WARNINGS - COMPONENTS
WARNINGS
This appliance has been designed for use as either an EXTRACTION (ducting to the outside)
or RECIRCULATION (filtering) hood. The measurements contained on the drawings in this
booklet refer to two models of cooker hood. Therefore, it is essential that you refer to the cor-
rect drawing when taking measurements for installation.
- The minimum distance between the cooking surface and the metal grease filters on the
underside of the hood must be 650mm.
- This cooker hood must be installed in accordance with the installation instructions and
all requirements must be adhered to.
- If the room where the cooker hood is to be used contains a fuel burning appliance such
as a central heating boiler then its flue must be of the room sealed or balance flue type.
- If other types of flue or appliances are fitted ensure that there is an adequate supply of
air to the room.
- When the range hood and appliance supplied with energy other than electricity are
simultaneously in operation, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 4 Pa
(4x10-5 bar).
- The ducting system for this appliance must not be connected to any ventilation system
which is being used for any other purpose.
- The ducting system for this appliance must not be connected to any existing ventilation
system which is being used for any other purpose.
- Do not leave naked flames or carry out flambè cooking under this cooker hood.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
CONNECTING THE POWER CABLE TO THE MAINS POWER SUPPLY
Before installation, check that the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate inside the appli-
ance corresponds to the voltage available in your home. If the Hood is not fitted with a plug, fit
the power cable with a plug of a type approved for the load indicated on the rating plate; when
connecting directly to the mains, insert an omnipolar circuit breaker with a minimum contact
aperture of 3mm and a size suitable for the load in question between the appliance and the
mains supply, making sure it is of a type that complies with current regulations.

INSTALLATION
The cooker hood must be installed centrally over a cooking appliance. The minimum distance
between the cooking surface and the metal grease filters on the underside of the hood must be
at least 650mm.
To install the hood proceed as follows:
1) Drill six 8mm diameter holes at X1-X2-J and insert the plastic rawl plugs supplied as illus-
trated in fig. 2 ensuring the brackets are fitted as shown in the blow up.
2) Secure the two brackets Cto the wall inserting two of the screws supplied through the two
holes on line X1-X2 as illustrated in fig. 2.
3) Slide the canopy down the wall to locate the key hole over the washer then secure the can-
opy to the wall by inserting two of the screws supplied through the two outer holes in the
rim of the canopy J1 and J2 as illustrated in fig. 3.
4) EXTRACTION OR RECIRCULATION INSTALLATION:
• EXTRACTION (DUCTED)
When installing the ducted version, connect the hood to the chimney using either a flexible or
rigid pipe ø 150 or 120 mm, the choice of which is left to the installer.
• To install a ø 120 mm air exhaust connection, insert the reducer flange 9on the hood body
outlet.
• Fix the pipe in position using sufficient pipe clamps (not supplied).
• Remove any activated charcoal filters.
• RECIRCULATION (FILTERED)
• When the hood is fitted in the recirculation mode the Air Outlet Connection Hshould be
fitted as illustrated in fig. 6.
• Fit the (optional) charcoal filters by repeating the following operation on each side of the
motor housing. Place the two key hole slots in the filter Land turn the filter clockwise to
lock the filter in position as illustrated in fig. 7.
WARNING: It is a possible fire hazard if the metal grease filters are not cleaned and the
charcoal filters replaced regularly.
Fitting The Chimney
5) FITTING THE CHIMNEY UPPER
To fit the upper chimney A, place the top edge of the chimney over the bracket Cas illus-
trated in fig. 8 and secure the chimney using two of the 2.9mm self tapping screws pro-
vided.
The distance Hin the height between the fixing holes X1 and X2 is determined by the
height of the upper chimney A.
6) FITTING THE CHIMNEY LOWER
To fit the lower chimney B, apply slight force to the two rear edges to increase the width
of the apperture, then sleeve the chimney Bover the chimney Aas illustrated in fig. 9.

USE - MAINTENANCE
USE
The cooker hood functions are controlled by a series of slider or push button switches mounted
on the front of the hood and control the worktop lighting and fan motor speeds. This cooker
hood will not remove steam.
1)SLIDER SWITCHES
- A switch controls the wotktop lighting - ON/OFF.
- A switch controls the fan speeds - OFF/ON-1-2-3.
- The red neon lamp illuminates when the motor is switched ON .
2)PUSH BUTTON SWITCHES
- A switch controls the worktop lighting - ON/OFF.
- A button switches the motor OFF/ON at the low speed setting.
- A button switches the motor to the medium speed setting.
- A button switches the motor to the high speed setting.
- The red neon lamp illuminates when the motor is switched ON.
3)SPEED SETTINGS
- 1/Low should be selected when simmering or when using only one pan.
- 2/Medium should be selected for cooking when using up to four pans.
- 3/High should be selected when frying or cooking food with a strong odour.
MAINTENANCE
N.B. Before carring out any kind of maintenance, cleaning or replacing lamps, disconnect the
hood from the mains supply.
1. Lighting
Comprises two 40W bulbs. To replace the bulbs, proceed as follows (fig.10): Remove one
of the pins at the sides of the lamp cover. Slide the glass towards the side from which the
pin has been removed until the opposite edge has been freed, then pull gently downwards.
Replace the bults and fit the glass again by repeating the above operations in reverse order.
2. Filters
- The metal grease filter should be cleaned every two months or more frequently if the hood
is used consistently and can be cleaned in a dishwasher or by hand using a mild detergent
or liquid soap. When replacing, ensure that they are dry.
- The charcoal filter cannot be washed and should be replaced at least every 2 months or
more frequently if the hood is used consistently.
3. Cleaning
When cleaning the hood, it is recommended to use a damp cloth and mild liquid household
cleaner. Never use abrasive cleaning materials.
IMPORTANT: When using a gas hob in connection with the cooker hood never leave the
burners of the hob uncovered while the hood is in use or when the pans have been re-
moved. It is very important to follow all instructions for cleaning the hood and filters.
There could be a possible fire hazard if the filters are not replaced according to these in-
structions.
ATTENTION: The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage or injury
caused as a result of not following the instructions for installation, for maintenance and re-
placement times of filters indicated (in order to avoid a possible risk of fire when the filters
are saturated with grease).

Operating modes
Exhaust-air mode:
❑The extractor-hood fan extracts the
kitchen vapours and conveys them
through the grease filter into the
atmosphere.
❑The grease filter absorbs the solid
particles in the kitchen vapours.
❑The kitchen is kept almost free of grease
and odours.
DIf the extractor hood is operated in
exhaust-air mode at the same time as a
flue-type heater (e.g. gas, oil or solid-fuel
heater, instantaneous water heater, boiler),
ensure that there is an adequate air
supply which the heater requires for
combustion.
Safe operation is possible provided that the
partial vacuum in the room in which the
heater is installed does not exceed 4 Pa
(0.04 mbar).
This can be achieved if the combustion air
is able to flow through non-lockable
openings, e.g. in doors, windows and in
conjunction with an air supply/air-intake wall
box or by other technical procedures such
as reciprocal interlocking.
Operating modes
If the air intake is inadequate, there is a
risk of poisoning from combustion gases
which are drawn back into the room.
An air-intake/exhaust-air wall box by itself is
no guarantee that the limiting value will not
be exceeded.
Note: When assessing the overall
requirement, the combined ventilation
system for the entire household must be
taken into consideration. This rule does not
apply to the use of cooking appliances,
such as hobs and ovens.
Unrestricted operation is possible if the
extractor hood is used in recirculating mode
– with activated carbon filter.
Circulating-air mode:
❑An activated carbon filter must be
fitted for this operating mode (see Filters
and maintenance). The activated carbon
filter can be purchased as an optional
accessory FROM YOUR DEALER.
The corresponding accessory numbers
can be found at the end of these
operating instructions.
❑The extractor-hood fan extracts the
kitchen vapours which are purified in the
grease filter and activated carbon filter
and then conveyed back into the
kitchen.
❑The grease filter absorbs the grease
particles in the kitchen vapours.
❑The activated carbon filter binds the
odorous substances.
If no activated carbon filter is installed,
it is not possible to bind the odorous
substances in the cooking vapours.
If the extractor hood is switched from
exhaust-air mode to circulating-air mode,
the exhaust-air opening must be sealed to
prevent a hazardous situation (see optional
accessories in the Instructions for use).

Before using for the first time
Important notes:
❑The Instructions for Use apply to several
versions of this appliance. Accordingly,
you may find descriptions of individual
features that do not apply to your
specific appliance.
❑This extractor hood complies with all
relevant safety regulations.
Repairs should be carried out by
qualified technicians only.
Improper repairs may put the user at
considerable risk.
Do not flambé food directly under the
extractor hood.
Risk of grease filter catching fire due
!to flames.
The hotplates must always be covered
with a utensil.
Restrictions apply to the use of the
extractor hood over a solid-fuel burner
(coal, wood, etc.). (See Installation
instructions).
Gas hobs / Gas cookers
Do not use all the gas hotplates
simultaneously for a prolonged period
(max. 15 minutes) at maximum thermal
load, otherwise there is a risk of burns if
the housing surfaces are touched or a risk
of damage to the extractor hood. If the
extractor hood is situated over a gas hob,
operate the hood at maximum setting if
three or more gas hotplates are operated
simultaneously.
❑Before using your appliance for the first
time, please read these Instructions for
Use carefully. They contain important
information concerning your personal
safety as well as on use and care of the
appliance.
❑Please retain the operating and
installation instructions for a subsequent
owner.
Do not use the appliance if damaged.
The appliance is not intended for use
by young children or infirmed persons
without supervision.
Young children should be supervised to
ensure they do not play with the appliance.
If the connecting cable for this
appliance is damaged, the cable must be
replaced by the manufacturer or his
customer service or a similarly qualified
person in order to prevent serious injury to
the user.
The appliance may be connected to
the mains by a qualified technician only.
Dispose of packaging materials
properly (see Installation instructions).
This extractor hood is designed for
domestic use only.
Light bulbs must always be fitted when
the extractor hood is in use.
Defective bulbs should be replaced
immediately to prevent the remaining bulbs
from overloading.
Never operate the extractor hood
without a grease filter.
Overheated fat or oil can easily catch
fire.
If you are cooking with fat or oil, e.g. chips,
etc., never leave the cooker unattended.

Cleaning and care
Isolate the extractor hood by pulling out
the mains plug or switching off the fuse.
❑When cleaning the grease filters, remove
grease deposits from accessible parts of
the housing. This prevents the risk of fire
and ensures that the extractor hood
continues operating at maximum
efficiency.
❑Clean the extractor hood with a hot soap
solution or a mild window cleaner.
❑Do not scrape off dried-on dirt but wipe
off with a damp cloth.
❑Do not use scouring agents or abrasive
sponges.
❑Note: Do not use alcohol (spirit) on
plastic surfaces, as dull marks may
appear.
Caution: Ensure that the kitchen is ade-
quately ventilated. Avoid naked flames!
Clean the operating buttons with a mild
soapy solution and a soft, damp cloth only.
Do not use stainless-steel cleaner to clean
the operating buttons.
Stainless steel surfaces:
❑Use a mild non-abrasive stainless steel
cleaner.
❑Clean the surface in the same direction
as it has been ground and polished.
Do not use any of the following to clean
stainless steel surfaces: abrasive sponges,
cleaning agents containing sand, soda,
acid or chloride!
Aluminium and plastic surfaces:
❑Use a soft, non-linting window cloth or
micro-fibre cloth.
❑Do not use dry cloths.
❑Use a mild window cleaning agent.
❑Do not use aggressive, acidic or caustic
cleaners.
❑Do not use abrasive agents.

Important information
Additional information concerning gas
cookers:
When installing gas hotplates, comply
with the relevant national statutory
regulations (e.g. in Germany: Technische
Regeln Gasinstallation TRGI).
Always comply with the currently valid
regulations and installation instructions
supplied by the gas appliance
manufacturer.
Only one side of the extractor hood
may be installed next to a high-sided unit
or high wall. Gap at least 50 mm.
Minimum distance on gas hotplates
between the upper edge of the trivet
and lower edge of the extractor
hood: 650 mm.
Old appliances are not worthless
rubbish. Valuable raw materials can be
reclaimed by recycling old appliances.
Before disposing of your old appliance,
render it unusable.
You received your new appliance in a
protective shipping carton. All packaging
materials are environmentally friendly and
recyclable. Please contribute to a better
environment by disposing of packaging
materials in an environmentally-friendly
manner.
Please ask your dealer or inquire at your
local authority about current means of
disposal.
The extractor hood can be used in
exhaust air or circulating air mode.
Always mount the extractor hood over
the centre of the hob.
Minimum distance between electric
hob and bottom edge of extractor hood:
650 mm.
The extractor hood must not be
installed over a solid fuel cooker – a
potential fire hazard (e.g. flying sparks) –
unless the cooker features a closed,
non-removable cover and all national
regulations are observed.
The smaller the gap between the
extractor hood and hotplates, the greater
the likelihood that droplets will form on the
underside of the extractor hood.

ПРАВИЛА ТЕХНИКИ БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ
Данный прибор спроектирован для использования вкачестве вытяжки сВЫТЯЖНОЙ
ВЕНТИЛЯЦИЕЙ (отводом воздуха из помещения наружу) или вытяжки сРЕЖИ-
МОМ РЕЦИРКУЛЯЦИИ (очищением воздуха свозвратом вто же помещение).
- Минимальное расстояние между варочной панелью инижней частью вытяжки должно
составлять не менее 650 мм.
- Необходимо соблюдать приведенные ниже указания по работе вытяжки сотводом воздуха
наружу (режим вытяжной вентиляции).
- Необходимо предусмотреть надлежащую вентиляцию помещения втех случаях, когда вы-
тяжка иприборы, потребляющие энергию, отличную от электрической, используются од-
новременно; отрицательное давление впомещении не должно превышать 4 Па (4х10-5
бар).
- Нельзя выполнять отвод воздуха через дымоходы, предназначенные для вывода паров и
газов от приборов, которые потребляют энергию, отличную от электрической.
- Необходимо соблюдать нормы коммунальных служб по отводу удаляемого воздуха.
- Следует избегать наличия открытого пламени впространстве под вытяжкой.

ПОДКЛЮЧЕНИЕ КАБЕЛЯ ПИТАНИЯ КСЕТИ
Прежде чем произвести установку вытяжки, проверьте соответствие напряжения, ука-
занного на специальной табличке внутри прибора, напряжению сети вашей квартиры.
Если на вытяжке отсутствует вилка, установите на кабеле питания стандартную вилку,
соответствующую указанному на табличке характеристик напряжению. Вслучае прямо-
го подключения прибора ксети между ним исетью необходимо установить многопо-
люсный выключатель сминимальным разведением контактов 3 мм. Выключатель дол-
жен выдерживать нагрузку сети исоответствовать действующим нормам.

УСТАНОВКА
Вытяжка должна быть установлена над центром варочной панели. Минимальное рас-
стояние между варочной панелью инижней частью вытяжки должно составлять не ме-
нее 650 мм.
Для монтажа вытяжки необходимо выполнить описанные ниже действия.
1) Просверлить 6 отверстий (X1-X2-J) Ø 8 мм, соблюдая размеры, указанные на Рис. 1.
2) Для монтажа воспользоваться винтами идюбелями, поставляемыми вкомплекте.
3) Закрепить скобы C(Рис. 2) на стене вотверстиях X1-X2.
4) Закрепить вытяжку на стене во внешних отверстиях J1 иJ2 (Рис. 3).
5) Смонтировать исполнение сВЫТЯЖНОЙ ВЕНТИЛЯЦИЕЙ или РЕЖИМОМ
РЕЦИРКУЛЯЦИИ
• ВЫТЯЖНАЯ ВЕНТИЛЯЦИЯ
Для установки исполнения свытяжной вентиляцией подсоединить вытяжку к
отводящим трубам посредством жесткой или гибкой трубы ø150 или 120 мм (на
усмотрение лица, выполняющего установку).
• При подсоединении посредством трубы ø120 мм вставить переходной фланец 9в
выпускное отверстие корпуса вытяжки.
• Закрепить трубу соответствующими трубными зажимами. Необходимые для этого
детали не входят вкомплект поставки.
• Снять, если имеются, угольные фильтры, предотвращающие появление запахов.
• ИСПОЛНЕНИЕ СРЕЖИМОМ РЕЦИРКУЛЯЦИИ (ПО ЗАКАЗУ)
- Вставить фильтрующий штуцер H(Рис. 6).
- Установить угольные фильтры L(Рис. 7) изакрепить их, повернув по часовой
стрелке (около 10°) до щелчка. Для демонтажа выполнить указанные действия воб-
ратной последовательности.
Монтаж дымоходов
6) Закрепить верхний дымоход A(Рис. 8) на скобах C(Рис. 2/Рис. 8), пользуясь 4 само-
нарезающими винтами Ø2,9 мм, поставляемыми вкомплекте. Расстояние между
крепежными отверстиями X1 иX2 определяется высотой верхнего дымохода H.
7) Приложить спереди нижний дымоход B(Рис. 9), раздвинув немного две боковые
стороны, ивставить его затем ввытяжку (Рис. 9).

КСПЛУАТАЦИЯ
Рекомендуется включать прибор незадолго до начала приготовления пищи иоставлять
его работать еще втечение 15 минут после завершения приготовления или до тех пор,
пока не будут устранены запахи.
1) Панель управления свыключателями
- Выключатель освещения.
- Переключатель скоростей работы
- Сигнальная лампочка работы двигателя
2) Панель управления скнопками
- Кнопка включения двигателя на первой скорости. Этот режим обеспечивает возду-
хообмен спониженным шумом ииспользуется при небольшом количестве паров и
дыма.
- Кнопка включения двигателя на второй скорости. Этот режим пригоден для боль-
шинства условий использования благодаря оптимальному соотношению между объ-
емом пропускаемого воздуха иуровнем шумов.
- Кнопка включения двигателя на третьей скорости. Этот режим обеспечивает удале-
ние максимального объема паров идыма, даже втечение длительного времени.
- Кнопка включения освещения.
ТЕХНИЧЕСКОЕ ОБСЛУЖИВАНИЕ
ВНИМАНИЕ!Прежде чем выполнять любые операции по техобслуживанию, ремонту
или замене лампочек, необходимо отключить прибор от электрической сети.
1.Освещение
Для освещения предусмотрено две лампочки мощностью по 40 Вт. Для их замены
следует выполнить описанные ниже действия (Рис.10).
Вынуть один из штырей сбоковой стороны плафона. Сдвинуть стекло всторону без
штыря до освобождения противоположного конца, затем потянуть слегка книзу. За-
менить лампочки иустановить стекло, выполнив указанные действия вобратной по-
следовательности.
2.Фильтры
Необходимо достаточно часто (сучетом режима использования вытяжки), но не ре-
же раза в2 месяца, снимать металлические фильтры имыть их втеплой мыльной
воде или же непосредственно впосудомоечноймашине. После этого фильтры необ-
ходимо высушить иустановить на свое место (угольные фильтры никогда не моют-
ся; их следует менять каждые 2 месяца).
3.Чистка
Для чистки внешних поверхностей вытяжки пользоваться мягкой тканью со спиртом
или другими подходящими средствами, имеющимися впродаже. Не следует пользо-
ваться абразивными составами.
ВНИМАНИЕ!Наличие открытого огня представляет опасность для фильтров, по-
этому не рекомендуется оставлять горелку включенной без установленной сверху
посуды. Необходимо выполнять операции по чистке вытяжки ифильтров, атакже
периодическую замену последних, следуя нашим инструкциям стем, чтобы избе-
жать опасности пожара.
ВНИМАНИЕ!Фирма-изготовитель не несет ответственности за возможный ущерб,
возникшийврезультате недостаточного ухода за жировым фильтром (мойка каждые
два месяца), невыполнения замены угольного фильтра инесоблюдения описанных
выше инструкций по монтажу иподключению кэлектрической сети.

Bu cihaz ASPİRATÖRLÜ (havayıdışarıtahliye eden) yada FİLTRELİ(içerideki havayı
tekrar aktive eden) model davlumbaz olarak tasarlanmıştır. Bu kılavuz içerisindeki çizimlerde
ölçüler 2 farklıcihaz için verilmiştir. Bu nedenle montaj esnasında doğru çizimi dikkate aldı-
ğınızdan emin olun.
- Tezgâh (setüstü ocak) ile davlumbazın alt kısmıarasındaki mesafe en az 650 mm olma-
lıdır.
- Davlumbazda havanın dışarıtahliye edildiği (aspiratörlü kullanım şekli) söz konusu
olduğunda aşağıdaki talimatlara uyunuz.
- Eğer cihazın bulunduğu odada merkezi ısıtma gibi yakıtlıbir cihaz bulunuyorsa yakıt
emniyetli bir şekilde odadan dışarıaktarılıyor olmalı.
- Davlumbaz ile elektrik enerjisinden farklıbir enerji ile çalışan cihazların aynıanda
çalışır durumda olduklarımekânda iyi bir havalandırma bulunmasına dikkat ediniz;
odanın negatif basıncı(vakumu) 4 atmosfer basıncınıaşmamalıdır (4x10-5 bar).
- Mekânda toplanan hava, elektrik dışında bir enerji ile çalışan cihazlardan çıkan du-
manlarıtahliye eden kanala-bacaya sevk edilmemelidir.

- Bu alet, güvenliklerinden sorumlu kişiler tarafından kontrol edilmedikleri veya eğitil-

MONTAJ
Davlumbaz setüstü ocağın tam merkezine monte edilmelidir. Setüstü ocak ile davlumbazın altı
arasındaki mesafe en az 650 mm olmalıdır.
Davlumbazın montajıiçin şu şekilde hareket ediniz:
1)Şekil 1’deki ölçülere uyarak 6 adet 8 mm çapında delik açınız (X1-X2-J).
2)Muhtelif parçaların montajlarında cihaz donanımındaki vidalarıve dübelleri kullanınız.
3)Braketleri C(şekil 2) duvardaki deliklere X1-X2 tesbit ediniz.
4)Davlumbazıduvardaki dışdeliklere J1 ve J2 tesbit ediniz (şekil 3).

Aspiratörlü model montajında Davlumbazıçıkışborusuna seçimi montöre kalmışsert ya da
esnek 150 veya 120 mm çapında bir boru ile bağlayınız.
• 120 mm çapında boru ile bağlamak istiyorsanız Redüksiyon Flanşını9Davlumbaz Gövde-
si Çıkışına takınız.
• Boruyu uygun kelepçelerle tesbit ediniz. Bu malzeme donanımda verilmemiştir.
• Varsa Aktif Karbonlu Koku Filtrelerini çıkarınız.
• FİLTRELİ(OPSİYONEL MODEL)
- Filtre rakorunu Htakınız (şekil 6).
- Aktif karbonlu filtreleri L(şekil 7) saat yönünde (yaklaşık 10° derece) döndürüp klik sesi
duyunca takıldıklarınıanlayınız. Sökerken bu işlemleri tersine yapınız.
