Thank you for your purchase of the SHARKK Bluetooth 4.0 Box Speaker. Please
take the time to read this manual carefully before you begin using your new
device.
Prepare to raise the roof with your new powerful 10W SHARKK Speaker. With
the rechargeable, high capacity 2500 mAh polymer Li-ion battery, you can
rock out with up to 10 hours consecutive playing time! Need to make a call, no
problem! The built in HQ Mic allows you to easily make and receive calls right
from your speaker! Among the supported media connections are: AUX Cable,
Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC, with “siri” function.

Power Indicator
•Blue: device is turned on.
•Red: device is charging (will go dark when fully charged).
•Flashing Blue and Red: indicates active Bluetooth pairing.
Power Button
•Press and hold to turn device on/o. You will hear a beep-like sound when
powering on and the power indicator will turn blue. The light behind this
button will turn green while speaker is in AUX mode.
Headphone Jack
•Press and hold M button to switch between headphone/AUX mode.

AUX in port
•Here you can connect your speaker to external media devices.
Micro USB Jack
•This port cannot be used for external device connection, for charging use only.
M(ode) Button
•Use this button to toggle between Bluetooth/AUX modes.
•When using wired connection for multiple speakers, press and hold this
button to synchronize sound.
Note: When playing music from a Bluetooth device, the Bluetooth mode is always given priority.
Prev/Next
Use this button to navigate between tracks when Bluetooth device is connected.

Play/Pause
•While in Bluetooth mode, press and hold to initiate Bluetooth pairing, then
continue to use normally for playing and pausing.
V-/V+
•Adjusts volume. While in Bluetooth mode, a beeping sound will alert you
when you have reached maximum volume.
Phone Button
•When connected via Bluetooth, press and hold to activate “Siri” or Android
Voice.
•Press twice to redial.
•Incoming Call: press once to answer, press and hold to reject/end call.

NFC Area
•Hold your device over this area to use NFC for Bluetooth connection.
MIC
•For best results, keep within 3 feet of the mic while speaking.
Charging
1. To charge your device, firmly connect the supplied adapter to the USB port
on the side of the device.
2. Charging begins automatically regardless of whether the device is powered
on/o.
3. The indicator light will show red while charging and will go dark once the
charge is complete.

Bluetooth
1. To connect your speaker to a Bluetooth enabled device, hold your phone or
other device within 3 feet of your speaker, press and hold the Play/Pause
button for 3 seconds, and the system will then enter pairing mode and you
should see the indicator light flashing blue and red.
2. Pairing mode will automatically be canceled (signaled by a beep) after 3
minutes. To reenter pairing mode, simply begin again at step #1.
3. Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on the device you wish to pair with the
speaker.
4. When scanning for available devices, the speaker should appear as
“SHARKK” on the list of found devices.

5. When selecting “SHARKK” from the list, you may be prompted to enter a
PIN code (sometimes called a “Passkey”, “PIN Number” or “Password”), the
code for this device is “0000”.
6. The speaker will record this device as the last device paired.
7. Finally, activate the Bluetooth connection from your phone or other device
(some devices may do this automatically).
8. When in Bluetooth mode you can switch to “AUX” by pressing the M button
when your Bluetooth device is paused. While in AUX mode, the green cir-
cular light behind the power button will remain on. However, as long as the
Bluetooth connection is not terminated, it will remain the prime connection
and will override the “AUX” connection when it is played and then if paused
again, the AUX connection will reestablish after a three second delay.

9. Incoming calls will override music and other media with an “incoming call”
voice alert, simply press the Phone button to answer or press and hold to reject/
end the call. Press the Phone button to answer a second incoming call.
10. Press and hold the Phone button for three seconds to activate the “siri” or An-
droid Voice function of your phone.
NFC
1. Begin by turning on the NFC function of the device you wish to connect to your
speaker.
2. Touch the device to the NFC area of your speaker (located on the top of the
speaker next to the MIC port and power indicator), and the speaker should
connect automatically.

AUX
3. Press the M button to switch to AUX mode. While in AUX mode, the green
circular light behind the power button will remain on.
4. Two or more speakers can be connected via the supplied 3.5mm audio
cable, to accomplish this simply insert one end of a second audio cable into
the headphone port on speaker A and the other end of that cable in to the
AUX of speaker B.
5. Inserting the cable into the headphone port of speaker A will disable the
speakers (as the headphone connection is now active), to reactivate the
speakers on speaker A hold down the M button on speaker A for a duration
of 5 seconds.

Proper Use
1. Please charge your new device for a minimum of two hours before first use.
2. Note: a red indicator light will appear when the device is charging, and will
disappear when the device is fully charged.
3. To prevent damage and risk of electrical shock, do not expose this device to
dust, vibration, rain, water or liquids of any kind.
4. Do not place device in close proximity to open flames or extreme heat
sources.

5. Always place your device on level, flat and stable surfaces.
6. Avoid placing items on top of your device.
7. Do not use excessive force when pressing buttons or handling your device.
8. To clean your device, use only a dry, soft cloth or minimally damp cloth
without any corrosive solvent or cleaning agent.

To prevent fires, shock or injury, please do not disassemble or replace any parts
of this device. In the event that your device may be damaged or in need of
repair, please contact a professional maintenance or qualified service center for
assistance. We are not responsible for any personal injury or property damage
caused by improper use of this product.

Warranty
Your new SHARKK Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker is covered by a Limited Manufactur-
er’s Warranty. Details of the warranty are as follows: for a period of one (1) year
from the date of retail purchase, SHARKK warrants that this product is free of
any defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship.
During the warranty period, we shall, at our sole discretion, repair or replace
any defective parts within a reasonable period of time and free of charge.
