2. Installaon
Solar spot light must be installed in a sunny locaon where it can receive
maximum sunlight at dayme. Any cover, shade or shadowing will aect
the solar panel to absorb sunlight and its funcon will be decreased.
The selected locaon should not be near a nightmare light source such as
a porch light, street light, etc., as these lights might prevent the solar spot
light from automacally turning on.
The Baery Box can be inserted into the ground using the provided
ground stakes.
Make sure the solar panel faces south to make the solar panel to absorb
maximum sunlight. The angle of the baery box can be adjusted.
The Light Head can be inserted into the ground by provided stakes too.
Be careful not to damage the wires when you are connecng the light
head and the baery box.
Turn the power switch ON and the light will operate automacally.
Read And Follow All Instrucons Before Operang Your Solar Light. Save This Manual For Future Reference.
3. Troubleshoong
The performance of the solar light depends upon the amount of sunlight
available during the dayme hours. Check out the possible causes of
incorrect operaon below:
1) Light Dim
a. Make sure your solar light is located in an area where the solar panel
gets the maximum amount of full, direct sunlight everyday.
b. If the weather has been rainy or overcast during the day, the baery
may not have fully charged for operaon at night. This is normal.
The solar light must have direct sunlight every day to fully charge the
baery. If the solar light does not receive enough sunlight one day, it
will recharge the next sunny day and resume normal operaon.
Good Installaon

Bad Installaon

3. Troubleshoong
c. Check for obstrucons to the solar panel: overhanging branches, shade from bushes, trees, fences, buildings and the like.
Relocate the solar panel to a sunnier locaon.
d. Dirty solar panel: a dirty solar panel will not allow the baery to fully charge. This will shorten the life of the baery and cause
the light to malfuncon. Clean the solar panel regularly with a dampened cloth or paper towel. Don’t use a strong
detergent or acid based cleaners.
Aer correcng the problem, check the light operaon immediately aer dark or in a dark room. If the light will only
operate for a short me, the baery needs recharging.
2) Light Out
a. Check for an external light source: street light, porch light, ood light, etc - all of which may be prevenng the spot light from
automacally turning on at night.
b. The baery needs recharging
c. The baery may eventually wear out and not accept a charge. Replace the baery (lead acid, 6V, 4ah).
4. How To Change The Baery
1) Unscrew and remove the boom plate from the baery box
2) Unscrew and remove the 2 “U” shaped plates that hold the baery in place
3) Remove the two terminals from the baery and remove the baery
4) Insert the new baery, connect the terminals and reclose the baery enclosure
* Note: Please recycle your old baery - do not simply throw away
