INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of one of the most innovative
Component Video (YPBPR)/Digital Audio (PCM)/Stereo Audio
(AR/AL) matrix switching products on the market today. The
SB-5588CT is a true matrix routing switcher for Component
Video (YPBPR)/Digital Audio (PCM) /Stereo Audio signals. The
8x8 Component Video + Digital/Analog Audio matrix switcher
with RS-232 and Ethernet is designed to work as a switcher for
multiple Audio/Video sources and displays. Capable of switching
Component Video, SPDIF and Stereo Audio signals between (8)
sources and (8) displays with compatible inputs. With a maximum
bandwidth of 325MHz, this unit will support sharp and highly
dened video in multiple resolutions of up to 1080p. Because it
is a matrix router, any input may be routed to any output; or the
same input may be routed to all outputs or any combination. It
completely eliminates the need to constantly move around audio
and video input cables and output category (RJ-45) cables. The
is useful for matrix signals from A/V source devices (such as:
VCRs, Camcorders, Video Game Consoles, Video CD players,
DVD players, Satellite Receivers, CAT5 Set Top Boxes, etc.) to AV
destination devices over CAT5 cables (such as: LCD TV, Plasma
TV Monitors, HDTV Sets, Video Projectors, etc.). RS-232 control
allows the switcher to be controlled by a computerized system
such as Hyper Terminal and in this case eliminates the need for
an infrared remote control. Selection of inputs can be made via
the front panel push buttons or an infrared remote control or RS-
232 control by a computer. Also supports (1) set of Component &
Digital/Analog Audio RCAs for a local monitor or troubleshooting.
This output is the same signal as channel (1) Output.
