General features
The Gateway allows you to create your Smart electric system by associating together all the wired
devices of the Btdin with Netatmo range.
The Gateway connects to your home router through the Wi-Fi connection (2.4GHz only), to allow
the local or remote control of lights and socket using the smartphone (“Home + Control” App) or
voice controls (using a voice assistant).
In order to optimize signal reception, it is recommended that the Gateway is installed close to the
router.
General considerations for the devices and functions shown in this manual.
- The Living Now with Netatmo series was used as an example for the graphic representation of the civil
series devices.
- The functions described are valid for all the “with Netatmo” civil series. It is possible to add other
functions (e.g. heating management), through integration with other devices of the “with Netatmo”
offer (e.g. Smarther with Netatmo).
- The products and features shown may not be available in all markets.
Check with your supplier or installer about their availability.

Check that the system is not powered.

It is now possible to associate all the devices and take advantage of the connected functions of
your system.
Note: smart contactors will be powered by default.
After installing the smart electric system, it will be possible to control lights and loads without
further set up needed.

Associate the wired devices
1. Disconnect the voltage from the general switch.
2. Wait for 1 minute.

Perform the pairing procedure shown below within 15 minutes of powering up the system.
Otherwise repeat the operation from the beginning.

1. Start the association:
press the reset key of the Gateway until the LED turns green.
Note: the LEDs may take up to 15 minutes to turn from red to green.
After this time, the procedure will end automatically.
Check that the LEDs of all the devices turn green steady.

2. End the association:
press and release the reset key of the Gateway, the LED switches off.
Check that the LEDs of all the devices immediately turn off: the wired devices are now associated
with each other.
Note: if the LEDs of any devices stay red, disconnect the power from the system, reconnect it, wait a
minute and then repeat the procedure from item 1.

Note: if the association with the Home + Control App has already been completed, follow the
instructions of the “Add a product to this home” menu in the App, or:

Note: if completed using the App, this procedure will suggest exactly the same sequence of actions
described here.
Check that the LEDs of all the devices are off, with the exception of the device to add, which must
have a steady red LED.
4. Complete the association of the new device as shown in “Associate wired devices” (point 1).

Reset the Wi-Fi and Apple HomeKit
1. Press and hold down the reset pushbutton, the LED turns green then switches off, turns
orange, switches off and then turns orange again.
2. Release the pushbutton.
After a few seconds, the LED turns purple and then switches off. The reset is now complete.
This procedure must be performed on the FC80GT Smart DIN Gateway, the result will be
- complete disconnection of the gateway from HomeKit
- disconnection from the Wi-Fi Wi-Fi network.
Caution: this procedure has no effect on the association of the devices on the system that remain
connected to each other.

1. Press and hold down the reset pushbutton, the LED turns green then switches off and at last
turns orange.
2. Release the pushbutton.
Reset to the factory settings
Procedure for Gateway DIN smart FC80GT
This procedure completely disconnects the device and returns it to the factory settings.
All data will be lost.

Procedure for Smart FC80CC Contactor, FC80AC Smart DIN Actuator and FC80RC Smart Relay.
1. Press and hold down the reset pushbutton.
The LED turns red.
Now release the pushbutton.
The LED turns red steady. The reset has been done.
Warning: a short accidental pressure of the reset pushbutton, starts the association (green LEDs are
ON). Press quickly the reset pushbutton of the FC80GT gateway to end it.
At the end, the gateway LED switches off, turns purple and then switches off again. The reset is
now complete. At the end, the gateway LED switches off, turns purple and then switches off again.
The reset is now complete.
The LEDs of the associated devices turn red and the devices return to their factory settings. This
may take a few minutes.

After completing the association of all the wired devices to the gateway it will immediately be
possible to:
– control lights and sockets.
Download the “Home + Control” App and configure it so that all the other functions of the Smart
electric system are available:
• scenario customisation
• remote control with Smartphone
• voice control using your favourite voice assistant
• receive notifications in case of overload or fault in the system
• check electric consumptions.

Compatibility with civil series
You can associate to your Smart electric system other civil series wired and wireless devices. This
section shows as examples devices of the Living Now with Netatmo range, although the same
functions may also be combined with other BTicino with Netatmo ranges.
This integration allows to extend the functionality of your Smart DIN system. In addition, you will be
able to:
- activate scenarios using radio controls
- activate light relays using radio controls

2. Remove the tab from the control

to turn off.
* If the procedure fails, remove and reinsert the battery, then, repeat the operation.
