how to safely drive the Flowkart in order to reduce the risks of driving.
This manual is designed to help you learn safe driving techniques.
THE FLOWKART MUST NOT BE USED UNLESS THE MANUAL HAS BEEN CAREFULLY READ THROUGH.

2.3 Further safety information
There are risks to driving every vehicle. The Flowkart is no exception. Start in a safe location without traffic and have
somebody helping you with your first steps and start slowly. Driving the Flowkart requires a high amount of concentration
and attention. If you carefully follow all the instructions and warnings in this manual, you should be able to teach yourself
to drive. Avoid to use the Flowkart if you are feeling tired, sleepy or you have a medical condition that reduces your ability

2. All users of the Flowkart must follow all local traffic laws and regulations. Check local traffic laws on where you can
use the Flowkart legally. Especially keep track of pedestrians when you drive this device.
3. The tires/wheels of the Flowkart must have contact with the ground at all times. Abrupt manoeuvres and driving over
slippery surfaces (e.g. due to snow, ice, sand, oil), bumps, and loose objects and materials, as well as performing
jumps and stunts, may cause it to lose traction and must be avoided therefore. The driving speed must always be
adjusted to given conditions (e.g. light, weather, other traffic participants, etc.). Avoid obstacles and bumpy terrain
(e.g. potholes) which could result in a loss of balance or traction and cause a fall, or could lead to getting stuck, which
could lead to injuries or damage to the device.
4. Do not exceed the maximum weight of 100 kg –including backpacks and other items that might be carried. Exceeding
the weight limit could lead to injury of the driver and/or damage to the Flowkart.
5. The Flowkart must not be used by small children. Parents shall judge if the children have the required coordination,
ability and judgement to use the Flowkart properly.
6. Do not modify the Flowkart. Modifications could interfere with operating and could result in serious injury and/or
damage. Modifications void your right to warranty. Some modifications may be illegal according to local traffic law.
7. Do not accelerate too quickly. A risky way of riding (e.g. abrupt manoeuvres, fast acceleration, fast turning) increases
the risk of injury and is therefore forbidden. Hold the handle-bars tightly with both hands at any time when driving
and always keep both feet on the intended spots. The speed must always be adjusted according to the driving
conditions.
8. Never operate any Flowkart while under the influence of drugs, alcohol, strong medication or other substances that
can influence your level of attention. The use of the Flowkart is not recommended for pregnant women.

9. Driving in rainy and snowy weather is strictly forbidden since the device is not fully waterproof. Also do not drive
through puddles of water because the water could damage the engine or the electric parts or it could suffer a short
circuit. Never drive in poor sight conditions (e.g. fog).
10. It is recommended to learn to drive the Flowkart in a safe environment without traffic or obstacles. Never drive next
to stairs or water (e.g. swimming pools). Never use your phone or listen to music while driving.
11. You must wear a complete protection equipment (helmet, kneepads, back protector, etc.) when driving the Flowkart.
12. The Flowkart is designed for the use of one person only at a time. It must never be used by more than one person at
a time. Do not carry heavy or spacious objects with you when driving.
13. Always adjust your speed to the driving conditions. Never go too fast, especially when driving downhills.
14. For your own security, it is strictly forbidden to open up the Flowkart or the charging device. Opening the Flowkart
or the charging device leads to your warranty being void.
15. Never touch the brakes or the engine while driving or after the use of the Flowkart, since they can become very hot.
Keep your body parts, especially fingers, away from the tire/wheels and other moving parts of the Flowkart. Make
sure that no clothes (e.g. shoe laces) get in contact with moving parts of the device.
16. Never drive the Flowkart in an environment with a lot of traffic. You are sitting at low height when using the Flowkart
and therefore you are not well visible for other road users.

to spin freely if you accidentally press the acceleration lever, which could result in injury to yourself or damage to
things around you. Do not turn the Flowkart off when you are driving it.
