Thank you for purchasing our cooling and carbonating system for water from the
mains.
It provides you with industrial sector technologies for the treatment of drinkable
water. Please carefully read and keep this manual for installation, correct use and
efficient maintenance. As a consequence, your cooler will last longer, always
meeting your expectations.
Safety
Essential warnings
Warning: Make sure the cooler is connected to a grounded socket and to a
ground fault circuit interrupter
Warning: Electrical system grounding must meet current laws. Electrical and
hydraulic connections must be carried out by qualified technicians only,
according to the instructions
Warning: Keep all packaging (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene) away
from the reach of children
Warning: The system must not be used by people (including children) with
reduced physical, sensorial or mental capabilities or by people without the
necessary experience and know-how, who have not received supervision or
instructions on system use by their safety manager
Warning: Do not let children play with the cooler
Warning: Do not shake the cooler. Do not leave containers of liquids or
flammable or corrosive materials on the system
Warning: Make sure the system is turned off when operations not included in
this manual are required

Operating modes
The cooler is designed and manufactured to dispense water. Any other use is
considered improper. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by
improper use of the cooler.
Electrical safety
Warning: Electrical system grounding must meet current laws. Electrical
connections must be carried out by qualified technicians only, according to
the instructions.
Warning: This is an electrically powered system. Therefore, it is important to
follow the safety regulations below:
Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
Make sure the plug is easily accessible to be able to unplug the
cooler if necessary.
In the event of system malfunctions, do not attempt to repair it. Turn
it off using the main switch, unplug the plug and contact Customer
service. Make sure the power voltage matches the value indicated in
the identification plate on the back of the system. Connect the
system to a correctly installed socket with efficient grounding. If the
socket does not match the system plug, have qualified personnel
replace the socket with the appropriate type. Do not use power strips
or extensions.
During installation and use
Warning Pay the utmost care during system handling in order not to damage
the cooling circuit components and to avoid gas leaks
Warning Avoid prolonged system exposure to direct sunlight
Warning Do not bend tubes excessively during system installation
After unpacking the cooler, make sure the product is complete and not damaged and
that all components are included.
Do not use the system if visibly damaged. Contact Customer service.

Only qualified personnel should install the system according to current laws
in the country of installation.
Keep all packaging (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene etc.) away from the
reach of children.
Do not expose the cooler to direct sunlight and, to maintain performance,
we recommend you do not install the system in environments where the
temperature can exceed 32°C.
Surface treatment
Warning Before any cleaning procedure, switch off the cooler and disconnect
it from the main socket
Warning Do not use solvents or abrasive detergents.
A damp soft cloth will suffice
Cooler description
JUMBO 13 is a remote cooler that refrigerates and carbonates water from the mains.
It is possible to connect to the cooler an insulated “python” tube ( 2 ways: made of
two tubes, one in which refrigerated water flows and one in which carbonated water
flows, combined with 2 cooling water recirculation tubes) to supply a tower or a water
dispensing system.

Identification plate
The identification plate is on the side of the cooler.
Warning Always request original spare parts
When calling Customer service, indicate the required information and references that
are printed on the identification plate on the side of the cooler.
Electric appliances are not to be disposed of as normal household waste.
Appliances with this symbol are covered by European Directive 2002/96/EC.
All electric and electronic appliances must be disposed of separately from
household waste and taken to authorized centers dedicated to the collection
of special materials
Package content
After unpacking the cooler, make sure the product is complete and not damaged and
that all components are included.
Pay the utmost care when handling the system to avoid collisions or falls that could
damage the cooling circuit. The package contains the following material:

Installation
Warning Professional installation is required. Data on the power supply and
water mains connections must meet the values indicated in the Technical
Specifications table

Cooler positioning
Warning Incorrect positioning could restrict system performance
Warning Safety devices must be adequately secured so as not to permit
removal without adequate tools
Warning Position the cooler away from heat sources
Check minimum requirements
Check the minimum requirements necessary for a correct installation.
Leave at least 100 mm free around and above the system as described in the
present manual in order to avoid overheating.

Power mains connection
Warning Before inserting the plug, make sure that the voltage and frequency
match those indicated on the identification plate and in the technical
specifications table
Warning Make sure the main switch is off
Warning Make sure the power cord does not represent an obstacle or a
danger to the passage of people
Warning Make sure the power cord is not crushed or bent
Warning Make sure the power cord does not come into contact with any type
of liquid, sharp or hot objects or corrosive substances
Warning Do not wind the power cord
Warning Connect the cooler to the socket using the supplied power cord
Connection to water mains
Warning It is necessary to place a tap between the water mains and the
water inlet tube. Connect the cooler to drinkable cold water from the mains
only
Warning It is necessary to place a non-return valve between the water inlet
tap and the first installed component
Warning All water mains connections must be carried out by a qualified
plumber
It is advisable to install a pressure reducer between the water mains tap
(after the water block, if installed, and before the filtration kit, if installed) and
the cooler.
Connect the water inlet tube inserting it into the dedicated water inlet fitting of the
cooler, then connect the tube to the water mains socket.

Connection of CO2 tube
Insert the CO₂ tube, previously connected to the reducer of the CO₂ cylinder,into the
CO₂ inlet of the cooler and slightly pull it to verify it holds correctly.
Use
First start-up
Warning: with the cooler switched off, fill the internal tank until copper coils
are covered (1) (if water leaks from the “too full” drain on the front of the
cooler, the cooler not being inclined, it means the maximum admissible level
of water in the tank was exceeded)

Switch on the cooler using the main switch placed on the side only after
connecting the tubes, opening the water, the pressure reducer if installed and
the CO 2(to prevent the carbonation pump to prevent it from idling).
The backlit switch indicated the cooler is on.
If using JUMBO 13 for the first time, it is necessary to wait 3 hours before the cooler
is ready to fully work.
During this time the cooler is functioning, but with limited performance.
Follow the above-described procedure even after prolonged periods of
inactivity.
Regulate the pressure of water from the mains
Warning When regulating pressure, verify the new flow dispensing a small
quantity of water. For an optimum performance of the cooler regulate the
pressure between 2 and 3 bars
Regulate the pressure of CO2
Warning Open the pressure reducer only after completing the installation
procedures
Water carbonation can be regulated intervening on the knob of the pressure
reducer screwed on the cylinder.
Warning When modifying the CO₂ pressure,the corresponding carbonation
level will be reached after dispensing 0,5 liters of cold sparkling water
Warning. Regulate the pressure at least 0.5 bar over the value of inlet water
pressure operating on the CO₂ knob. The CO₂pressure can be regulated up
to a maximum of 5 bars
When water carbonation progressively decreases it is necessary to replace
the CO₂ cylinder.

Warning: During first
installation it is necessary to
allow air to escape from the

Open the top cover
unscrewing the fixing
screws;
Set the CO2 dispensing
regulating the reducer to the
desired value.
Lift the dedicated metallic
ring [1] of the carbonator for
3 seconds
Dispensing during first use
Warning Dispense 3 liters of cold still water and 1 liter of cold sparkling water
to clean water coils properly
Still water is immediately ready.
The ideal temperature for cold still and cold sparkling water will be reached
after approximately 3 hours.
Adjustments
Warning Periodically check the water level in the main tank. Should this level
not reach the MAX level, restore the level by adding water directly to the tank
as described in paragraph "first start-up”
Water temperature
We recommend setting the knob on the max level for best performance in
any environmental condition.
The temperature of cold still and cold sparkling water can be regulated
rotating the knob on the right side of the cooler.
The range of values indicates the output temperature, with “0” the water
will be refrigerated at minimum, with “MAX” the water will be refrigerated at
maximum.

Cooler cleaning and sanitizing
Warning Clean and sanitize the cooler at least once every 6 months to grant
the correct quality level
Warning Carry out all maintenance or cleaning operations with the cooler
switched off and the power cord unplugged from the socket
Warning Do not remove or damage the identification plate
Warning Always wear gloves and protective clothing
Warning Do not clean the cooler with direct water sprays or vapor tools and
do not immerse it in water
Warning The manufacturer cannot be held liable for accidents or damages
caused by the failure to respect the instructions of the present manual
Warning Do not use steel wool, scrapers or abrasive, acid or aggressive
substances that could permanently damage the surfaces
Cooler sanitizing (with filter)
Warning: Cooler sanitizing must be carried out by qualified technicians only
Proceed as follows:
Close water supply tap;
Open the dispensing taps to let pressure out of the circuit;
Unscrew Everpure water filter and pull it down to extract it;
Pour the sanitizing product (e.g. “Acqua Igienic”, “Amuchina”) in the
cleaning dedicated container;
Insert the container in the seat where filter was, pushing it upwards and
screwing it, and make sure it is properly hooked to the seat;
Open the water supply tap;
Dispense room-temperature water for a few seconds, then cold still water
until sanitizing solution has been completely dispensed.
Warning: After dispensing the sanitizing solution dispense 3 more liters of
water (1 liter of cold still, 1 liter of room temperature and 1 liter of cold
carbonated water to clean the water circuit properly).

External surfaces
All external surfaces of JUMBO 13, are in stainless steel. They must be cleaned with
a cloth slightly dampened with neutral detergent or soapy water.
After the cleaning, rinse with a damp cloth and carefully dry preventing water from
entering the slots.
Maintenance
Warning Poor system maintenance could jeopardize good operations and
cause damages for which the manufacturer may not be held liable
Warning Only use food-safe CO₂ cylinders
Warning Do not touch the cooler with bare, damp or wet hands or feet
Warning Do not insert screwdrivers, kitchen utensils or other utensils in the
slots and cooler components
Disuse
If the cooler must be turned off for more than 1 week:
Clean and sanitize the cooler
Close the water tap
Unplug the power cord plug
When the system is turned back on, perform the operations indicated in the
paragraph on cooler sanitizing.
Emptying the main tank
Warning The tank must be emptied before moving the cooler
We recommend you empty the main tank at least once a year.
To empty the main tank, place a tube in the tank and remove content to a
container with suitable capacity to avoid accidental flooding.

Replacing external plastic tubes
Warning: External plastic tubes must be replaced at least once a year
Preliminary checks
In the event of malfunctions, before contacting a specialized technician, check:
that the power cord is correctly inserted
that power is on
that water from the mains is being supplied
that no safety device has triggered (e.g. the water block if installed)
Check of water mains
Check if the tap between the water mains and the water inlet tube is open and if
water comes out of other taps.
If water is available and the water mains works properly, proceed with Check of inlet
water pressure.
If the water mains does not work properly, please have it checked.
Check of inlet water pressure
Warning It is advisable to check CO₂pressure every time there is a change
in inlet water pressure
For further information read the chapter on first installation.
Regulate inlet water pressure between 2 and 3 bars.
CO2 pressure check
Warning Never exceed the indicated inlet value
For further information read the chapter on first installation.
Check the water manometer, if installed, during the dispensing of cold
sparkling water.
CO₂pressure must be regulated at 0.5 bars over the inlet water pressure by
rotating the plastic knob of the reducer.

Check for water leaks
Warning If water covers the whole basement and leaks on the counter,
switch off the cooler, close inlet water and call a qualified technician
Customer service
Warning While waiting to solve a problem, it is best not to use the cooler and
disconnect it from the power mains (unplugging it) and from the water mains if
there are water leaks (closing the tap upstream from the cooler)
Warning Do not attempt to repair or modify any cooler parts: this could be
potentially hazardous. Rely on qualified technicians only
