Note:
Brand new HDDs built into the case must be partitioned and
formatted. Proceed as described below (e.g. Windows XP):
Start / Settings / Control Panel / Administrative Tools /
Computer Management / Disk Management. Click the
respective HDD with the right mouse button and choose
partition/format.
6. Installing the software
1. InserttheincludedDriver&ToolsCDintoyourCD/DVD
drive.
2. ChooseyourCD/DVDdrive(e.g.D:\).
3. Open the folder “Sharkoon“.

4. Start“Setup.exe”,thefollowingwindowwillopenup
 (g.1).Click“Install”toinstallthebackupsoftwareor
“Quit” to cancel the installation.

“Agree”. “Back” will get you to the previous installation
 step,“Quit”cancelstheinstallation.

6. Confirm the destination path for the installation by clicking
 “Install”,“Back”willgetyoutothepreviousinstallation
 step,“Quit”cancelstheinstallation.
 With“CreateDesktopShortcut”youcandecidewhether
you want a program icon to be created on your desktop or
 not(g.3).

 F – Restorealreadyexistingbackuplesfromthe
   external(backup)drive,byclickingthisbutton.

Note:
The backup files are copied to the (hidden) folder “Fnet” on the
target device.This folder must not be deleted!
