Setting Up Your SHEDorize 3 Tier Wall Shelf, 48"
CONFIRM THAT ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT
BEFORE BEGINNING ASSEMBLY.
1. Items to note before starting.
a. If you want to adjust your shelf spacing, you can do so by cutting the vertical
supports to your desired height.
2. Assemble bottom shelf and supports.
a. Put the first shelf on its side, install the 23.5" vertical support wooden
pieces by placing it on the mark on top of the shelf, and then put the short
black screws up through the bottom in the pre-drilled holes and fasten.
b. Place the corner brace with the diagonal cut underneath the vertical
support up against the plywood and put the short white screws in the pre-
drilled holes in the side of the shelf and fasten.
c. Place the corner braces with the diagonal cut on the mark of the 48" cross
piece, making sure the pre-drilled holes on the cross piece are towards the
top. Then, put the short white screws in the pre-drilled holes and fasten.
3. Attach the bottom shelf to the wall.
a. Figure out how far apart the studs are so you can fasten the steel brackets
to a stud. For example, if the studs are 16" or 24" on center, put the steel
brackets even on the end of the shelf and fasten with the short black
screws.
b. Find the studs and place a mark at 21.25" high. Take the shelf you just
assembled and put the long black screws through the steel bracket and
fasten into the stud.
c. Before going to the second shelf, make sure this shelf is level (at the same
height in the front as it is in the back). Then, put two long white screws
through the 48" cross piece into the studs.
It’s possible that the shelves may be
twisted when you unbox them. This is
normal due to the nature of lumber.
You will simply need to maneuver your
shelves to be level and fasten screws in
when the shelf is level.
