General Description
The SDC 8000 SYS configuration and control software lets you use the full perfor-
mance of the SDC 8000 conference and interpretation system. This software is a key
tool for large conferences where control and monitoring are of special importance.

The “Microphone Management” software module is the basic software you require
to configure, monitor and control the SDC 8000 conference system from your PC.
With the S-MM software module, you can configure all parameters of the conference
system and monitor the status of the delegate units. The software allows you to
create a coloured synoptic view of the conference room, where the microphones can
simply be activated and deactivated by a mouse click. In addition, text messages can
be sent to SDC 8000 DV/CV units.
SDC 8000 S-DM Cat. No. 009854
The “Delegate Management” software module allows you to manage the delegate
data and display the names of the delegates. Assisted by an alphabetical search
function, you can activate or deactivate the microphone of a certain delegate by
clicking his or her name. Requires the S-MM software module.
SDC 8000 S-VM Cat. No. 009851
The “Voting Management” software module allows you to take votes and serves
to programme and read the personal chip cards via the SDC 8000 DV/CV units. Two
voting modes are available: either yes/no/abstention or one out of five. The vote
results are displayed using a bar graph or a pie chart, and can be stored in the computer
or printed out. Requires the S-MM software module.
SDC 8000 S-VD Cat. No. 009852
The “Voting Display” software module allows you to connect up to five video PCs
to your central PC via a PC network. Voting results can thus be displayed for the
chairman or the audience using a beamer. Requires the S-MM and S-VM software
modules.
SDC 8000 S-IM Cat. No. 009853
The “Interpreter Management” software module is a valuable tool for international
conferences involving interpretation into several languages. The software allows you
to easily configure all language settings for the interpreter units, define the number
of interpreters per booth and much more. A special messaging function ensures
discreet communication with the interpreters.
