almostanylocationon anyvehicleand
the ultra-wide vehicleangle makesitperfectfor vehicleswithlarger blind spots.
Thisuniquelydesignedproductcanbeofusefor anypassenger car, SUV andVan,alsocanbe
ofusefor largetruck,schoolbus,busand boataswell.Furthermore,itcannotonlybe installed
on thelicenseplatebezelortrunklid,butanywhere on thevehicle,suchasunder thebumper,
on the sidesofcargo trailers or abovethe hatch.

INSTALLATION
MOUNTING:
1.Find asuitablelocation onthetrunkliporlicenseplatebezeltosecurethecameradownto
thebodyofthevehicle
2.Makesurethemounting location thatyou chooseison aflatsurfacesothatwhenthecamera
isinstalled therewill beno unevengapsaroundtheedges. .
3.Routethewireharness throughtherearbumperofthevehicleorthroughanykindofrubber
grommeton the vehicle.Ifyouhavetodrill ahole,makesuretosealthe holeonceyouroute
thewiring throughtopreventleakingormoisturedamage.
4.Oncethewireharness isrouted,securethecameradownwiththe 3Mdoublesided tape.
Makesurethatthemounting surfaceiscompletelycleanbeforeapplyingthe3Mtape.Itmay
helptousean alcoholpadtocleanthesurfacefirst.
NOTE:Makesuretouseaproperlysizeddrill bittodrill the holefortheinsert.Thiswill helpyou
toavoidanymistakesindrilling theholetoobigortoosmall.

REVERSE (MIRROR)IMAGING:
The SV-6826.II Camerahasbuilt-incircuitryto“mirror” the image soobjectson the rightofvehicle
appearon therightandobjectsontheleft appearon the left whenlooking atastandardmonitor.If
yourexistingmonitororin-dashmonitorhasareversecamerainputwherethemonitoritselfperforms
the mirrorimage,thenyourpicturewill notbecorrect.Ifthishappens,the SV-6826.IIcamerahas
wirethatcan becutreversetheimage backtonormal.(SeeWiringDiagram)

WIRING:
1.Carefullychooseahidden out-of-sightlocationfordrilling the cablehole.Somevehiclesmay
haveanexisting hiddenrubbergrommetorplugavailabletoavoidhaving todrill intothebody.
Besuretodouble-checkforanywiringorobstructionsbehindthesurfacewhereyou aregoing to
drill the cablehole.Usethe rubbergrommettomakeawatertightsealforthecablewhereit
passesintothevehicle.
2.Chooseaconvenientplacetorunthecameracableuptheleft,rightorcenterofthe vehicle.As
aruleofthumb,trytoavoidmainfactoryharness loomsthatmaycontainhigh levelsorRFnoise
orinterference.
3.You canconnectthecamerapowerattherearofthevehiclebehindthereverselights.You may
alsoconnectpowerinsidethevehicleunderthe dashorinthe trunk.TheRed powerwiregoesto
ReverseLight+12V,andtheBlack wiretoGround.TheWhitewirethatcomesoutofthesideof
the harnessisforreverseimaging.Keep thewireconnectedfornormalimageorcutthe wirein
half forreverseimage.
4.Run theYellowRCAvideocabletothemonitor’svideoinputorreversecamerainput.
