5. Raise the top section of
the stand to the required
height and tighten the
clamp as shown in Fig. 6.
6. Undo the clamp arrowed in
Fig. 7 and raise the jaws to
the horizontal position as
shown in Fig. 8.
The jaws will click into
position for use when the
spring loaded clamping
bolt is in line with cut out
on the body.
7. To lower the jaws for
folding away, pull the
release trigger arrowed
in Fig. 11. This will allow
the body to be lowered
until it locks into the
lowered storage position.
8. When in position, tighten
the clamp before use.
9. When using, the jaws can
be re-positioned at any
angle as shown in Figs. 9
& 10 by rotating the
handle at the rear of the
body clockwise as marked
in Fig. 8(a). This releases
the positioning teeth
shown in Fig. 8(b).
Now the jaws can be
rotated to the required
angle. Lock the teeth by
rotating the handle marked
in Fig. 8(a) anti-clockwise.
10. When you have clamped
the cycle in the jaws,
check that all clamps
have been tightened
before starting work.
SETTING UP THE STAND
Once removed from the packaging, choose an even level
surface to set up the stand.
1. Undo the clamp arrowed
in fig 3.
2. Lower the legs fully.
3. Tighten the clamp arrowed
in fig 4.
4. Undo the clamp at the top
of the lower section of the
stand as arrowed in fig 5.
MAINTENANCE:
This stand should not require any maintenance but if the
upper section of the stand starts to become tight in the
lower part, lubricate with a light oil and slide in and out to
ease until sliding freely.
LOADING:
Make sure that the stand is only used for the intended purpose.
Do not use for holding any other workpiece.
Always make sure that the suspended weight is positioned
evenly over the front legs of the stand as shown in Fig 2. and
check for stability prior to carrying out any work on the cycle.
USE/STORAGE:
Always make sure that all clamps are tightened prior to starting
work on the cycle.
Always place the stand on an even/level surface when in use.
Always fold up and store away from children after use.
This cycle work stand is designed to help you work safely and
efficiently. This equipment can be dangerous if the correct
