1 Product description
1.1 Inlet cover
The DA 1200 / DA 1900 inlet cover is a covering abating the impact on the house environment caused by wind
and solar irradiation.
The inlet cover is made of injection-molded PP (polypropylene) which is dirt-repellent and easy to clean.
The inlet cover is easy to assemble as it only consists of three parts integrating snap locks and assembly marks.
Assembly instructions are printed on the side piece.

1.2 Light trap
The light trap is used in connection with air intake in livestock houses. The light trap prevents the sunlight from
penetrating the building.
The light trap is made of injection- molded PP (polypropylene) which is dirt-repellent and easy to clean.
The light trap is easily mounted in the DA 1200 / DA 1900 inlet cover.
Assembly instructions are printed on the side piece.

1.3 Fly screen
You can use the DA 1200 / DA 1900 fly screen in connection with the air intake in livestock houses. The fly
screen prevents the flies from entering the building.
You easily mount the fly screen on the DA 1200/DA 1900 inlet cover and the DA 1200/DA 1900 inlet cover
including a light trap.
You find the assembly instructions printed on the cardboard box.

2.1 Inlet cover
Click the right side piece into place on the center piece.
Make sure that:
1. the edge of the center piece is on the top.
2. the snap lock on the side piece is on the top.
Click the left side piece into place on the center piece.
Make sure that:
1. the edge of the center piece is on the top.
2. the snap lock on the side piece is on the top.
Mark up a mounting line 45mm from the existing inlet.
Drill holes according to the dimensioned sketch, Figure 3 and
Figure 4.
(Self-cutting screws can be used for some types of walls).
First you have to fasten a screw where the edge of the center piece
and the side overlap.
Use a spirit level to make sure that the inlet cover is level.

Use a spirit level in connection with the side pieces to ensure a nice
finish.
Fasten screws in all the screw holes.
2.2 Light trap
Mount the nine light trap louvers into the two spacers.
Lift the assembled louvers up into the inlet cover until you
sense a vague snap.
The light trap lock can now be mounted on both sides of the
inlet cover.

2.3 Fly screen
Before assembly start, measure the outer dimensions of the inlet cover.
The outer dimensions of the DA 1200 inlet cover are 669 mm.
The outer dimensions of the DA 1900 inlet cover are 953 mm.

1. Place the frame on a table or the floor.
2. Mount the front rod 670 mm.
3. Mount the rear rod 710 mm.
4. Mount the rod connector on the front and rear rod.

5. Mount the bottom rod 650 / 934 mm in the two-rod
connectors.
Please note that the red mark must be on the rear side.
6. Mount the basket on the rods and the frame
7. Attach the array of holes on the latches in the frame.
8. Fold the locking retainer down over the latches both at
the front and at the back.
9. Dismantle the light trap latches.
10. Mount the fly screen latches.
11. Press the fly screen onto the inlet cover.
12. Press the fly screen inwards, onto the inlet cover

3 Maintenance
The inlet cover, the light trap and the fly screen can be cleaned using a high-pressure cleaner. Dismantle the
light trap locks on both sides and remove the light trap when disinfecting the louvres.
3.1 Icing up/clogging of the fly screen
In case of sudden icing up/clogging of the fly screen, you can
open the fly screen and leave it attached using the inner catch of
the fly screen.
