Make sure you receive all items of your shipment:
• One SCP-P4040-4G-ENP2 board
• One printed copy of Quick Start Guide (this document)
• One printed copy of Safety Notes Summary
When installing or servicing the system or accessories,
strictly observe the safety precautions in the Safety Notes
Summary. Ignoring these instructions can void the system
warranty and cause personal injury or property damage.
2 ESD
Electrostatic discharge and incorrect installation or
removal of the card can damage circuit or shorten its life.
Use a properly grounded ESD wrist strap or work in an
ESD-safe environment.
Connect to the ESD connector at the front or the rear of
the system.
3 Site preparation
Operating temperatures refer to the temperature of the air circulating
around the blade and not to the actual component temperature.
For more information about connecting cables and power cords,
refer to the SCP-P4040-4G-ENP2 Installation and Use manual.
4 Install PCIE cards
1. Line up the board-to-board connector of the module assembly
with the board-to-board connector of the carrier board.
2. Make sure that the interconnectors are properly aligned and that
the five standoffs on the module have contact with the top of the
carrier board.
3. From the bottom side of the carrier board, locate the screw holes
on module and carrier board.
4. Use the screws to fasten the module to the carrier board.
NOTE: This installation procedure is only for reference. Assemble
the heat sink and the module based on your own thermal solution.
