We appreciate your choice of the IDBHS 2-Bay Charger (P/N IDCH-BHS1-2) and/or 10-Bay Charger (P/N
IDCH-BHS1-10).
Charge the Battery
1. Connect charging cable plug into 10-Bay Charger.
2. Insert AC Adapter into Power Outlet.
3. Charge Battery for 3 hours prior to use.
Battery Charging
Although the Batteries are partially charged at the factory, we recommend you fully charge them before
first use. Allow up to 3 hours for a full charge. Carefully insert the Battery into the charging slots.
Ensure that you follow the guidelines for Battery Safety described in Battery Safety Guidelines on
page 5. The multi-color LED will indicate the status of the charger as per the following table.

Operating and Cleaning Maintenance
To maintain the IDBHS Charger we suggest the following guidelines:
Do not expose the Charger to harsh chemicals or cleaning agents.
Do not charge the battery in damp or wet locations.
Do not store the battery or charger in damp or wet locations.
Do not use charger in the presence of explosive atmospheres (gaseous fumes, dust or flammable
materials).
Charge in a well ventilated area.
Do not block charger vents.
Keep vents clear to allow proper ventilation.
Do not allow smoking or open flames near a charging battery. Vented gases may explode.
If the Headset becomes dirty, wipe it off with a damp cloth. Do not use soap, cleaning fluids or
chemicals.
Keep dust, dirt and debris out of the Battery Charger Slots.
When handling the Headset Battery, keep the Battery Contacts free of dirt, grease, oil or other
substances that can affect the Battery from making proper contact with the Charger.

Battery Safety Guidelines
The area in which the Batteries are charged should be clear of debris and combustible materials or
chemicals. Improper Battery use may result in a fire, explosion, or other hazard.
To charge the Headset Battery, the Battery and Charger temperatures must be between 0C and +50C
(+32F and +122F).
Do not use incompatible Batteries and/or Chargers. Use of an incompatible Battery or Charger may present
a risk of fire, explosion, leakage, or other hazard. If you have any questions about the compatibility of a
Battery or a Charger, contact your Distributor Customer Support.
Do not disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, or shred.
Severe impact from dropping any Battery-Operated Device on a hard surface could cause the Battery to
overheat.
Do not short circuit a Battery or allow metallic or conductive objects to contact the Battery terminals.
Do not modify or remanufacture, attempt to insert foreign objects into the Battery, immerse or expose to
water or other liquids, or expose to fire, explosion, or other hazard.
Do not leave or store the Equipment in or near areas that might get very hot, such as in a parked vehicle,
near a radiator or other heat source.
Do not place Battery in a microwave oven, conventional oven, toaster oven, washer, dryer, dishwasher, or
other mechanical devices.
Battery usage by children should be supervised.
Please follow local regulations to promptly dispose of used re-chargeable Batteries.
Do not dispose of Batteries in fire.
Seek medical advice immediately if a Battery has been swallowed.
In the event of a Battery leak, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact is
made, wash the affected area with large amounts of water and seek medical advice.
If you suspect damage to your equipment or Battery, contact your Distributor Customer Support to arrange
for inspection.

Safety and Regulatory Information
•Warnings for use of Wireless Devices. Please
observe all warning notices with regard to the
usage of wireless devices.
•Potentially Hazardous Atmospheres –
Vehicles Use. You are reminded of the need
to observe restrictions on the use of radio
devices in fuel depots, chemical plants etc.
and areas where the air contains chemicals or
particles (such as grain, dust, or metal
powders) and any other area where you
would normally be advised to turn off your
vehicle engine.
•Potentially Hazardous Atmospheres –Fixed
Installations. You are reminded of the need to
observe restrictions on the use of radio devices
in fuel depots, chemical plants etc. and areas
where the air contains chemicals or particles
(such as grain, dust, or metal powders).
•Contains small parts which can be a choking
hazard.
•Not suitable for children under age 3.
•This product contains magnets which can be
harmful to pacemakers, or similar medical
devices.
•To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do
not expose the product to rain or moisture.
•As with any electronic products, use care not
to spill liquids into any part of the system.
Liquids can cause a failure and/or a fire hazard.
•Do not place any naked flame sources, such as
lighted candles, on or near the apparatus.
•Use caution when using your headset while
operating a vehicle or engaging in any activity
that requires your full attention. Check and
follow local laws regarding mobile phone and
headset use. Some jurisdictions impose
specific limitations, such as single earpiece
configuration, on the use of such products
while driving.
•Sounds that you rely on as reminders or
warnings may sound different when using a
headset. Be aware of how these sounds may
vary in character so you can recognize them as
needed.
•Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge
when not in use.
CAUTION:
Do not make modifications to the headset or
accessories. Unauthorized alterations may
compromise safety, regulatory compliance,
and product performance and warranty.
• Long-term exposure to loud music may cause
hearing damage. It is best to avoid extreme
volume when using a headset, especially for
extended periods.
• Use only with the supplied power supply
meeting local regulatory requirements (ex.
UL, CSA, VDE, CCC).
• Use caution when using a Headset while
operating a motor vehicle or anywhere the
inability to hear outside sounds may present a
danger to you or others.
• The Headset does not require scheduled
cleaning. Should cleaning be necessary,
simply wipe the outside surfaces with a soft
damp cloth.
