DO ANYTHING CASE.
It’s more than just a protective case for
the iPhone; it’s your essential gear for any
outdoor adventure. We hope that you
enjoy the freedom and peace of mind
that comes from hours, perhaps days of
extended use between charges of your
iPhone. A rear solar panel also provides
a trickle charge for additional battery
replenishment when away from a power
source.

GETTING STARTED
The SLXtreme 5 is partially charged and
can be used right out of the package,
but for best results it is recommended
that you fully charge the case’s internal
battery.
1.Twist the Micro USB Lock Screw at
the bottom of the case to open the
bottom compartment and expose the
Micro USB Jack.
2.Insert the Micro USB end of the
included cable into the case port and
then connect the USB end into the
USB port on your computer or USB
Charger connected to a power source.

3.The SLXtreme5 case will automatically
turn on and four LED light indicators
will show the current charge level.
The indicators will blink at each level
until the integrated battery stays fully
illuminated at each level.
LED behavior while charging: The
LEDs are divided to show an estimated
percentage of the battery’s charge. If
the case has exceeded a certain level
of charge that LED will remain fully
illuminated. While the case is charging
within a certain range of charge that
all LEDs are fully illuminated without
reached 100% capacity charged.
Note: If you are charging the SLXtreme
case with the iPhone in the case, and
it is connected to an external power
source the iPhone will be charged to
be charged.

To determine the power level of the
SLXtreme case, press the Battery Re-
charge Button:

Using SLXtreme5 to Power & Protect
your iPhone 5/5S
is designed for submerging in water
to 30 minutes. Keep the top cover seal
free from debris and sand to prevent
any leakage.
Note: Before using SLXtreme
underwater, it is recommended to test
fully locked SLXtreme with a paper

towel folded inside instead of your
iPhone to check for leaks prior to use.
Submerge in 1 foot of water for 30
minutes and check inside to make sure
all locks and seals are water tight.
1.Remove any case or accessory
that may be on or connected to
your iPhone, including polyurethane
removing the phone from the case.
2.Open the Top Cover of the SLXtreme
5 by unclasping the latch. Slide
the iPhone 5/5S into the SLXtreme
until seated onto the internal iPhone
charger and close the Top Cover.

3.Re-latch the Top Cover and the
iPhone 5/5S is now secured into the
SLXtreme case and is sealed.
Make sure cables are removed from
their ports and the bottom compart-
ment is closed and the Micro USB
Lock tightened.
Note: To remove phone from case,
grip the front and back of phone using
top corners of the phone.

Taking Images and Video While
Underwater
1.The SLXtreme is meant for water
sports enthusiasts, adventurers and
extreme outdoor lifestyles. While
the touch screen is not responsive
underwater, you can still capture
photos and video with your iPhone.
2.Use the volume shutter button to
snap photos in and out of water or to
begin/end recording video. Wipe any
moisture away to use the screen again
or to switch modes.
3.When you come up for air, instantly
post and share your images and
videos on your social sites. Don’t

Using Your Ear Buds and Bluetooth
headsets
The SLXtreme5 is compatible with ear
buds and Bluetooth headsets with the
Watertight Earphone Jack Adapter.
1.To connect ear buds, remove the
audio plug, close the USB /Audio door
and connect the audio jack adapter.
2.Turn 1 quarter to lock. Insert the audio
plug into the holder to prevent loss.
Now attach your favorite earphones or
buds, using audio jack adapter.
3.To use your audio Bluetooth device,
refer to its user guide to pair with the
SLXtreme5.

Using the Rear Solar Panel for
Emergency Trickle Charge
To charge the SLXtreme5 using the
solar panel, face the panel towards the
charging.
For every hour of sunlight, the
SLXtreme5 case’s power is replenished
enough to provide approximately 10
minutes of talk time when you are away
from an electric power source.
Note: Solar charge time, replenishment
and iPhone charge may vary pending

The Solar Panel trickle charges the
SLXtreme case. To charge iPhone
enough for a short call, press the
Recharge Button for four seconds.
For added security, Snow Lizard
Products recommends using the
carabiner and lanyard included with the
SLXtreme. This will prevent loss and will
keep the SLXtreme charging and handy
while loosely worn around the neck.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
SnowLizard’s warranty obligations are
limited to the terms set forth below:
SnowLizard™ warrants that, subject
to the following limitations, each of its
products (“Products”) will be free from
defects in material and workmanship
and conforms to the Product
from the date of original purchase.
This warranty applies only to Products
manufactured by SnowLizard™ that
contain the SnowLizard ™ trademark,
Further, this warranty applies only to the
original purchaser of the Product and
all claims must be accompanied by and
submitted with proof of purchase.
SnowLizard will have no liability for
any Product returned if SnowLizard
determines that:
The product was not purchased from
an authorized reseller.
The person asserting the warranty
is not the original purchaser of the
Product.
The asserted defect is attributable to
misuse, abuse, mishandling, improper

installation, alteration (including
removal of labels), or accident while in
the possession of someone other than
SnowLizard™.
The Product’s external casing was
opened or if any internal components
were exposed or removed.
Any excessive “wear and tear” of the
Product.
Your exclusive remedy for any defective
Product is limited to the repair or
replacement of the defective Product.
SnowLizard™ shall have a reasonable
time after determining that a defective
Product under its limited warranty
will be manufactured from new and
serviceable used parts. SnowLizard’s
warranty applies to repaired or
replaced Products for the balance of
the applicable period of the original
warranty or 90 days from the date of
shipment of the repaired or replaced
Product, whichever is longer.
There are no warranties that extend
beyond the face of the SnowLizard™
Limited Warranty. SnowLizard™
disclaims all other warranties, express
or implied, regarding the Products,
including any implied warranties of

purpose or noninfringement. Some
jurisdictions do not allow the
exclusion of the implied warranties.
SnowLizard™’s entire liability for any
defective Product shall in no event
exceed the purchase price of the
defective Product. This limitation
applies even if SnowLizard™ cannot or
does not repair or replace any defective
Product and your exclusive remedy fails
its essential purpose.
SnowLizard™ has no liability for
general consequential, incidental or
special damages. These include loss
of use or damage to any other product
used in conjunction with the defective
Products, loss of recorded data, lost
damage or replacement of equipment
and property, the cost of the installation
or removal of any Products, the
installation of replacement Products,
and any necessary testing, inspection
or redesign caused by any defect or by
the repair or replacement of Products
arising from a defect in any Product.
In the United States, some states do
not allow exclusion or limitation of
