Here’s your step-by-step guide on how to install your new tempered glass screen protector:
STEP 1: CLEAN YOUR SCREEN
Make sure your SideTrak is turned off and extend the SideTrak all the way out. Use the alcohol wipe
to thoroughly clean your screen, use the blue film to remove any remaining particles, and then use the
microfiber cloth to give it one last polish for good measure. Ensuring that the screen is clean from all
dust will help the screen adhere better and will prevent any bubbles from forming.
STEP 2: PEEL PLASTIC FILM
There’s a protective plastic film on one side of the protective glass. Start by removing only about
an inch of the film, but be sure to hold it by the edges so that you don’t leave fingerprints on the surface.
This side will be going face down on the SideTrak.
STEP 3: ALIGN AND PLACE
Align the exposed part of the screen protector evenly with the edges of the SideTrak screen. Once the
screen protector has been properly aligned, carefully lay it down. If you make a mistake and the glass
looks off-kilter, you can gently lift it up and realign it.
Once the protector is on the screen, keep it at a low angle and slowly peel off the rest of the plastic
film, use a tool like a credit card to help you lightly press the screen protector onto your SideTrak and
to wipe the bubbles out.
STEP 4: REMOVE AIR BUBBLES
Work your way from one side of the screen to the other, wiping the air bubbles towards the edges.
If you get a lot of bubbles you can gently lift the screen protector to remove the air bubbles.
STEP 5: ENJOY
You are all done! Now you have a well protected SideTrak screen!
