Add detergent and care product
Add the appropriate amount accordi ng to:
Amount of laundry, level of soiling, water hardness (ask your water supply
company) and manufacturer’s i nstructions.
Pour liquid detergent into the appropr iate dispenser.
During operation: take care when open ing the detergent drawer.

Spin
You can change the ind icated spin speed. The max imum spin speed which ca n be selected
depends on the chosen progra mme. You can also set “ ” (Rinse hold), the load is he ld in
the final rinsing wate r.
Finish in
Before a programme start s, you can specify by ho w many hours later the pr ogramme is to be
ended.
– Press Fin ish in button until the required number of hours is shown. The Finish in time can be
set in hour increme nts up to a maximu m of 24 hours.
– Press Start/Reload , the Finish in time starts cou nting down.
You can pause the programme to open the door even if the Finish in time is active.
Additional functions
ʑButtons for addition al functions In addition to the programme if required

that of the standard programme.
Extra Rinse hAdditional rinse cycles, exte nded washing time.

– Activating the childproo f lock: After the programme starts, press Start/Reload and hold
down for 5 seconds until the süsymbol is displayed.
The süsymbol flashes i f any setting is inadverte ntly changed.
– Deactivating the childp roof lock: Press Start/Reload and hold do wn for 5 seconds until
the süsymbol goes out.
– If the programme is ended o r any setting is changed, deactivate the c hildproof lock.
– If the programme i s changed while the childproof lock is activated, the süsymbol fl ashes,
the programme which is r unning will continue.
– If the childproof lock is deactivated while the pr ogramme selector is in a different position
from when the childproof lock was activated, the programme which is cu rrently running be
halted.
ʑSoaking Load washing o f the same colour.
Pour soaking agent/detergent into dispenser II according to th e manufacturer’s instructions.
Set programme selector to Cottons Êü40 °C and select Start/Reload . After approx.
10 minutes press Start/Reload to s top the programme. After the requir ed soaking time
re-press Start/Reload , if the programme is to be c ontinued or change the programme.

Removing the laundry
Open the washing machine door and remove the laundry.
Leave the door and detergent draw er open to allow the
interior of the machine to dry.
Turn off the tap

– If the childproof loc k is active, deactivate it apage 6.
– Set Programme sele ctor to Off.
Programme ended when ...
– “>” and “r” appear on the display fiel d, and the
buzzer sounds.
– If select “ ” Rinse hold, “ ” appear on the display
field, and the buzzer sounds. Please select Spin Åor
Empty lüprogramme or directly p ress Spin button to
select spin speed to sp in the laundry.
Changing the programme ...
If you have accidentally sel ected the wrong programme:
– If the childproof lock is active, deactivate it apage 6.
– Turn the programme s elector to a newly selected
programme.
– If required, select addi tional functions.
– Press the Start/Reload button, new progr amme
starts.
Pausing a programme ...
If you would like to pause a programme while it is running
without changing the seque nce:
– If the ch ildproof lock is active,deactiva te it apage 6.
– Press the Start/Reload button :
ʋWhen “ ” and “r” flash on the display field, wa it for
at least 2 minute s.
ʋWhen “ ” and “r” appear, the door can b e
opened. If required, add/remove the lau ndry.
ʋIf “ ” appears for a prolong ed period, the door can-
not be opened for reasons of you r safety.
– Press the Start/Reload button to con tinue the
programme.

If you would like to terminate a pr ogramme:
