audience room for applause.

Space loves to run wild in the open. But design has the power to capture it, tame it
and then frame it. Space can often evoke beauty on its own. But it is design that gives
this beauty a purpose.

Space and design have the power to transform. A road to somewhere can become a bridge
to inspiration. A journey can become more special than the destination. A journey where space
and design are your passengers. A journey in the Škoda Superb Combi.

Design has been created with regards to elegance and overall harmony, as well as
perfect functionality. For example the Bi-Xenon headlamps with AFS (Adaptive
Frontlight System) are not only visually attractive, they are also technically exceptional.
The robust front grille with a chrome frame is a characteristic feature of Škoda
vehicles. The other chrome-plated exterior elements are also impressive and functional
at the same time: integrated headlamp washer covers, strip around the functional inlet
for air intake in the lower part of the bumper, strips around side windows and
protective door strips. The overall elegant look of the vehicle is further underlined
by a roof antenna in the shape of a fin. The major design feature takes the form
of the rear combined lights with traditional C-shaped translucence.

The electrically controlled fifth door is opened and
closed automatically. It can be controlled from four
different locations: button on key with remote control,
button on centre console, internal button on fifth door
panelling and external Softtouch button. You may
adjust the upper door position individually according
to your needs.
The many unique features brought
to you by the Superb Combi mean increased
benefits, comfort and pleasure. The KESSY
(Keyless Entry, Start and exit SYstem) allows you
to unlock and lock the vehicle, as well as start
and switch off the engine without actively using
the key. You only need to have the key with you.
To unlock the vehicle just lift the front door
handle. You can lock the vehicle similarly: After
closing the door, touch the outer side of the
front door handle.
The button in the door
panelling facilitates
comfortable closing
of the fifth door.
The automatic roll cover of the luggage
compartment shifts to the centre position after
the electrically controlled fifth door is
opened, which makes the access
to your luggage highly convenient.
For keyless starting
and switching off
the engine there is a
Start/Stop button
on the steering column.

Light, coming inside through the panoramic sunroof, enhances the pleasure and enjoyment of the ride.
When travelling at night you will appreciate various lighting options in the interior as well as around the car.
Luggage compartment lighting
in the Superb Combi model is very
purposefully designed. There are two
small lights located on the inner side of
the fifth door, intensively illuminating not
only the spacious luggage compartment,
but also the space behind the vehicle.
Lighting of the foot area
in the rear is activated when
the rear door is opened.
Illuminated internal door
handles make exiting the
car in the dark easier.
You will find a practical removable
LED flashlight on the left side of the
luggage compartment which recharges
automatically when put back in its place
(when engine is running). The flashlight
is equipped with a magnet, so it can be
mounted, for example, on the body
of the vehicle when needed, such as
when changing a punctured tyre.
The Boarding Spots, designed to illuminate the entry area, are
located on the external mirrors and on the underside of the front
and rear doors and help you to avoid puddles in the dark.

The multifunctional 3-spoke leather steering wheel enables you to control the
radio and phone and change the gears of the automatic transmission.
MDI (Mobile Device Interface)
connector enables control of an
external device through buttons
on a radio, navigation system or
multifunctional steering wheel.
The Columbus navigation system with a 6.5" colour
touch-screen offers a variety of functions, including
the option of voice control. It also enables watching TV
broadcasts and browsing teletext pages in combination
with the TV tuner.
The GSM II phone preparation, available both with
and without a holder, is designed for devices supporting
Bluetooth technology. We also offer a GSM III set for
phones supporting rSAP (remote SIM Access Profile).
The Superb Combi 4x4 may be equipped
with various engines, including our top
3.6 FSI V6/191kW engine which comes
with an automatic 6-speed DSG (Direct
Shift Gearbox). The 4x4 drive, 6-cylinder
petrol engine and DSG represent three state-
of-the-art technologies, the combination of
which guarantees an extraordinary driving
experience and opportunities. The vehicle is
equipped with a Haldex clutch control unit
that immediately reacts to driving conditions
and prevents the front wheels slipping.
The Bolero radio offers a multitude of functions, such
as: reader for SD or MMC data cards, ability to play music
CDs as well as files in MP3 and WMA formats, memory
for radio traffic reports (TIM) and CD changer.
The Sound System with a 10-channel amplifier plus
a digital equaliser and ten speakers is available in
combination with the Bolero radio or with one of the two
navigation systems we offer.
Modern technologies are one of the characteristic features of the
Superb Combi model. The state-of-the-art automobile engineering
and electronics not only make your travelling more pleasant and
comfortable but also contribute to your safety.

Driver’s and passengers’ safety is ensured by a number of
elements. Those include, amongst others, the Bi-Xenon headlamps
with AFS (Adaptive Frontlight System) which are able to adjust the
lighting in front of the car to the current driving conditions, while the
adaptive system can work in several different modes: extra-urban,
urban and motorway. Further, AFS offers the “rain” functionality
intended for driving in conditions of reduced visibility. In addition,
the Bi-Xenon headlamps are equipped with rotary modules which
illuminate turns as you drive through them. Further enhanced safety
is contributed to by front fog lamps with the Corner function
and integrated daytime running lights.

part of the dashboard

The buttons on the centre console
are used for activation/deactivation
of the following functions:
ASR (Anti-Slip Regulation); ESP
(Electronic Stability Programme),
which remains activated even
when ASR is switched off;
TPM (Tyre Pressure Monitoring);
parking sensors; Parking
Assistant for safe parallel parking;
fifth door control accompanied
by an acoustic warning signal.
Safety lights on the panelling
of the front and rear doors
alert drivers passing around
an open vehicle.
An excellent view through the
rear window is ensured by the
rear Aero-wiper, which wipes
evenly along its entire length.
The linear reflective surfaces,“cat’s eyes”, improve
the visibility of the car rear.
Driver and passenger airbags
belong to the basic car safety
elements, same as the head
airbags which create a wall along
the side windows when activated.
The passenger airbag can be
deactivated so that you can fit
a child seat in the front. A mount
preparation for two child seats
with the Isofix safety system is
installed on the rear side seats.
The rain sensor
automatically activates the
front Aero-wipers based
on the rain intensity.
The side airbags
protect your pelvis
and chest. They
come as standard
in the front and
you may also have
them in the rear.
