CAUTION
1- Please read this user manual carefully before using the DVB-T Combo 2 for the first time
and keep it for future reference.
2- To prevent electric shock, please ensure that the plug matches with the power socket,
and is tightly plugged in.
3- To prevent catching fire or electrical shock accident, please do not expose the unit to
water or any other liquid and do not keep it a humid or wet environment. High-voltage
components instituting a risk of electric shock are inside the unit. Do not remove any
cover and attempt to repair the unit. No user-serviceable parts are inside. Refer
maintenance and servicing only to qualified service personnel. Unplug the product from the
wall outlet before servicing or when it is unused for a long period of time.
4- Do not block any ventilation openings. Install according to the manufacturer instructions.
Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other
apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
5- Using earphones: Headphones/earphones used at high volume can cause permanent
hearing loss and are damaging to your hearing. Please set the volume to a safe level
before using the headphones / earphones.

repairs or modification of the product without authorization from the manufacturer’s or
authorized unit. For technical support please contact your dealer or distributor and refer to
the terms and conditions of warranty.

Change of the batteries
1. Open the battery cover by sliding it in the arrow direction (see
above).
2. Remove the battery
3. Replace the battery
4. Close the battery cover

Update
The unit can be connected to a computer by way of COM converted to
USB device.
Special Caution: In order to avoid to fully discharging of the battery when
storing the unit for a longer period of time, please remove the battery.
When the unit needs to be again powered by the battery, you only need to
put the battery back into place and press the button beside the battery
connection one time.
Switch
You can use one corner of the battery cover to operate the switch (as
shown below.)

Charging the battery
Connect the supplied ACDC power adapter or 12V DC cable to the unit.
The built-in charging circuit will charge the batteries automatically. The
green LED indicates that the battery is charging. When the green LED
starts to flash, the battery is fully charged and the ACDC adapter or cigar
lighter cable should be disconnected to avoid overcharging. The red LED
indicates a problem during charging. When the red light flashes, this
indicates an abnormal high temperature. The battery stops charging
when the unit is switched on. If the battery needs to be charged, go to
‘CHARGING CONTROL’ under the MAIN MENU to setup the power supply
option.

MAIN MENU SETUP
Press SEL key on the remote controller or press MENU/SELECT key
on the unit to go to main menu, PICTURE SUBMENU, SYSTEM
SUBMENU and PRESET SUBMENU.
In the PICTURE SUBMENU, the contrast, bright, and color settings
can be adjusted. The Factory default setting is 50 but you can change it
according to your requirements.

In the SYSTEM SUBMENU, you can access the OSD language setup,
unit input mode setup, color system, sound system, charging control and
battery level display.
The input mode displays the current status of the unit. Use the direction keys
orto switch to a different mode. You can also press the MODE key on the
remote control to switch between the different modes; the color setup can be
adjusted to the special requirements of the user; the sound setup can be
adjusted according to the local TV Signal; the POWER submenu shows the
current battery level.

DVB-T Function
Press the MODE key to switch to the DVB mode. The first time you enter
the DVB mode,the message “First Time Installation” will appear on the
screen.
After choosing YES, press ENTER to start the “First Time Installation”
setup including the selection of "country", "language" and "time zone".
You can choose between England, Deutschland, France, Portugal, Spain,
Italy and Netherlands.
Once your selection is done press the NEXT key, to display the
“Automatic Search” dialog box (see next page).

Choose YES to launch the automatic channel search. The newly
detected channels will replace the channels previously listed. The following
appears on the display:
Once the channel automatic search is completed, the player will resume to
full screen play. To adjust the volume, use the volume + / - keys.

DVB Main Menu Setup
Press the MENU key to enter the DVB Main Menu. Use the ,keys to
navigate between the different options, and press OK (or ) to enter the
submenu.
Program List
Use the /key to select Program List, and press OK key to confirm
the selection.
TV Program List /Music Program List are a list used for editing the
TV/Music channels.

You can set a channel as a favourite; and use MOVE to change the
position of the channels. Press the MENU key to return to the previous
menu. The player will save the changes automatically.
The Sort function allows to sort the channels according to Name, Service
ID or Channel No.

Program Search
In the Main Menu, use the /key to select Program Search and press
OK to confirm the selection.
You can either choose Automatic Search or Manual Search. Automatic
Search is the default setup. Manual Search requires some data input and
the following will be displayed:

Parental control
In the Main Menu, use the /key to select Parental Control and
press OK key to confirm the selection. You will be required to input the
correct PIN password to enter this menu. The default PIN Password is
9999.
Select the Channel Lock submenu to close or open the Channel Lock.
The channels that are set to Lock will be locked when the Channel Lock is
OPEN.
To change the PIN password, select Change PIN in the submenu.

System Setting
In the DVB Main Menu, use the /key to select System Setting
and press OK to confirm the selection.
TV Standard:PAL, NTSC or AUTO (only for DVB TV Video)
Display Type:4:3PS, 4:3LB or 16:9.
Video Output:CVBS+S-Video.
Regional Setting: selection of the Country, OSD Language and Time
Zone.
(Notice:when you setup the DVB-T function for the first time, this is your
Regional Setting)
