notgetcaughtinthebuffingwheel.
10. WEARCORRECTPPE.
Donotwearlooseclothing,gloves,neckesorjewellery(rings,watch)becausetheycouldgetcaughtinmovingparts.Non‐slip
footwearisrecommended.Wearprotecvehaircoveringtocontainlonghair.Rolluplongsleevesabovetheelbows.

minuteunlthemachinecomesuptofullspeed.Thereisalwaysapossibilitythatdebrisfromaglazedordamagedbuffing
wheelmaybedischargedtowardstheoperator.
5. ALLOWTHEPOLISHERTOREACHFULLSPEEDBEFOREBEGINNINGWORK.Holdtheworkpiecesecurely,andslowly
easetheworkintothebuffingwheel.Becarefulofanysharpedgesorcornersthatmaycatchonthewheelandbetornfrom
yourhands.
6. DONOTpolishusingthesidesortherearofthebuffingwheels.Polishonlyonthewheelslightlybelowthewheelcen‐
tre.
7. NEVERSTOPTHEPOLISHERBYFORCINGMATERIALINTOTHEWHEEL.Letthepolisherstoprotangonitsown.
8. RESURFACE/DRESSTHEPOLISHINGWHEELOFTEN.Thiswillkeepthewheelsurfacefreeofresidueandglaze.Usea
metalrakeorsffwirebrush.
9. THEDIAMETEROFTHEPOLISHINGWHEELSWILLDECREASEWITHUSE.Replacethewheelswhentheybecometoo
smallforeffecvebuffing,orwhenthesewnorbondedmaterialbreakapart.
10. REPLACEADAMAGEDPOLISHINGWHEELIMMEDIATELY.Adamagedwheelcandischargedebrisatahighvelocityto‐
wardstheoperator.Tightenthespindlenutsjustenoughtoholdthewheelsfirmlyonthearbors.DONOToverghten
thespindlenuts.Onlyusethewheelflangesprovidedwiththepolisher.Whenselecngareplacementwheel,useonly
properlysizedwheels,andverifythatthewheelhasahigherRPMrangthanthemaximumRPMoftheBuffer.
