Cleaning and Care 24-month Guarantee
Here are some hints and tips that will help you get the best out of your heated throw for years to come.
WARNING! Always disconnect the appliance from the mains and disconnect the control connector
from the throw before cleaning or performing maintenance.
Washing your heated throw
Your Slumberdown heated throw can be washed by hand or in the washing machine on a 40° wool cycle.
To hand wash
Fill a large bowl or a bath with warm water and mild detergent or washing powder. Leave the throw to soak
for 5 or so minutes, then gently wash. Rinse in clean water until the water runs clear.
To machine wash
Pop your throw in the washing machine on a 40° wool cycle. Once your throw is washed, don’t wring it
out. Gently, but firmly, squeeze as much excess water out as you can.
Pre-treat any stains by spot cleaning before placing in the washing machine.
Use only the delicate cycle for spinning. DO NOT make an additional spinning cycle.
Drying your heated throw
The best place to dry your heated throw is on the washing line. Gently reshape it while it’s damp,
then hang it up, being careful not to peg any wired areas. Make sure it’s completely dry before you use it.
Do not iron the throw.
Wear and tear checks
•Make sure the plug, mains lead, heated throw socket and controller remain undamaged,
with no bare wire showing.
•Make sure the wiring of the heated throw isn’t sticking out of the fabric anywhere.
•If there are signs of wear or damage, if the throw has been misused or doesn’t work,
contact the retailer that you purchased the throw from before switching it on again.
Storing the throw
Make sure that the throw has cooled down and then roll or loosely fold it up. Don’t fold it too tightly or
put heavy things on top of it, as it could damage the wiring.
If the throw has been washed, make sure that it is completely dry before folding it and storing it away.
You are advised to store the heated throw in the original packaging that it was supplied in where possible.
Make sure that the throw is stored in a dry place.
This heated throw was individually tested before leaving our factory and should reach you in perfect working
