SafetyInstructions
•Ifthe modelcontainsR600a-seenameplateunderrefrigerant(thecoolantisobutane),
naturalsgasthat, is veryenvironmentallyfriendlybut alsocombustible.When
transportingand installingtheunitcaremustbe takentoensurethatnoneofthe
refrigerationcircuitcomponentsbecomedamaged.Intheeventofdamageavoid
nakedflamesorignitionsourcesand ventilatetheroomin whichthe unitisplaced
forafewminutes.
Warning: Keepventilationopeningsinapplianceenclosureorinstructureforbuilding
in,clearofobstruction.
•Donotusemechanicaldevicesorotherartificial meanstoaccelerate thedefrosting
process.
•Donotuseelectricalappliancesinthe refrigeratororfreezercompartmentofthe

Recommendations

•This applianceisconnecting to 220-240Vor200-230Vand50Hz.Pleasecheck
nameneplate ofapplianceand besurevoltage rangesuitable to yourmainsvoltage.
•Youcanofferhelpfromtheservicetoinstall andswitchingon theappliance.
•Beforemakingtheconnectiontothepowersupply,ensurethatthe voltageonthe
nameplatecorrespondstothevoltage ofelectricalsysteminyourhome.
•Inserttheplugintoasocket with anefficient groundconnection. Ifthesockethasno
ground contactorthe plug doesnotmatch,wesuggestyoutocallanauthorised
electricianforassistance.
•Theplugshouldbeaccessible afterthe applianceispositioned.
•Manufacturerisnotresponsible forfailuretocompletethe ground
connectionasdescribed inthisbooklet.
•Donotplacetheapplianceindirectsunlight.
•Donotuseinopenairandshall notbeexposedto therain.
•Placetherefrigeratorfar fromheatsourcesand in awell-
ventilatedposition.The refrigeratorshould be atleast50cm
fromradiators,gasorcoalstovesand5cmfarfromelectrical
stoves.
•Keep the topfreeforatleast15cm.
•Donot placeheavyand lotsofthingsontheappliance.
•Iftheapplianceisinstallednextto anotherrefrigeratororfreezer,
observeamiminumdistanceof2cm topreventcondensation.
•Donotputvery(!)hotfood orbowlon thetop table.Itcan damage
thetoptable.
•Fittheplasticwallspacerstothecondenseratthebackofthe
refrigeratorin ordertoprevent leaning tothe wall for good
performance.
•Theappliancemustbestandfirmlyandlevelonthe flooruse
levelling-feet tocompensateforanevenfloor.
•Theoutsideof theapplianceand theaccessoriesinsideshouldbe cleanedwitha
solutionof waterand liquidsoap;theinsideoftheappliancewithsodiumbicarbonate
dissolvedinlukewarmwater. Afterdryingreplacealltheaccessories.
BeforeSwitchingOn
•Waitafter3hoursbeforeplugging theapplianceintothepowerto
ensureproperperformance.
•Therecan beanodorwhenyoufirstswitchontheappliance.It will
disappearaftertheappliancestartstocool.

ThermostatSetting
•Thermostatautomaticallyregulatesthe insidetemperatureof the refrigerator
compartment andfreezercompartment.Byrotatingtheknobfromposition 1.to5.,
coldertemperaturescanbe obtained.
•«0 »position showsthermostatisclosedandnocoolingisavailable.
•Forshort-termstorageoffoodinthefreezercompartment,youcansetthe knob
between minimumand mediumposition.(1-3)
•Forlong-termstorage of food inthefreezercompartment,you can setknopmedium
position.(3-4)
Notethat; theambianttemperature, temperatureofthefreshlystoredfoodandhow
oftenthedoorisopened,affectsthetemperatureintherefrigeratorcompartment.If
required,changethetemperaturesetting.
•When youfirst switch on theappliance, forstartingasuitable cooling,the appliance
should work24hourscontinuouslyuntilitcools downtosufficienttemperature.
•Inthistimedonot openthedoorsooftenand placealotof foodinside theappliance.
•Iftheunitis switchedofforunplugged,youmustallowatleast5minutesbefore
restartingorre-plugged theunitinordernotto damagethecompressor.
•Thefreezerof therefrigeratorcancoolupto-12°C .

“DoorOpen”Indicator;
• The« DoorOpen »indicatoronthe handleshowswhetherthe door
hasclosedproperlyorwhetheritisstillopen.
•Iftheindicatorisred,thedoorisstillopen.
•Iftheindicatoriswhite,thedoorisproperlyclosed.
•Observethatthefreezer’sdoorshouldalwaysbe keptclosed. This
willpreventfoodproductsfromdefrosting; itwill avoidheavyiceand
frostbuild-upinsidethefreezerandanunnecessaryincreasein
energyconsumption.
Making Icecubes;
Icetray;
•Fill the icetraywithwaterand placeinfreezer compartment.
•Afterthe watercompletelyturnedintoice,youcan twistthe trayasshownbelowtoget
the icecube.

Temperatureindicator
Inorderto help youbettersetyourrefrigerator,wehave
equippeditwithatemperatureindicatorlocatedinthecold-
estarea.
Tobetterstorethefoodinyourrefrigerator,especially in
thecoldestarea,makesurethemessage “OK”appears
onthe temperatureindicator.If«OK»doesnotappear,
thismeansthatthe temperaturesetting hasnot been done
properly.
Since“OK”appearsin black,itwill bedifficulttosee this indicationifthetemperature
indicatorisbadly lit.Tobeabletoseethisindicationproperly,thereshould beenough
light.
Eachtimethe temperaturesetting device ischanged, wait forthe stabilisation of the
temperatureinsidetheappliancebeforeproceeding,ifnecessary,with anewtempera-
turesetting.Pleasechangethe positionofthetemperaturesettingdeviceprogressively
andwaitat least12hoursbeforestartinganewcheckandpotentialchange.
NOTE: Followingrepeatedopenings(orprolongedopening)ofthe doororafterputting
freshfoodintothe appliance,itisnormal forthe indication “OK” not toappearin the
temperaturesettingindicator.Ifthereisanabnormal icecrystalsbuildup(bottomwallof
theappliance)ontherefrigeratorcompartmentevaporator(overloadedappliance, high
roomtemperature,frequentdooropenings),putthetemperaturesettingdeviceona
lowerpositionuntilcompressoroffperiodsareobtainedagain.
Puttingfoodinthe coldestareaofthe refrigerator
Yourfoodswillbe betterstoredifyouput theminthe most
appropriate coolingarea.Thecoldestareaisjustabovethe
crisper.
Thefollowingsymbolindicatesthecoldestareaofyourrefrig-
erator.
Tobesuretohave a lowtemperatureinthisarea, make sure
theshelf islocatedat thelevel ofthissymbol,asshowninthe
illustration.

Theupperlimitof thecoldestareais indicatedbythe
lowersideofthesticker(head ofthe arrow).Thecoldest
areauppershelfmustbeatthe samelevelwiththe
arrowhead. Thecoldestareaisbelowthislevel.
Astheseshelvesareremovable,makesuretheyare
always atthesamelevel withthesezonelimits
describedonthe stickers,inorderto guarantee tem-
peraturesinthisarea.
Eachtypeoffoodhasan idealconservationtempera-
tureandconsequentlyaparticularlocationtofollow.

• Disconnectunitfromthepowersupplybeforecleaning.
•Donot cleanthe appliancebypouringwater.
•The refrigeratorcompartment should be cleaned
periodicallyusingasolutionofbicarbonateofsodaand
lukewarmwater.
•Cleanthe accessoriesseperatelywith soap andwaterDo
notcleantheminthewashingmachine.
•Donotuseabrasiveproducts,detergentsorsoaps.After
washing, rinsewithcleanwateranddrycarefully.Whenthe
cleaningoperationshavebeencompletedreconnectthe
plugofthe unit withdryhands.
•Youshouldcleanthecondenserwithbroomatleasttwice
ayearinordertoprovideenergysavingand increasethe
productivity.
Defrosting
Forcoolercompartment ;
•Defrostingoccursautomatically in refrigeratorcompartmentduringoperation ;the
defrostwateris collectedbythe evaporatingtrayandevoparatesautomatically.
•The evaporatingtrayand the defrostwaterdrain holeshouldbe cleanedperiodically
with defrostdrain plug to preventthe waterfromcollectingon the bottomof the
refrigeratorinsteadofflowing out.
•Youcanalsopour ½ glass ofthewatertodrain hole tocleaninside.

Forfreezercompartment;
Thefrost,accumulatedinthefreezercompartment,shouldberemovedperiodically.The
freezercompartmentshould becleanedinthewayastherefrigeratorcompartment, with
thedefrostoperationsofthecompartmentat leasttwiceayear.
Forthis;
•Thedaybeforeyou defrost,set thethermostat dial to5.position tofreeze thefoods
completely.
•During defrosting,frozenfoodsshould bewrappedinseverallayersof paperand
keptinacoolplace. Theinevitable riseintemperaturewillshorten theirstorage life.
Rememberto usethesefoodswithinarelativelyshortperiodoftime.
•Switchtherefrigeratoroffatthesocket outletandpullthe main plug
•Leavethe dooropen and toacceleratethe defrosting processoneormorebasinsof
warmwatercan beplaced inthefreezercompartment.
•Drytheinside oftheunitandwatertray,refitthe trayplug andset thethermostat knob
to5position.
Replacing TheLightBulb
Whenreplacingthelight oftherefrigeratorcompartment;
1.Unplugtheunitfromthepowersupply,
2.Pressthehookson thesidesofthelightcovertopandremovethelightcover
3.Changethe presentlightbulbwithanewoneofnotmorethan15W.
4.Replacethelightcoverandafterwaiting 5minutesplug theunit.

Transportation and ChangingofInstallationPosition
•Theoriginalpackagesandfoamedpolystyrene (PS) canbeconcealedifrequired.
•Intransportationtheapplianceshouldbetiedwithawidestripeor astrong rope.The
ruleswrittenon thecorrugated boxmustbeapplied whiletransporting.
•Beforetransportingorchanging oldinstallationposition,allthemoving objects
(ie,shelves,crisper…)should betaken outorfixedwithbandsin ordertopreventthe
shake.
ChangingofDoorOpeningDirection
Incaseyou need tochange door-openingdirection,pleaseconsultthe domesticafter
salesservice.

PART-5. BEFORECALLINGYOUR AFTERSALES SERVICE
Ifyourrefrigeratorisnotworkingproperly,itmaybeaminorproblem, thereforecheckthe
following,beforecallinganelectriciantosavetimeandmoney.

Check that ;
•Thereisno power,
•Thegeneralswitchin yourhomeisnotdisconnected,
•Thethermostat settingison«0» position,
•Thesocketisnotsufficient. Tocheckthis,plug inanotherappliancethatyou know
whichisworking intothesamesocket.
Whattodoifyourrefrigeratorperformspoorly;
Check that ;
•Youhavenotoverloadedtheappliance,
•Thedoorsareclosedperfectly,

•Thereisnodustonthecondenser,

Ifthereis noise;
Thecoolinggaswhichcirculatesintherefrigeratorcircuitmaymakeaslightnoise(bubbling
sound)even when thecompressorisnot running.Donotworrythis isquitenormal.If
thesesoundsaredifferentcheckthat;
•Theapplianceis well leveled,
•Nothing istouchingtherear,
•Thestuffsontheappliancearevibrating.

Recommendations

weatherthe compressorisrunningornot. Donotworry.Thisisquitenormal.The
applianceshould bedefrostedonlyifanexcessively thick layerformson thewall.

tethermostatknobto «0 »position.Defrostand cleanthe refrigeratorleavingthe
