The SimPal-T2GSMTemperature Alerter isaremotetemperaturealert
deviceconsistingofaGSMmoduleanda built-intemperaturesensor.It
alsosupportsexternalwaterproofcabletemperature sensorwhichhas
higher accurateand widertemperaturerange.Withthe SIMcard,all
settingsofthealertercanbe changedeasilybySMScommands(Short
MessageSystem).
SimPal-T2reportsenvironmenttemperaturevalue touser smobile
phone bysending SMS.The authorizeduserssetatemperaturerange,
the alerterwill autosendSMSalertwhen the environmenttemperature
reachesthesetting value.Itcan even detect afire withitstemperature
rapidchangingalarmfunction.
Withbuilt-inpower capacitor,SimPal-T2will send SMStoreportpower
loss and restoring.
SimPal-T2is easytosetup.After installing aSIMcardandplugging it
intothe wall socketandthen itworking.It mainlyappliedforhouseand
officeusageandwildlyusesincomputer room,warehouse,babyroom
andelderlyroometc.
All servicesandfunctionsneedto besupportedbythe GSMnetwork
andaSIMcard.

1.Purchase aGSMSIM card(mobilephonecard)from
GSMnetworkserviceproviderand installitinthe
alerter.ThisSIM cardnumberisreferredas SimPal-T2
number onthisbrochure.
2.TheuserneedstoactivatetheCallerIDPresentation
function ofSIMcard,and deactivate PINcodeofthe
SIM.ContactwithGSMnetworkserviceproviderfor
support.
3.Changetheoriginalpasswordatthebeginninguse.Be
suretokeepthepasswordandSIMcardnumber
secret.Donotdisclosethisinformation toanyone
otherthantheauthorizedusers.
Foryoursafety
•Before usingthisalerter,makesurethatthemobilephonesdevice
allowusing in thearea,otherwise,donotputthisalerterinto
operation.
•Thisalerterwasdesignedforindooruse.Dontuseitinwet,

2.1Install the SIMcardand external temperaturesensor
•Insertthe SIM card tocard slot,ensuringthegolden contactis
upside,andbeveledcornerissamedirectionasiconshowonSIM
cardslot.
•Firmlypushthe SIM carduntilhearingalocksound.
•Inserttheexternaltemperaturesensor(ifany)intothe 3.5mm audio
socketuntilit is seized.
2.2GSMPoweron/ off
Poweron:
Plugging the alerterinwall socketfor ACpower supply,thealerterwill
startworking.Thepower LEDwill constantlight,theGSMLEDwill light
one secondandthenoff3-4seconds. Afterrecognizing theSIM card,the
GSMLEDwill flashslowlyindicatedthatitissearching GSMnetwork.
OnceregisteredGSMnetwork, itwill beepringandGSMLEDis
breathingslowly.
Poweroff:
Pluggingoffthe alerterfromthewall socket, itwill power off.
&Note:
oIftheGSMindicatorlight constantOFF, whichimply theSIM
cardworking abnormally,all functionsofthisalerter are
invalid.
oCheckGSMnetwork signaloftheusing place:
•The GSM network s signalstrengthmayaffectthealerter
feature.Therefore,beforeusing,theusershouldensure

thatthisalerterisusedinanareawithastrongGSM
networksignal.
•For the firsttimeuse,the user shouldperformatest-run
bysendingSMStothe alerter.Thisallowstheuser to
checktheGSMnetworkconnection ofthealerter.
2.3Definethe users
Onlyone Master user andfour Family usershaveauthorizationtouse
thealerter. Theothermobilephoneusers haveno authorizationtouse
thealerter.
&Note for SMScommands
•The “#”symbol mustnotbe ignored when typing an SMS
command.
•Noallowany spacewithin all commands.
2.3.1DefinetheMasternumber
If thealerteris beingusedforthefirst time, orithasbeenreset tofactory
settings,theMasteruser snumbermust beprogrammedintothealerter.
The usermust editandsendthefollowing SMStothealerterviahis/her
mobilephone(thephonenumberwillbethe Master number)inorder to:

Upto4 family users numbercanbestoredononealerter.
Family usershavetheauthoritytosend SMScommandandreceivethe
temperaturealarmmessage (refertocommand8and9)aswell.The
family users shouldrememberand safeguardthealerter sSIM number.
The Masternumbereditandsendthefollowing SMStoalerter inorder

temperaturedetectedbybuilt-insensorisbeyondthelimitsvalue,the

alerter will send outalarmmessage.Whenbeyondthisduration,ifthe
surroundingtemperaturedetectedbybuilt-insensorisbeyondanother
