ES40 e-SCOOTER
What’s in the box
Each state and territory in Australia has a
different set of rules and regulations
pertaining to the usage of e-scooters
(including where e-scooters can legally be
used and whether e-scooters need to be
registered with relevant road traffic authority).
Any user of this scooter must ensure that they
check and abide by their local by-laws and
use responsibly. Ride with caution and always
wear a helmet and protective gear when
riding this scooter.

How to Assemble the Handle Bars
3. Attach handlebar to riser using 4
enclosed screws as per diagram.
Tighten screws with included tool. Do
not over tighten.
WARNING: Riding a scooter is a dangerous activity. It is your responsibility to ride
safely and within your abilities.
Proper assembly is vital to the safe operation of your scooter. Seek professional
advice if you are unsure about any aspect of the assembly outlined in this manual.
4. Turn on the electronic display
and familiarise yourself with its
function before riding.
1. Remove the electric
scooter from its box and
unfold it. Lock riser in upright
position. Plug handlebar wire
loom into riser wire loom.
UNFOLDING
Press the folding lever to release the
mechanism. Then raise the riser to the upright
position. Then a "Click" sound will be heard
as it locks into position.
FOLDING
Push forward on the handlebar and your foot
press the folding lever down. Collapse riser to
rear fender until locked.

WARNING: Grip the handlebars with your hands while your foot is firmly on the platform
and pull back 2-3 times to ensure the folding mechanism is securely locked.

With your scooter on check the battery level indicator. If you
find that the battery is too low, please charge it
immediately.
Riding your e-Scooter
Grip the handlebars with your hands, place one foot on the
platform and the other foot on the ground. Kick backwards
with your foot beside the scooter to give you motion, and
then press the electronic accelerator to make the scooter go
forward.
Accelerating and braking
WARNING: USE BOTH THE ELECTRONIC (EABS) AND
FOOT BRAKE FOR EMERGENCY BRAKING.
Press the electronic accelerator
(Right hand) to accelerate.
To apply the brake, release the electronic accelerator
and press EABS button (Left hand), while, placing your
kicking foot on the brake pedal above the rear wheel.

SAFETY WARNINGS
1. Always wear safety equipment such as a helmet,
knee pads and elbow pads. DO NOT lend the scooter
to people who don’t know how to ride it.
2. It is recommended to ride at low speeds until you
are familiar with the scooter. The recommended speed
is below 15KM/h.
3. DO NOT ride in the rain.
4. Pay attention to obstacles while riding, to avoid
collision.
5. Ride at low speed on unconventional roads such as
speed humps.
6. Reduce speed when going downhill, use both EABS
and foot brake. The faster you ride the longer the
braking distance you need.
7. DO NOT hang heavy objects on the handlebars.
8. DO NOT press electronic accelerator while walking.
9. DO NOT ride on one foot.
10. CHECK LOCAL LAWS REGARDING SCOOTER USE.
Check local laws and regulations to see where and
how you may use your scooter legally. DO NOT ride on
roads.
11. DO NOT ride with more than one person on the
scooter at any time (including children).
12. DO NOT ride in water.
13. DO NOT step on the folding mechanism whilst riding.
14. Keep both hands on the handlebar at all times.
15. No sharp turns while riding at high speeds.
16. DO NOT touch the front wheel motor, as it may get
very hot after riding.
17. DO NOT perform any jumps or stunts of any kind
whilst riding.
Battery
1.DO NOT use different brands of batteries.
2.DO NOT open and puncture the battery case. Avoid the
risk of short circuit caused by metal objects touching the
battery contacts.
3.Improper disposal of used batteries may pollute the
environment. Observe the local regulations for disposal of
batteries.
4.DO NOT place the battery in a high temperature or low
temperature environment. DO NOT place the battery into
the fire.
Power Adapter
1.Only use the original power adapter to charge the
battery, other power adaptors may over heat and
cause fire.
2. DO NOT disassemble the charger casing and avoid
contact with the metal port when the power is on,
otherwise there is a risk of electric shock or damage to
the charger.
Daily maintenance
1. Check the scooter before riding for any loose nuts, bolts
or fittings. Do not use the scooter if you are unsure.
2.Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene or other
corrosive liquids to clean your scooter. This may damage
the appearance and internal structure of the scooter
body. DO NOT use a pressure washer to wash scooter.
3. Before cleaning, please make sure that the scooter is
turned off, the charger has been unplugged, and the
rubber plug of the charging port is covered. Failure to do
so may cause damage to the electronic components.
4. Charge the battery after each ride to avoid battery
drain.
5. In standby mode, the low battery should be charged
every 30-60 days.
6. DO NOT try to disassemble the battery.
7. DO NOT use the electric scooter in low temperature or
high temperature environment. Extreme temperature may
effect the performance and function of the scooter.
