Proper Use
These headphones have been designed to be
used only with Silentsystem® branded devices.
LEM International s.r.l. reserves the right not
to provide support if malfunctions arise due to
improper use.
Before using the headphones, it is advisable
to carefully read the instructions. We strongly
recommend to retain this manual.
For Your Safety
Please read carefully and observe important
safety information listed below.
• DO NOT use the headphones at high volumes
for extended periods of time;
1. Toavoidhearing damage,use theheadphones
at a moderate and comfortable volume level;
2. Turn up the volume gradually until you reach
an adequate listening level.
• DO NOT use headphones if they emit loud
and unusual noises. In this case, turn off the
headphones and contact LEM International
s.r.l.;
• DO NOT immerse or expose the headphones
to water for prolonged periods or wear them
while practicing water sports, eg. swimming,
water skiing, surfing, etc.;
• DO NOT expose to heat sources;
• DO NOT place heavy objects on the device;
• Remove the headphones immediately if you
feel a sensation of heat or perceive a drop in
audio performance;
• If skin irritation occurs, stop using the
headphones;
• DO NOT throw, drop or let the headphones
undergoing a heavy impact;
• DO NOT make unauthorized modifications to
this product.
Important Safety Instructions
The lithium-ion battery built into this
model cannot be removed. In case of
any malfunctions, please contact LEM
International s.r.l. immediately.

Preservation
• When not in use, turn off the headphones;
• If you plan to not using the headphones for
some time, please fully charge the battery.
Cleaning
These headphones require periodic cleaning.
LEM International s.r.l. recommends Norica
Plus ® product, which can be freely purchased
in pharmacies and parapharmacies (in Italy).
Alternatively, you can clean the headphones with
a cotton swab previously dipped in alcohol.
Warranty
This System (in all its components) is covered
by a warranty for a period of 12 months starting
from the date of purchase.

The Channel Selector, the On/Off Switch and the Charging Connector are located on the left earcup,
identified by the letter L, clearly visible at the joint between the earcup and the upper arch, on
the outside of the headset. Consequently, the volume control wheel is located on the right earcup,
identified by the letter R.

Powering On/Off
To turn on the headphones, simply move the
On/Off Switch in the direction of the Channel
Selector; by doing so the earcups will light up with
a color between Blue, Green or Red, according to
the position of the Channel Selector.
It is important to clarify that, in case of the WL
model (without LED), the headphones will not
light up once switched on.
Consequently, to proceed with the shutdown,
move the On/Off Switch in the direction of the
Charging Connector.
Channel Selection
In order to listen what is being broadcasted by
the Silentsystem ® trasnmitter, it is necessary
to select the same channel on the headphones,
using the Channel Selector switch (Pic. 1).

The heaphones are also available in a 10
Channels Version
Battery & Charging
When the built-in battery of the headset is low
(10% of the remaining charge) the earcups will
start flashing; it is therefore recommended to
proceed with recharging of the device.
Proceed by placing the On/Off Switch in
the direction of the Charging Connector
(Headphones Off).
The headset is recharged using the cable with
proprietary connector (Pic. 2), and a full charge
requires about 4 hours, while the actual time
of use when fully charged is between 8 and 10
hours, according to the listening volume. During
the charging phase, the LEDs on the earcups
will be switched on and red; when charging is
complete they’ll became green.
It is advisable to recharge the battery in
environments with temperatures between 10 °C
and 30 °C.
Charging in other environments may
not be as effective .
* The charging cable may also come with a single
proprietary connector; this solution depends on the
equipment rented or purchased.
Volume Adjustment
By turning the Volume Control Wheel (Pic. 1) it is
possible to adjust the listening volume.

QUESTION ANSWER
Can I use the SX-809 with my mobile phone via
Bluetooth®?
No, the SX-809 headset is designed to work
exclusively with Silentsystem ® transmitters,
which work with RF (Radio Frequency)
technology.
Does the SX-809 have a built-in microphone? No, if you have a Silentsystem ® portable
transmitter (eg. TX-300-Mobi) you must
necessarily use the microphone that comes
with the transmitter.
