1.1 General safety instructions
Risk of personal injury
• Read and follow the instructions
contained in this manual carefully.
• Keep children under eight years
of age at a safe distance if they
are not constantly supervised.
• Children must never play with the
appliance.
• Make sure that children do not go
into the appliance and remain
trapped inside it.
• This appliance is not suitable for
use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capacity, or by
those without experience or
knowledge, unless they are
supervised or instructed on the use
of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• Do not hang on the doors of the
appliance.
• Do not use the internal drawers as
steps.
• Do not enter the appliance.
• Do not place your hands under
the appliance.
• The appliance must never be
cleaned by unsupervised children.
• Have qualified personnel carry
out installation and assistance
interventions according to the
standards in force.
• Do not modify this appliance.
• Do not insert pointed metal
objects (cutlery or utensils) into the
slots in the appliance.
• Do not try to repair the appliance
yourself or without the intervention
of a qualified technician.
• Insert the plug firmly into the
power outlet with the cable facing
downwards.
• Do not plug the plug into multi
plug sockets that are shared with
other appliances.
• Do not use cables or plugs that
are loose or damaged.
• Grip the plug properly when
removing it from the socket.

special storage requirements in
the appliance.
• Do not use abrasive or corrosive
detergents (e.g. scouring
powders, stain removers and
metallic sponges) on glass parts.
• Do not use powder detergents,
waxes, oil, boiling water, brushes,
acid substances, petrol, solvents,
alcohol and alkaline detergents
on the internal parts and on the
surfaces of the appliance.
• Do not use steam jets to clean the
appliance.
• Keep the ventilation openings and
slots free from obstructions.
• Do not use electrical appliances
inside the food storage
compartments unless they are of
the type recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Do not use mechanical devices or
other means to speed up the
defrosting process other than
those recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Never, under any circumstances,
use the appliance to cool the
room.
• Always unplug the appliance
from the mains in the event if a
fault or when cleaning or carrying
out maintenance on the
appliance.
• If the appliance malfunctions,
disconnect the plug immediately
and contact an authorised dealer.

Installation
• THIS APPLIANCE MUST NOT BE
INSTALLED ON BOATS OR IN
CARAVANS.
• Do not install the appliance in
areas exposed to rain, direct
sunlight or close to heat sources
(ovens, hobs etc.).
• Do not install the appliance in
rooms in which there are
flammable gases.
• Install the refrigerator in a dry well
ventilated room.
• The appliance must be earthed in
compliance with electrical safety
standards.
• Install the appliance on a stable
and perfectly level floor.
• Do not use the door handles for
handling the appliance.
• Only use the special handle to
move the appliance.
• For safety reasons, the refrigerator
must be moved by at least 4
people.
• Transport the refrigerator with the
doors facing upwards.
• Secure the doors firmly with
adhesive tape so that they cannot
open.
• If it is transported by road, do not
place the appliance on its side to
avoid damaging the compressor.
• Use a sheet of plastic or a
protective cloth to protect the floor
and to collect any water that may
leak from the refrigerator.
• Do not use the wheels of the
appliance to move it on delicate
floors as they may become
scratched.
For this appliance
• The appliance uses R-600a as a
refrigerant and cyclopentane for
the thermal insulation of the
polyurethane. The R-600a
refrigerant is flammable. The
refrigerant is sealed in the
refrigerant circuit and cannot leak
during normal use.

• If the refrigerant circuit becomes
damaged:
• Do not use naked flames or
electrical appliances
• Open the window and allow
the air to circulate
• Contact the Service Centre
• Do not damage the refrigerant
circuit.
• Always earth the appliance and
install a circuit breaker if the
appliance is used in very humid
environments.
• Install the refrigerator in rooms in
which the temperature between
10°C and 43°C. Performance
may be reduced in the case of
lower or higher temperatures.
• Do not store products or
substances in it that are not for
domestic use.
• Do not store foods in it that give
off bad odours or whose
appearance and colour have
changed unnaturally.
• Wrap food in cling film and use
sealed containers to keep food
fresh.
• Do not open the doors too often
and do not leave them open for a
long time.
• Always allow foods to cool to
room temperature before placing
them in the appliance.
• Do not stack the foods on top of
each other. Arrange the food so
that the air can circulate correctly
inside the appliance.
• Take care that no objects are
stuck in the doors.
1.2 Manufacturer liability
The manufacturer declines all liability
for damage to persons or property
caused by:
• use of the appliance other than
the one envisaged;
• non-observance of the user
manual provisions;
• tampering with any part of the
appliance;
• use of non-original spare parts.

1.3 Appliance purpose
• This appliance is intended for the
refrigeration and storage of fresh
and frozen foods in domestic
environments. Every other use is
considered improper.
• This appliance is not suitable for
use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capacity, or by
those without experience or
knowledge, unless they are
supervised or instructed on the use
of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• The appliance is not designed to
operate with external timers or
with remote-control systems.
1.4 Disposal
This appliance complies with the
European Union WEEE directive
(2012/19/EU) and bears the
symbol for waste electrical and electronic
products. This appliance must be disposed
of separately from other household waste
(Directives 2002/95/EC, 2002/96/EC,
2003/108/EC). The appliance does not
contain substances in quantities sufficient to
be considered hazardous to health and the
environment, in accordance with current
European directives.
To dispose of the appliance:
• Cut the power supply cable and remove
it along with the plug.
• Cyclopentane is used to insulate the
appliance. The gases contained in the
insulation material require a special
procedure in order to be disposed of
correctly. Contact the local authorities for
the correct disposal of this product.
• Take the appliance to the appropriate
recycling centre for waste electrical and
electronic equipment, or return it to the
retailer when purchasing an equivalent
product, on a one for one basis.
Our appliances are packed in non-
polluting and recyclable materials.

1.5 Identification plate
The identification plate bears the
technical data, serial number and

Shelves
For optimising fridge space and placing
foodstuffs inside the refrigerator
compartment.
Variable temperature drawer
For storing fruit and vegetables or dairy
products or meat according to the mode
selected via the selector.
Fruit and vegetable drawer with Bio
Care Zone
For storing fruit and vegetables. The Bio
Care system preserves the freshness and
nutritional properties of fruit and vegetables.
Egg holder
For storing eggs. Can hold up to 14 eggs.
The rear part can also be used for small
containers.

3.1 Instructions
Improper use
Risk of damages to the appliance
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do not spray water onto the appliance
or inside it.
• Do not store volatile substances or items
(propane gas, ethers and similar
products) in the appliance.
• Do not store explosive substances such
as aerosol cans containing flammable
propellants in the appliance.
• Do not store substances that have
special storage requirements in the
appliance.
• Do not force bottles or similar items into
the shelves or compartments on the
refrigerator door.
• Do not hit the glass door parts or
shelves.
• Do not place food over the front edge
of the shelves as this could prevent the
doors from closing and cause the door
shelves or containers to fall off.
• Do not keep glass bottles in the freezer
compartment.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other
means not recommended by the
manufacturer to speed up the defrosting
process.

• Do not handle food and containers in
the freezer compartment with wet hands.
• Do not grasp the top, side or bottom of
the door to avoid crushing your fingers.
• Do not cling to the refrigerator doors
and do not use the internal drawers as
steps.
• Do not put your hands under the bottom
of the refrigerator.
• Do not place your feet too close to the
fridge door to prevent hitting them when
opening the door.
• Do not store foods in it that give off bad
odours or whose appearance and
colour have changed unnaturally.
• Do not allow children to play with the
appliance.
• Make sure that children do not go into
the appliance and remain trapped
inside it.

3.2 Preliminary operations
1. Remove any protective film from the
outside or inside of the appliance,
including accessories.
2. Remove any labels (apart from the
technical data plate) from the
accessories and shelves.
3. Remove and wash all the appliance
accessories (see 4 Cleaning and
maintenance).
4. Wait for the refrigerator to cool down
properly before placing food in it. The
refrigerator takes approximately 4 hours
to cool completely and could take up to
24 hours when the room temperature is
high.
Touch screen control panel
The control panel located on the left door
of the refrigerator compartment allows you
to:
• Program the temperatures inside the
refrigerator and freezer compartments.
• Set the various functions and operating
modes of the appliance.
3.3 First use
1. Plug the appliance into a wall socket.
2. Touch “Refrigerator temp.” on the control
panel display to set the temperature of
the refrigerator compartment.
3. Touch “Freezer temp.” to set the
temperature of the freezer compartment.
The operation of the touch screen
panel may vary depending on the
surrounding temperature, humidity,
the physical condition of the user
and the operation of nearby
electrical appliances.
It may not be possible to operate
the panel if it is wet or dirty.
The fridge temperature can be set
between +1°C and +7°C.
The freezer temperature can be set
between -23°C and -15°C.
It is recommended to set the
temperature of appliance to +3°C
for the refrigerator and -19°C for
the freezer.
All the LED indicator lights (apart
from the ECO and Dual Fan
indicator lights) will turn off
approximately 30 seconds after
the operation has been
completed.

3.4 Other functions
Quick freezing
Use this function to freeze food or make ice
cubes quickly.
1. Touch “Quick freezing” on the display to
start the quick freezing function. The
indicator light comes on and a sound is
emitted.
2. Touch “Quick freezing” again on the
display to stop the function. The indicator
light turns off and a sound is emitted.
Child lock mode
Activate this mode to prevent buttons being
activated by children.
1. Touch “Child lock” for 5 seconds; the
“Child lock” indicator light turns on and a
sound is emitted.
2. Touch “Child lock” again for 5 seconds
to stop the function. The “Child lock”
indicator light turns off and a sound is
emitted.
Energy saving mode
Use this mode if there is only a small amount
of food to be stored or in the case of
holidays when the doors will not be opened
for a long period of time.
1. Touch “Energy saving” on the display to
start the energy saving mode. The
indicator light comes on and a sound is
emitted.
2. Touch “Energy saving” on the display
again to stop the function. The indicator
light turns off and a sound is emitted.
After approximately 2 hours the
“Quick freezing” function ends, the
indicator light turns off and a sound
is emitted.
If the temperature inside the
compartment increases, it will
operate temporarily at the
“Normal” setting.
The “Quick freezing” function has
priority over the other functions of
the appliance.
Do not open and close the doors
unnecessarily during the “Quick
freezing” function to avoid raising
the temperature inside the
refrigerator compartment.
If the power plug is disconnected
or a power failure occurs, the
appliance will automatically
reactivate all the settings except for
the “Quick freezing” function.
If the temperature inside the
compartment increases, it will
operate temporarily at the
“Normal” setting.
If you activate the “Quick freezing”
function while the “Energy saving”
mode is active, the energy saving
mode will resume after the “Quick
freezing” function has ended.

Indications on the control panel display
ECO signal: The ECO indicator light is lit
when the compressor is operating at low
speed. The indicator light is off when the
“Quick freezing” function is active.
Dual Fan signal: The double fan indicator
LED comes on if the cooling is efficient.
Door alarm functions
If the door is left open for more than 1
minute, the alarm system warns the user by
emitting a sound and displaying the alarm
on the digital display.
Door alarm: alerts you by emitting sounds
3 consecutive beeps after 1 minute
5 consecutive beeps after 2 minutes
A series of continuous beeps after 3 minutes
Alarm display: indicates the open status of
the door on the control panel display:
OP F = freezer door open
or
OP R = refrigerator door open.
If the “Energy saving” mode has
been active for a long period of
time, fatty foods such as ice cream
could become soft. In this case it is
best to deactivate the “Energy
saving” mode.
Approximately 30 seconds after
the end of the operations on the
display, the ECO and Dual Fan
indicator lights become less bright
and the other indicator lights turn off.
When the appliance is delivered
the alarm and sounds are set to
“ON”.

Disabling alarms and sounds
To disable the alarm and sound:
1. Touch “Quick freezing” on the display for
5 seconds until a beep is emitted.
• When you touch any function, no sound
will be heard.
To re-enable the alarm and sound:
1. Touch “Quick freezing” on the display for
5 seconds until a double beep is emitted.
• When you touch any function, a sound
will be heard.
3.5 Using the accessories
Shelves
1. Adjust the height of the shelves by
pushing the rear of the shelf upwards
and sliding it outwards.
2. Arrange the shelves of the refrigerator
according to the size of the food to be
stored.
If the sounds for the door alarm
and the functions on the display
are disabled, the refrigerator sets
the alarm and sounds to “OFF”
also if the power supply is
disconnected or if the plug is
disconnected and then
reconnected.
The settings remain active even in
the case of defrosting or when the
power supply is disconnected, if
set at least 45 seconds before.

Variable temperature drawer
1. Move the lever left to “Vegetables” to set
the appropriate temperature for storing
fruit and vegetables (3°C to 5°C).
2. Move the lever right to “Dairy products /
Meat” to set the appropriate
temperature for storing dairy products /
meat (1°C to 3°C).
Fruit and vegetable drawer with Bio
Care Zone
The effectiveness of the platinum catalyst in
the Bio Care system enables it to preserve
the freshness and nutritional properties of
fruit and vegetables.
The platinum catalyst neutralises odours
and the ethylene released from the food
turns into carbon dioxide to preserve its
freshness.
Carbon dioxide prevents the loss of
nutrients and helps to keep vegetables fresh
for longer.
1. Use the handle (1) to make it easier to
open the drawer.
2. Arrange the fruit, vegetables and bags
without covering the humidifier (2) to
avoid the formation of condensation.
Improper use
Risk of personal injury
• The drawer is large enough for children
or pets to get inside: DO NOT ALLOW
children to play with the drawer.
The drawer is fitted with a
temperature control device to
regulate the amount of cold air
circulating inside the drawer.
The drawer can be used to store
meat and fish before freezing
them.
If you wish to keep meat or fish for
longer periods, it is recommended
to store it in the freezer
compartment.
Push the refrigerated drawer to
close it so that it is not damaged
when the refrigerator door is
closed.
The drawer may freeze if foods
with a high-moisture content are
stored in it.
