Thank you for purchasing the DVB-T digital TV receiver. Please read this manual carefully and
save it for later reference.
WARNINGS
Warning: Please read this user manual completely in order to understand how to use the unit. If
servicing is required, please contact the distributors or the technical service center of our
company.
Warning: To prevent electric shock, please use wide-groove plugs; the plug should match the
wide grooves and should be inserted tightly.
Warning: To prevent fire or electrical shock, please do not leave the unit exposed to the rain or in
wet surroundings. The unit contains components at dangerous high voltages. Do not open the
unit; refer to qualified personnel for maintenance.
WARNING: Unless explicitly accepted by our company or its authorized divisions, no changes,
reassembling or disassembling of the player are allowed, and no after-sales service will be
supplied in such an event.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read the user manual:
Please read and follow all the operation instructions and other instructions after purchasing the
player.
2. Maintenance
Do not repair the player yourself. Opening the cabinet implies a risk of high-voltage electric shock
and injury. There are no components inside the player which can be repaired by the user.
3. Water and humidity
When using the player, avoid places with water such as bathtubs, washbasins etc., as well as
damp ground, swimming pools and similar places.
4. Ventilation
To guarantee a stable and reliable performance, keep the surroundings well ventilated and avoid
excessive heat. Do not place the player on a bed, sofa, blankets or clothes, etc. to prevent
blocking the vent.
5. Heat sources
Keep the player away from heat sources such as heaters, air conditioners, machinery and other
sources of heat.
6. Headphones
When using the headphones do not place the volume control above the mid point. Using a high
volume for an extended period can damage your hearing.
7. Do not touch the Power Adapter when your hands are wet to avoid the risk of electric
shock.
8. When unplugging the power adapter holds it from the plug, do not pull the power cord.

The DVBT Combo (SV130201) complies with MPEG-2 and DVB-T COFDM (Coded Orthogonal
Frequency Division Multiplexing) standards, allowing to receive terrestrial digital signals between
VHF TV and VHF frequency radio at rates of 3.7-23.8Mb/s.

Charging the Batteries
Use the Power Adapter or Car Power Cord (DC12V) provided to connect the player. The built-in
charging circuit will charge the batteries automatically: the green led shows “Charging”. When the
led changes to Red from Green, the batteries are fully charged and charging has ended. (When
the LCD is on the indicator is turned off to avoid affecting TV viewing).

DVB-T TV Program Reception
Receiving Programs
Switch on:
Press the (OK/POWER) key on the panel to turn on the unit; the receiver will be in the DVB-T
terrestrial digital TV receiving Mode.
Picture, System Menu operations:
1. Press (SEL) key to enter the menu. Warning: The SELECT key on the panel must be
pressed for more than 0.5 second. The LCD displays the following:
2. Press、key to choose Picture or System.
3. Choose “PICTURE”, then press、key to enter the picture submenu. The LCD displays
the following:
Press、key to choose Contrast, Brightness, Color or Sharpness, then press the、key
to adjust your favorite picture configuration.
4. Choose “SYSTEM”, then press the、key to enter the system sub-menu, the LCD
displays the following:
You can choose Chinese or English OSD, DVB-T TV Receiving or Video Input, adjust the volume
with video input or check battery power.

TFT LCD Backlight Control
Press (CCFL) key to adjust the TFT LCD backlight brightness to get a better picture.

Preparation for reception:

MAIN MENU
Basic Operations
1. (MENU) key
A. If no menu is displayed on the screen, press the (MENU) key to show the main
menu. The cursor will be still at the first item, waiting for your selection.
B. When the menu is displayed on the screen, press this key to return to the previous
menu.
2. (OK) key: Enters next menu for the selected function.
3. 、key: Moves the cursor up/down.
4. (EXIT) key: Exits all menus immediately.

TV Programs/Radio Programs
Before using the DVB-T TV Receiver for the first time you must search the program frequencies
and save the TV Programs automatically or manually.
Basic Operations:
1. (MENU) key: Returns to previous menu
2. (EXIT) key: Exits all menus immediately.
3. (OK) key: Plays the programs to be viewed or listened to.
4. 、key: Moves UP/DOWN in a cycle.
5. (PGUP), (PGDN) key: Page UP/DOWN.
Reminder: In non-menu status, press the (OK) key to enter the list of programs quickly. Press the
(TV/RAD) key to switch TV/Radio quickly.

TV Programs/Radio Programs
Program Auto Search
Press the (MENU) key to enter the main menu, then press the 、key, move cursor to “Auto
Searching”, then press the (OK) key to enter auto search mode. The screen displays the following:
The searched programs will be saved in the memory automatically.
When searching is completed you can begin to enjoy the programs.
Program Manual Search
Press the (MENU) key to enter the main menu, then press the 、key, move cursor to
“Manual Searching”, then press (OK) key to enter the manual search sub-menu. The screen
displays the following:
Press the 、key, move cursor to “TP Frequency”, “Bandwidth” etc, then press the (OK) key,
enter the related sub-menu, press number key to change TV Frequency, press the 、key to
choose the bandwidth ,etc.
Press the 、key, move cursor to “Search”, then press the (OK) key, start manual search.

Editing Program
Enter the main menu, press the 、key, move cursor to “Program Editing”, then press the
(OK) key to access the program editing interface:
Basic Operations:
1. (MENU) key: Return to previous menu:
2. (OK) key: In “Channel Edit”, change the program name, favorite programs, move, delete,
etc.
3. (RENAME) key: Choose this to display the soft keyboard, press the 、key to move,
press the (OK) key to confirm the letter selected. The cursor moves to “Edit String”, press
(OK) key to confirm.
4. Number key (1): Choose the programs to be moved, then press the 、key to move,
press the (1) key again to cancel the program movement made.

5. Number key (2): Set the program to Favorite, press the (2) key again to cancel the choice
of favorite programs.
6. Number key (3): Choose the programs to be deleted, press the (3) key again to cancel the
choice of the deleted programs.
7. 、key: Move cursor up/down.
8. (PGUP), (PGDN) key: Page UP/DOWN.
Reminder: 1. Press the (FAV) key on the remote control to show the list of the user’s favorite
programs.
2. Please confirm that the deleted programs are correct before deleting them; deleted
programs will not be recovered and must be searched for again.

System Setup
Enter the Main Menu, press the 、key, move the cursor to “SYSTEM SET UP”, then press
(OK) key to enter the system setup interface:
Basic Operations:
1. (MENU) key: Return to previous interface:
2. (OK) key: For the “SYSTEM SETTING” item, set language, menu color, TV Aspect Ratio.
4:3(16:9) Handling, TV Type, RF System, Delete all programs, Reset To Defaults, System update.
3. 、key: Moves the cursor up/down.
4. (EXIT) key: Switches off all menus displayed immediately.
Reminder: 1. Delete all programs: Please confirm whether to proceed before deleting all
programs, or the preset programs and those added by the user will all be deleted.
2. Reset To Defaults: Will delete all channels added by the user, please confirm when executing
this function.
3. The player does not have RF output, RF Channel and sound mode is not effective.

Firmware Upgrade Function(Optional)
Newer versions of DVB-T software can provide new functions or modify some faults. Out-of-date
software can be upgraded by firmware upgrading. The firmware upgrading procedure is as the
following:
1. Prepare one DVB-T Receiver with the new version and one with the old version.
2. Plug in the Power Adapters of the two Receivers
3. Check that the two receivers are in OFF mode, then plug in the firmware cable plug into the
updating jack of the two players.
4. Mark the receiver with the new version.
5. Press the (OK/POWER) key on the panel to turn on the player with the new version. Press
the (MENU) key to enter the main menu, then press the 、key to move the cursor to
“System Setting”, then press the (OK) key to enter the System Setting interface. Then
press the 、key to move the cursor to “System Update”, then the (OK) key to enter
the System Update interface.
6. Press the (OK/POWER) key on the panel to turn on the player with the old version. The
software of the player with the old version will be updated. During this process, do not
operate any key or switch off the power to prevent damaging the player.
7. When updating is over, the player with the new version displays Updating Successful.
8. Disconnect the upgrading cable, enter the “System Setting” interface and check that the
version of the player with the old version has changed.
Choosing the Channel
1. In menu off mode, press the (CH+), or (CH-) key to choose the next or previous channel.
2. In menu off mode, press the number key (0-9) to enter the program number directly. For
example: To choose program No. 123, simply enter the numbers “1”, “2” and “3”. The time
elapsed between the numbers entered must be less than 3 seconds, or the receiver will
tune out programs automatically. To enter program numbers under 100 you must enter two
digits, one for the tens and one for the units.

3. Enter the TV(Radio) Channel List or the Favorite TV(Radio) Program List, then press the
、key to choose a program, then (OK) to enjoy your programs.
AV Monitor Auto System
1. Connect the Audio and Video(NTSC or PAL system) lead.
2. Press the (OK/POWER) key on the panel to switch on the player.
3. Press the (MODE) key to switch the player to monitor status.
4. The Built-in Auto System Circuit allow displaying NTSC and PAL Video systems.
5. Press the (VOL-) and (VOL+) keys to adjust the volume.
