Installation
1. Connect to the serial console of the Alert unit by following the instructions in the Alert User
Manual, under section “Connecting to the Alert Serial Console->Model SSA7004 and SSA7008”
on page 14.
2. Configure the IP setting of the Alert unit by following the instructions in the Alert User Manual,
under section “Configuring IP Settings of the Alert Unit” on page 14.
3. Connect your Sensorsoft device(s) to the Alert unit by following the instructions in the Alert User
Manual, under section “Connecting Sensorsoft Devices to the Alert Unit->Model SSA7004 and
SSA7008” on page 16. Please also refer to the manual notice 071-0094 to correctly use the
C2016 cables. More details on locating and using each of the Sensorsoft devices are covered in
the User Manuals (071-0080, 071-0012, 071-0033).
4. Login to the Alert web interface by following the instructions in the Alert User Manual, under
section “Logging into Alert Web Interface” on page 17. You now should be able to view the
Sensorsoft device readings from the Alert web interface.
