HAIR
CLIPPER
INSTRUCTIONS
The
hair
clipper
can
be
used
either
cordless
or
can
be
powered
from
the
mains.
Using
the
power
adapter:
If
you
want
to
use
the
hair
clipper
immediately,
connect
the
power
adapter
and
plug
the
adapter
into
a
suitable
power
outlet
(230
V).
Recharging
batteries:
Before
first
use
and
also
for
all
future
recharging,
the
device
should
be
recharged
for
a
time
of
12
hours.
Insert
the
power
adapter
connector
into
the
jack
on
the
underside
of
the
hair
clip-
per
and
then
insert
the
power
adapter
into
a
230V
power
outlet.
The
recharging
process
is
indicated
by
a
small
red
recharging
indicator.
When
fully
charged,
the
clipper
may
be
used
for
approximately
45
minutes.

To
ensure
a
long
battery
life,
you
should
fully
discharge
the
batteries
before
recharging.
Discharge
the
battery
by
using
the
device
until
it
stops
working.
Operation
Before
using
the
hair
clipper:
The
hair
to
be
cut
should
be
clean
and
dry
or
wet.
Hair
should
be
thoroughly
combed
and
without
knots.
Put
a
towel
around
your
neck
so
that
cut
hair
does
not
fall
behind
your
collar.
Using
the
hair
clipper:
1)
Select
one
of
four
comb
attachments
to
select
the
length
of
the
cut.
The
comb
attachments
are
available
in
lengths
of
3/6
mm,
9/12
mm,
15/20
mm
and
25/30
mm.
2)
You
may
also
use
a
special
slanted
attachment
for
cutting
hair
around
the
ears
or
aso
called
shearing
attachment.
Using
the
shearing
attachment
you
may
reduce
the
volume
of
hair
without
changing
their
length.
3)
Click
in
the
comb
attachment
into
the
side
lugs
in
the
upper
part
of
the
hair
clipper
with
the
required
cut
length
in
the
upward
direction.
The
length
of
the
cut
is
always
imprinted
on
the
inner
side
of
the
attachment.
4)
Before
commencing
to
cut,
ensure
that
the
attachment
is
firmly
attached
to
the
body
of
the
clipper.
5)
Turn
onthe
ON/OFF
switch
and
commence
to
cut.
6)
After
you
have
finished
cutting,
turn
off
the
clipper
with
the
ON/OFF
switch
on
the
body
of
the
clipper
and
by
unfastening
one
of
the
side
sections
of
the
comb
attachment
you
can
remove
the
attachment
from
the
body
of
the
clipper.

We
recommend
not
to
initially
cut
your
hair
or
beard
too
short.
CLEANING
AND
MAINTENANCE
It
is
best
to
clean
the
cutting
unit
and
the
comb
attachments
after
each
cutting,
so
as
to
avoid
its
excessive
fouling
with
hair
and
whiskers.
Cleaning
the
body
of
the
clipper:
You
can
clean
the
body
of
the
hair
clipper
using
a
lukewarm
moist
cloth.
Do
not
use
harsh
cleaning
fluids,
paint
thinners
or
solvents.
These
can
damage
the
surface
of
the
appliance.
Caution:

Do
not
submerge
the
body
of
the
hair
clipper
under
water
because
it
contains
parts
under
live
current
(recharging
battery)!
Cleaning
of
the
cutting
head:
1)
Turn
off
the
clipper
and
if
the
power
adapter
is
connected
remove
it
from
the
power
outlet
and
from
the
clipper.
2)
Remove
the
comb
attachment
from
the
device.
Using
your
thumb
push
the
cutting
unit
back
and
pull
it
out.
3)
Using
the
cleaning
brush
supplied,
remove
the
remaining
hairs
from
the
cutting
head.
4)
After
the
cutting
unit
is
fully
cleaned,
insert
it
back
into
the
device
by
placing
the
bottom
lug
on
the
cutting
head
into
the
bottom
opening
in
the
upper
part
of
the
hair
clipper
body,
then
firmly
press
on
the
cutting
head
until
you
hear
a
click.
Lubricating
the
head:
1)
Remove
the
comb
attachment
from
the
device.
Using
your
thumb
push
the
cutting
unit
back
and
pull
it
out.
2)
Place
one
or
two
drops
of
the
supplied
oil
in
between
the
cutting
blades
and
spread
it
evenly.
After
using
up
the
supplied
oil
use
only
oil
not
containing
acids
(e.g.
oil
for
sewing
machines).
3)
Wipe
off
excess
oil
using
a
cloth.
4)
Then
insert
the
cutting
head
back
into
the
device
by
placing
the
bottom
lug
on
the
cutting
head
into
the
bottom
opening
in
the
upper
part
of
the
hair
clipper
body,
then
firmly
press
on
the
cutting
head
until
you
hear
a
click.
