Overview
As the control center of the BASE smart home ecosystem, the smart gateway
(SWM188A) uses the open license-free RF communications band to establish a
communication link among the cloud, the Internet, smart devices and people through the
2.4GHz frequency Wi-Fi network.

The system includes smoke alarm, CO alarm, heat alarm, gas alarm, water immersion
alarm and so forth. Besides, the system also can add SOS emergency button, door-window
detector, intelligent socket, motion detector, temperature and humidity detector, intelligent
camera, intelligent door lock, intelligent lighting, which expand the market application area.
Through the gateway, these devices can communicate with each other or communicate
with any smart terminals on the Internet rely on Wi-Fi wireless signals.

Operation Instruction
4.1 Download and install APP

Search and download ”BASE smart home” App from Google play Store ( For android)
or from Apple Store (For IOS) for installation.
4.2 Configure the network
Intelligent gateway (SWM188A) is the core of BASE smart home ecosystem. It
needs configure network when used for the first time, please refer to the 'BASE User
Guide' for details.

4.3 Three scene modes
BASE smart home ecosystem has three default scene modes, home mode, away
mode and sleep mode. In addition, users are also allowed to add five new custom modes.

• Yellow LED flashes or always on: Network is malfunction.

Failure to
configure
WLAN
The Gateway does not
enter the state of
distribution network
(blue indicator does not
flicker).
First pull the gateway out of the AC
and wait 5 seconds to insert, and then
operate according to the APP prompt.
The currently operated
smartphone is not
connected to the Wi-Fi
network.
Please connect the smartphone to the
Wi-Fi network first.
Wi-Fi password input
error.
Resume load the correct password.
The name of WLAN is
too long or contains
space key and other
characters.
Change the WLAN name.

The gateway does not
enter the state of
adding device (green
indicator does not

Click the
button of the APP
device page again.
